Application of technical analysis indicators on futures markets

Technical analysis is one of methods which are used by investors, when they decide about allocation of their financial assets. There is a disagreement about the reliability of results achieved by this approach in the theoretical literature. This paper focuses on results of several simple trading systems based on technical analysis indicators. Tests will run on a portfolio of futures contracts. I will also try to determine optimal parameters and I will propose possible modifications.

Veena Talwar Oldenburg k tomu zastává jasné stanovisko, neboť tvrdí, že to, co ovlivňuje život vdané ženy "není kastovní uspořádání, ale gendrové a generační vztahy v rámci rodiny". 1 Urna Chakravarty se však domnívá, že na ženy je nahlíženo jako na "brány do kastovního systému":-. Lze tato dvě stanoviska smířit nebo je každé pravdivé svým způsobem? Je vůbec možné vystopovat nějaké styčné body, které by byly společné všem ženám v ta k obrovské a rozmanité zemi jakou Je Indie? A lze se nad nimi zamýšlet bez toho, aby se badatel či badatelka občas nezamyslela nad postavením žen v západní, euroamerické společnosti, která je rovněž patriarchální? Právě v tomto směru je užitečné zaměřit se na vliv kastovního systému na postavení žen, neboť je zřejmé, že to je jeden z hlavních rozdílů mezi oběma společnostmi. V první kapitole se pokusíme o obligátní definici kasty a gendru, dále pak nastíníme jejich vývoj v koloniálním období, abychom se ve třetí kapitole mohli dostat k samotné otázce jejich vztahu. Irish political parties euroscepticism analysis

Ireland is generally seen as one of the biggest supporters of the European Union. Irish public opinion researches have been showing long-term and extremely positive attitudes to the European integration. The pro-European consensus is also known among the local political parties. Moreover, at the end of the 20th century, a strong economic growth had started and the Ireland quickly became a model example of how positive impact the European integration may have on its Member states. European issues therefore did not attract too much attention in the local political discourse. This changed in the early 21st century, when the increasing public euroscepticism began observable. The thesis examines whether selected Irish political parties adapted their rhetoric and actions to ever more critical mood of voters. These are Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Green Party. The thesis covers three critical moments of the Irish European integration, namely the Nice Treaty, the Lisbon Treaty and the Irish debt crisis. It searches for negative comments about the EU and European integration of examined political parties in the campaigns before the referendum on European issues, as well as in their election statements to the Irish parliamentary elections, also taking place in the selected period. The influence of French poetry on the genesis of Vítězslav Nezval's poetics

Rozsáhlé, mnohovrstevné a žánrově bohaté básnické dílo Vítězslava Nezvala zaujímá v české poezii od 20. let minulého století významné místo a nepochybně tvoří v jejím vývoji jeden z mezníků. V N ezvalově díle se syntetizovaly mnohé tendence příznačné pro českou poezii 19. století, počínaje Máchou a konče Březinou, stejně jako proměny básnického slova, které do české poezie počátkem 20. století vnesli Nezvalovi předchůdci, básníci jako byli S. K. Neumann, Jakub Deml, Karel Toman, Fráňa Šrámek, Viktor Dyk a další. Vedle díla těchto hlavních představitelů české lyriky na počátku 20. století sehrála při zrodu Nezvalovy poezie a jeho současníků, k nimž patří Jiří Wolker, Jaroslav Seifert, Konstantin Biebl a další, velikou, rozhodující a neopominutelnou roli francouzská poezIe. Význam francouzské poezie pro českou básnickou tradici se nejvýrazněji prosazoval od překladů Jaroslava Vrchlického, které vznikaly vosmdesátých letech 19. století a jeden z hlavních představitelů tzv. francouzských prokletých básníků, Charles Baudelaire, měl nepochybně podstatný vliv na poezii Otokara Březiny, který patřil k Nezvalovým milovaným básníkům, jak to dokládá jeho dedikace knihy Básně noci (1930) právě Březinovi. Genetic diversity and evolutionary history of Czech endemic taxa from the genus Dianthus

Abstract This MSc. thesis deals with karyological, genetic and phenotypic variation of selected taxa from the genus Dianthus L. in the Czech Republic and adjacent countries. The evolutionary history of the genus has been shaped by several microevolutionary processes, including interspecific hybridization, genome duplication, and edaphic speciation. These processes led to the origin of a number of phenotypically similar taxa, which are often restricted to a narrow geographic area. One subendemic and three endemic taxa occur in the Czech Republic. These (sub)species were used as model groups to gain insight into microevolutionary processes in small populations and the postglacial development of the genus in Central Europe. The thesis consists of three parts, each addressing different evolutionary phenomenon: Dianthus arenarius subsp. bohemicus is a critically endangered endemic psammophyte currently known from a single population in Central Bohemia. The site is also inhabited by widespread D. carthusianorum. Práce popisuje kupní smlouvu a její náležitosti. Charakterizuje dokumentární akreditiv jako jeden z nejvýznamějších platebních a zajišťovacích instrumentů v mezinárodním obchodě. Zabývá se výhodami a nevýhodami použití dokumentárního akreditivu, hlavními principy dokumentárního akreditivu, vztahy mezi účastníky akreditivní operace a popisem celého průběhu akreditivní operace. Dále jsou zde zachyceny jednotlivé druhy dokumentárních akreditivů. Závěrem jsou nastíněny nové trendy v oblasti dokumentárního platebního styku.

Blindness and Obsession: Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita and Laughter in the Dark

Many books and essays have been written on the works of Vladimir Nabokov, of which my bibliography contains only a tiny fragment. Yet, most of the studies make comparisons within either Nabokov's Russian works or his American works, while the comparison of the two novels I have chosen, Lolita and Laughter in the Dark, is very rare. Most novels by Vladimir Nabokov display the themes of obsession, blindness, manipulation, freedom, and morality. Most of them also are about games, including language games, and the love of language in general. Nabokov switched from writing in Russian to English and experienced a great deal of pain in relinquishing his native tongue, becoming a phantom in his own prose, as if, he said, he had created the person who wrote in English but was not himself doing the writing. 1 Bearing this in mind, it is also important to state that he had translated two of his Russian novels into English (Laughter in the Dark and Despair) . This split in Nabokov's life into two periods is also why it was of great relevance to me that I should compare two of his novels that were written at different times, in different languages, and with different backgrounds. Associative Anaphora in the Milan Kundera´s Novel "Žert" - Identification, Functioning, Formal Exponents

This thesis deals with questions of so called associative anaphora, which represents one of means of textual references. Firstly, the term is generally delimitated after a study of specialized literature. Then, the analysis is demonstrated at the French version of the novel by Milan Kundera called "La Plaisanterie" and the sequences found in this book are commented and classified on the basis of given criteria into several subcategories. The emphasis is put on semantic relations between coreferential segments and possible influence of using of determiners on functioning of these relations. In addition, the work aims to focus whether the associative link and lexical stereotypes are connected. The final task of this work is the comparison with Czech original and there is demonstrated by a summary what language means are used in Czech language to express such anaphoric links.

This diploma thesis focuses its point on automatization of stopwords generation as one method of pre-processing a textual documents. It analyses an influence of stopwords removal to a result of data mining tasks (classification and clustering). First the text mining techniques and frequently used algorithms are described. Methods of creating domain specific lists of stopwords are described to detail. In the end the results of large collections of text files testing and implementation methods are presented and discussed.

Ancient astrology: signs of zodiac

V dnešní době, kdy se řada lidí odvrací od exaktních věd a hledá určitou alternativu k čistě racionálnímu obrazu světa, se zvyšuje zájem o esoteriku, parapsychologii, alternativní medicínu a také astrologii. Astrologie Je obor, který se zabývá vztahy mez1 postaveními Slunce, Měsíce, planet a hvězd a děním na Zemi. Ačkoli řada odpůrců jí upírá označení vědní disciplíny, je astrologie podobně jako věda založena na empirii, pozorování a statistických metodách, ve kterých rovněž využívá poznatků astronomie. Při svých interpretacích vychází z názoru, že vesmír tvoří jeden celek a tedy všechny jeho součásti nutně musí souviset s ostatními. Právě díky mému hlubšímu zájmu o astrologii jsem se rozhodla zjistit více o tom, odkud vlastně astrologie vzešla, jak se dále šířila a rozvíjela, zdali už v antickém světě dosáhla takové úrovně a poznatků, jakými disponuje dnes a také v jakém prostředí a kým byla praktikována. Výše zmíněné otázky se pokusím zodpovědět v jednotlivých kapitolách. Celá práce bude rozdělena na dvě části, přičemž v první nastíním vývoj astrologické disciplíny a její šíření v antickém světě, ve druhé se budu věnovat jednotlivým znamením zvěrokruhu a jejich zobrazením.
