Long-distance belt conveyance

The purpose of my bachelor thesis was a research of devices similar to long-distance belt transport. However, the greatest emphasis is placed on the long-distance belt transport method. Following is a detailed description of each component of the device. Furthermore, it deals with functional calculation according to the assignment of bachelor thesis and strength check of selected elements. The last chapter is a proposal and justification of used components according to the results of calculations for this type of belt conveyor. Part of the thesis is the design of the overall device assembly.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is critical research of equipment similar to belt conveyors. The work contains an introduction to the definition of logistics and transportation of materials. The next chapter focuses on other transport and material handling options. Next deal specifically with belt conveyors. Further it deals with the functional calculation according to the assignment of the bachelor thesis and the strength check. The penultimate chapter is the proposal and justification of the used components according to the results of the functional calculation for this type of conveyor belt.

The study of driven industrial trucks

The thesis deals with the industrial trucks for material handling in the manufacturing plant. The analysis includes the clear distribution, the description of each type, the description of the structure, the description of handling mechanism and the technical and operational parameters. The thesis critically evaluates the area of manipulation with the trucks. Final part is devoted to the future expects of further development in this area.

Belt conveyor for assembly line

This bachelor thesis deals with the problems of belt conveyors, especially in the use for material handling. The aim of this work is to calculate and design the belt conveyor for the assembly line according to specific parameters. The design was done according to ČSN ISO 5048 standard. The main benefit of this work is the design of the device according to the specification.

Lifting equipment for a tractor

This thesis deals with the design of the device carried by a tractor which will be used for material handling. Aggregation is solved using the three - point hitch of the tractor. The load carrying capacity is 1000 kg. The thesis contains a 3D design, a constructional solution, which is based on strength and control calculations, and technical drawings.

Travelling and lifting mechanism

The main objective of this work is to design and calculation of handling means for transporting the Bell helicopter between landing area and the storage place. The first part is a literature search with a general overview of producers who are preoccupied with producing the same or similar equipment. Below is an analysis of the applicable mechanisms for handling the helicopter in terms of structure and a summary of some manufacturers. In the second part the design, calculations, technical and design documentation.

Proposal to Streamline Logistic Activities in Manufacturing Company

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the work of the manufacturing and warehouse operators in manufacturing company Nobel Automotive Slovakia s.r.o. and points to the process wastage gaps and introduces suggestions for process improvements. The thesis includes basic concepts of logistics, explains wastage and also describes applied methods Study of Labour. On the basis of theoretical knowledge it describes the current state of the internal logistics activities and material flow in the company. In conclusion of thesis are proposed solutions, which should help to eliminate wastage and streamline monitored logistics activities.
