Všudypřítomné exponenciální zobrazení a edukační aspekty interdisciplinární fyziky

We emphasize the concept of exponential family and elucidate its ubiquitous and unifying role for interdisciplinary physics. We outline some metamorphoses of the exponential family in Bayesian Inference, Statistical Thermodynamics, Quantum Physics, Fourier Spectroscopy, Analytical Combinatorics, Sufficient Statistics, Symmetries and Lie Groups, Complex Systems (spiral geometries, power laws, phyllotaxis). On a heuristic level, the exponential family elucidates analogies between many seemingly scattered concepts and constructions, thus representing a tool of remarkable educational value. On a deeper epistemic level, the exponential faimly points out to some important ideas behind information physics and interdisciplinary science in general, thus representing a vivid research concept

Creation of laboratory exercises in the NS3 enviroment

Diploma thesis provides an introduction to the ns-3 network simulator. It describes the basic abstactions and components of the instrument. This work further discusses the theory, which was applied during simulation creation. The concept of unicast, the issue of IP addressing and routing in networks are specificaly analyzed. The practical part is focused on the creation of four laboratory tasks within the scope of Advanced Communication Techniques. The first task is dedicated to the the issue of static unicast routing in the network. It clarifies the impact of metrics on the process of routing. The following task compares the different types of ICMPv4 and ICMPv6 messages. The third task discusses additional functions of the ICMPv6. Specifically, it focuses on five different types of ICMPv6 messages defined by NDP (Neighbor Discovery Protocol) and their role in the network traffic. The last task focuses on ensuring the quality of services (QoS) in wireless networks, by setting priorities and thereby dividing the traffic into different classes. Attention is focused on parameters such as throughput, delay and jitter.

Správa dokumentů v souladu s ISO 9001:2000 v malých a středních firmách

Tato práce je vhodným informačním materiálem pro malé a střední firmy, které se potýkají s problémy správy dokumentů. Dále pro všechny, kteří mají zájem získat podrobnější informace možnostech, jakými lze správu dokumentů ve firmě řešit. Poskytuje obecný úvod do problematiky práce s dokumenty a vysvětluje pojem a funkce dokument management systému (DMS). Dále je popsáno, jaké požadavky má na správu dokumentů norma EN ISO 9001:2000. Na příkladu konkrétní firmy, která provádí proces implementace ISO 9001:2000, potom práce rozebírá problémy, které firmě vznikly v důsledku zanedbání rozvoje a zlepšování procesu správy dokumentů a vysvětluje způsoby, jakými lze vzniklou situaci řešit. Ve firmě jsou identifikovány základní problémy, které vedou k růstu nákladů při práci s dokumenty. Firma definuje své požadavky na řešení a je zjištěno, že požadavky firmy na odstranění problémů, které vznikají při práci s dokumenty se v mnohém shodují s požadavky uvedenými v normě ISO 9001:2000. Jednotlivé možné varianty řešení správy dokumentů jsou v této práci rozebrány, jsou popsány jejich výhody a nevýhody a je provedeno srovnání. V závěru je potom vybrána varianta, která je pro tuto konkrétní firmu nejvhodnějším řešením.

The region, regional policy of the European Union and enlargement 2004

The thesis deals with a region as a basic building unit of the regional policy of the European Union, describing the formation and development of the European regional policy as supranational one and therefore unique on a global scale. With the increasing regional policy budget (this policy being the second most expensive in the Union), the influence of regions proper is growing as well: they are becoming more independent and emancipated. In the running process of globalisation, regions with the highest added value seem to be the best off: innovative regions with qualified labour and a strong connection with the supranational business and information networks. Metropolises, or urban centres, are faring the best in the global competition. The role of these central areas is growing stronger. The task of the regional policy is to balance the differences between these richer, central areas, and peripheral, poorer regions. The enlargement of the European Union by adding ten new member states in 2004 has been accompanied by regional policy reforms as there has been a sharp increase in the number of less developed regions, i.e. those that are entitled to draw upon funds of the European regional policy. Application for digital signature and timestamping

In general, the Internet represents an unsecured medium of data transfer. Besides the rising popularity of the Internet, the matters of safety are getting to the foreground of importance. Anybody would be able to gain access to the computer network or to other valuable information if no algorithm of verifying the genuineness of identity were used. It is necessary to secure not only the access to the documents but also the content itself, which could be modified during the transfer through an unsecured medium. Last but not least, without the discretion provided by cryptography, the information may become literally public. To provide security and protection for the communicating participants the problems mentioned above are solved with the help of cryptographic techniques. The verification of the identity and the integrity of messages, the credibility of document’s ownership and safe data transfer through an unsecured medium are all the aspects, which the field of communication security on the Internet, thus the public key infrastructure, deals with. The electronic signature, as a part of the security area, is one of many advertised themes nowadays in Czech Republic. The aim of this master’s thesis is to acquaint the reader with the necessary technological procedures of digital signature, such as cryptographic techniques, public key infrastructure and timestamp. The practical part of this thesis consists of a suggested implementation of a web application in the programming language ASP.NET, which forms a certification authority with an opportunity of claiming a timestamp to authorize timestamps. After the problematic of cryptography was explained in the first chapter, the term of electronic signature has been introduced in the second chapter. Very important information, as far as the electronic signature of documents is concerned, is the time of the document’s creation and the subsequent signature verification by an appropriate authority. So the following part of the thesis is dedicated to the timestamp and to the authority of its verification. The fourth section deals with the large scale of public key infrastructure. The fifth part focuses on the description of the support for the whole problem mentioned so far using Microsoft’s programming language ASP.NET. The final sixth chapter represents the practical part of the thesis, namely the web application itself, where the individual modules of the application with its functions are described.

Tools for deepening customer loyalty in the banking sector

This diploma thesis deals with loyalty and tools which could deepen the loyalty of customers. The thesis provides theoretical background of the theme and outlines essence of the customer loyalty for consequent proposition of tools for its creation. At the beginning of this thesis the conception of loyalty is supported by basic facts of marketing theory, e.g. marketing communication, marketing mix and brand. The thesis continues with essence of loyalty, aspects of loyalty, its drivers, possibilities of satisfaction and loyalty meassurement and effects of loyalty with focus on banking sector. Further this part defines the banking sector, specifics of banking product and developement trends in banking. Partially the influence of current economical crisis on customer loyalty is taken into account. Practical part is focused on description and practical examples of each tool which extends customer loyalty to bank institution in Czech republic and abroad as well. Tools are divided by marketing mix elements according to prevalent characteristics corresponding with the given element. Next are mentioned suggestions to proposition of new loyalty program. The thesis set 3 possible ways of future developement of customer loyalty creation.These ways are focus on simple program resembling to sales promotion, complex program creating real customer loyalty and focus on soft elements (e.g. service quality and pleasant surrounding). At the conclusion is given recommendation for future developement of customer loyalty creation in Česká spořitelna.

Protection of consumers in relation to banks

67 ABSTRACT Consumer Protection in Relation to Banks Consumer protection is a form of governmental regulation, which protects the interests of comsumers as a weaker contracting party. This work is focused just on part of it, namely on the protection of consumers in relation to banks. The preamble deals with the determination of individual parties in consumer relation - consumer and bank as a supplier. The concept consumer is included in several acts. Consumer Protection Act defines a consumer as "a natural person or a legal entity that purchases products or uses services for other purposes than enterprising with those products or services". Because of specific determination of the concept "consumer", in this work another concept is used, namely a bank client. Bank is deteminated by the Banking Act and as a legal entity with its registered seat on the territory of the Czech Republic, established as a joint-stock company which accepts personal deposits and grants loans, and which has a banking licence for performing these activities. It also provides a survey of general principles and legal regulations connected with consumer protection in the area of banking. Use of enterprise social networks in company

The thesis is focused on analyzing possible uses of enterprise social networks in an organization and impacts of the implementing on processes and employees. The term social network is defined and possible uses are listed in the first part of the thesis. The thesis continues with a definition of enterprise social networks and a description of their characteristics. The first chapter provides a list of the featu-res and functions of enterprise social networks of different vendors. Pros and cons of using enterprise social network Yammer are detailed. Yammer is one of the most common networks and has been used in a business case of Manica's client, which is described in the practical part of the thesis. Conclusion of the thesis is an overview of enterprise social networks available on the market and a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of implementa-tion.Using acquired knowledge can be concluded modalities for the an application of corporate social network in the environment of any organization.

Example of work with DynamoDB

The thesis is focused on database systems called NoSQL and can be divided into two parts. The first part attempts to explain the concept and discusses several aspects that NoSQL differs from traditional relational-based model databases. Then follows a descrip-tion of the main streams approaches of data storage and comparison in the context of rela-tional databases. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with the basic principles of rela-tional databases. The thesis deals in more detail with a key-value databases Redis and Dy-namoDB. In the practical part is given example of work with the DynamoDB service. This chapter provides information on how to make it operational, fill with data and make queries.

This work deals with landscape boundaries, how they become evident and how they change in the course of historical evolution. The term "landscape boundary" was explored from the geographical, geo morphological, historical, ecological, architectural, esthetic and spiritual point of view. Then the work defines the basic terms and provides the complete look at the issues concerning the topic of landscape and landscape boundaries. The recognized findings are applied on the model territory of the southern part of Znojmo district. The historical evolution of the boundaries in the region of model landscape is researched from ancient times when local geo relief was formed through the time of first settlements up to the present days. New methods of landscape renewal in the mentioned territory are proposed including evaluation of their appropriateness and feasibility. As a part of the work there is also a study of landscape boundary presence in the particular area by means of graphic illustrations.
