Translating as a component of Pavla Moudrá's writing

This thesis concentrates on three areas in which Pavla Moudrá attained her cultural objectives, namely in the context of public activity, journalism and translation. Although the scope of the thematic areas to which Moudrá devoted herself during her life was relatively wide, it is possible to identify a number of areas which may be considered as being of fundamental importance for her, and which are also reflected most clearly in her writings and translations - spiritualism, the social position of women, the peace movement, the protection of nature and animals and the education of children and young people. In these Moudrá was engaged first and foremost as a conscious propagator of spiritual values, in particular on the basis of the ideas of the theosophical movement, which especially at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century became a domain for women and their public activities.

Psoriasis ? methods of therapy.

AABBSSTTRRAACCTT Author : Petra Hudská Title: Psoriasis - methods of treatment Thesis Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Specialization: Pharmacy Background: The main aim of this thesis is on the base of foreign and domestic literature search to analyze findings concerning the skin psoriasis ailment and devote the possible innovations in the psoriasis treatment. Main findings: The first part focuses incidence, ethiopathogenesis and clinical forms of disease. Although there are different opinions on the origin of psoriasis, on the present the immunological processes are the most important. The second part describes the particular methods of treatment - external therapy, internal therapy, physical therapy and a biological medication. The alternative methods of treatment are also mentioned. Conclusion: In the most cases there can be used internal and physical therapies methods of psoriasis treatment. In more complicated cases can be then used an internal therapy and biological medication. Biological treatment is indicated in the most complicated cases and offers prospective method that will probably developer in future development.

Biomechanical study of the upper limb wrist

This master´s thesis is focused on biomechanical study of wrist. There is a literature search on this theme in the beginning of this work. The thesis is described in detail anatomy of bones in the wrist. Subsequent the stress-strain analysis of physiological wrist is implemented in a neutral position. The model of geometry of wrist is created on base of CT data. To create calculation model and the solution is implemented in the computer system ANSYS Workbench.

Stress - strain analysis of jaw with tooth implant

This diploma thesis is oriented on a stress – strain analysis of the jaw bone with a screw dental implant. There is a literature search on this theme in the beginning of this work. Solutions deformation and stress the system lower jaw and implant was performed computational modeling, by using the finite element method. Modeling is part of the lower jaw with dental implants applied screw type Ankylos, Bränemark and implant with metric thread. The thesis is described in detail development of calculation model system and solutions. To create a geometry model of geometry Solidworks 2007 was used. To create calculation model and the solution was implamented in the computer systém ANSYS 11.0 and ANSYS Workbench.

The improvement of CRM in a telecommunication company

Customer relationship management represents operating the relations towards customers of company. Nowadays the sense of CRM has changed is little bit as it doesn't mean only software which helps to solve problems but big value is added in relations with customers as such. The subject of this paper is to describe how Vodafone CZ settled with an innovation of CRM. The objective of this paper is to bring closer the improvement of CRM in a telecommunication company. The first chapter focuses on CRM products on the Czech market. I have chosen the most important solutions for small, middle and big companies. The second chapter attends to company Siebel Systems and its product CRM eBusiness, which was apllied in Vodafone CZ. The third chapter introduces the implementation of a new solution. Assessment of physical distress of staff nurses in intensive care units

In this thesis, we focused on physical load evaluation of nurses working at intensive care units. Physical load is an integral part of nurses' everyday work. The work of the nurses in these wards is a very physically demanding one, as there is a risk or actual single or multiple organ systems failure in the hospitalized patients. This thesis describes the basic negative results of physical load, its aim was to determine the physical load at individual intensive care units. The theoretic part focuses on overall characteristics of ICU, movement system anatomy, ergonomics, working environment risks and excessive physical load consequences. Practical part includes quantitative research using a questionnaire to confirm the presumed hypotheses. Hypothesis 1: The nurses working at ICU are subject to higher physical load than nurses in standard care unit Hypothesis 2: The most common manifestation of nurses? physical load is back-pain Hypothesis 3: In ICU, there are tools helping with immobile patient manipulation Altogether, we distributed 200 questionnaires to the nurses at ICU in 3 hospitals in southern part of the Czech Republic - České Budějovice, Český Krumlov a Prachatice. We recovered 183 questionnaires (91, 5 %). After the processing, we analyzed 171 completely filled questionnaires (85, 5 %). The questionnaire research results have been interpreted and charted into graphs and tables. All the 3 hypotheses were confirmed. Further, we found out that nurses do not care about prevention of illnesses possibly resulting from high physical load. The theses results should help in increasing the nurses? awareness, I suggest its integration into human back school program.

Support of Semantics in CMS Drupal

The work concern about the support of semantics in known content managing systems. It is describing the possibilities of use for these technologies and their public accessibility. We find out, that today's technologies and methods are in the state of public inducting. In the question of semantic support in CMS Drupal we developed a tool for extending its support of semantic formats. This tool allows CMS Drupal to export its information in a Topic Maps format. For this it uses the XTM file.

Analýza postupu správce daně při posuzování převodních cen mezi spojenými osobami

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit metody a postupy, které v současnosti využívá český správce daně při posuzování převodních cen a zanalyzovat právní podmínky pro oblast převodních cen v České republice. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části. První část se zabývá legislativou převodních cen a jejím cílem je poskytnout přehled veřejně dostupné legislativní prameny, které se vztahují na převodní ceny v podmínkách České republiky. Druhá část má za cíl analyzovat postupy správce daně při daňové kontrole v souvislosti s převodními cenami prostřednictvím konkrétního skutečného případu.

Zdena Fibichová (1933-1991)

The sculptress, Zdena Fibichová (1933 - 1991) belonged to post-war generation, which has emerged at the end of 1950's on the Czech art scene. Times of her studies on VŠUP (Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design) with Josef Wagner, was crucial for her evolution as a sculptress. Here she found not only her great example in the persona of her teacher, but she also met other artists, who shared her art tendencies and also, became her lifetime friends. In 1959, with her fellow students, Olbram Zoubek, Eva Kmentová and Vladimír Preclík (who she married), she joined the "Trasa 54". Along with this group, Zdena Fibichová, has exhibited on all collective exhibitions, not only in the 60's, but also after the revolution. Zdena Fibichová was influenced by many leading art trends at home and in Europe. She was oriented mainly to modern english sculpturing. Vitally important was her first study trip to Vence in south of France, where she became familiar with ceramic clay, later her prevailing material. Expression through more or less numerous cycles, was typical for the artist, which is emphasized by multiple approaches to a single artistic theme. So she created series of sculptures, significant by gradual reduction heading towards abstract shapes. This process escalated in the end of the 60's in the Stele and Pulpits...

Home care of the patient with a total hip replacement

Cílem této bakalářké práce bylo zpracování případové studie ošetřovatelské péče po totální endoprotéze kyčelního kloubu u pacientky F.J. (78 let) v jejím domácím prostředí. Pacientce byla implantována náhrada kyčelního kloubu pro zlomeninu krčku femuru. Práce má klinickou a ošetřovatelskou část. Na začátku klinické části je uvedena anatomie kyčelního kloubu, dále se zabývám zlomeninami proximálního femuru a jejich řešením. Následuje stručná historie totálních endoprotéz kyčelního kloubu, jejich typy a možné komplikace. V ošetřovatelské části je zmíněna charakteristika ošetřovatelského procesu s využitím jednotlivých fází ošetřovatelského procesu podle koncepčního modelu Marjory Gordonové. Informace o pacientce byly získány na základě rozhovoru s pacientkou a jejím přítelem, vlastním pozorováním, sledováním fyziologických funkcí a čerpáním z dostupné dokumentace. Jejich vyhodnocením jsem stanovila aktuální i potenciální ošetřovatelské diagnózy, včetn plánu ošetřovatelské péče, jeho realizací a hodnocením péče. Dále uvádím dlouhodobý plán ošetřovatelské péče a hodnocení psychického stavu pacientky. Edukace pacientky a následná prognóza ukončuje ošetřovatelskou část bakalářské práce.
