MV Overhead Line Protections and their Coordination with Autoreclosers
Šoustal, Petr ; Skala, Petr (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s Thesis is to describe protections for overhead lines in distribution networks. Here are described requirements for the protection and the basic protections. Protections are divided according to their protective function. For each protection is given its use and its power plans. It is stated in the work setting of protection in the real network. On this network is simulated place with short-circuit and described the action of protection. The work also deals with the coordination of protection with automatic circuit breakers. This chapter shows that, given the selectivity is not possible to deploy two or more reclosers (remotely-operated switches) to the core network management. The next chapter describes two representatives reclosers available on the Czech market OSM 27 and GVR 27. Chapter describes and compares their performance characteristics. Conclusion the work includes a proposal protected the lead in incorporating automatic circuit breakers (remotely operated circuit breakers and reclosers). The proposal is based on two different levels of annual number of interruptions and duration of annual general interruption of electricity supply. For these levels the company EGÚ Brno, a.s. proposed several variants of the use of remote-controlled in terms of reducing the cost of the penalty. Our task was to choose a variant that would be applicable in the real network. Reducing costs is feasible only in the limits Ln = 6 failures / year and Lt = 720 min / year, where the selected option No. 4. The limits Ln = 8 failures / year and Lt = 1,080 min / year, not in the real network may no option in terms of selectivity.
Effects of assembling on quality of cable systems
Konvalinka, Vladimír ; Dostál, Otto (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with questions of measuring of cabling systems. There is described the evolution of structured cabling including the rules of their installation, approval and their final measurement. The first part of this work is dedicated to the conception of structured cabling and its history which originated at the beginning of 80s when the first personal computers began to appear at the market. The necessity of mutual communication of their users caused forceful development of networks and technologies. As a result lots of single-purpose, incompatible and mutual independent cabled distributions were developed. This method of cabling was uneconomical, very demanding on service and impractical for network expansion. That’s why the universal cabled system was developed whose baseline became a twisted pair. Characteristics of structured cablings are designed in order it could be possible to transmit whole rang of applications through them. Metallic cables and nowadays also optical cables are used for their installation. The cabling system consists of lots of other items among them we can rank items active and stable. It’s necessary to scale lots of criteria which involve the quality of data transmission in this network. The measurement is done by the devices which comply with basic requirements determined by the standards according to technology. There are described the rules and proper processes of installing cabling systems, which should be followed while installations. At the end of my thesis there are mentioned the results of the measurements on simulation segments of cabling system which serve as completion certificates between an installation company and a consumer.
Effect of optical connectors quality on transmission
Bernkopf, Miroslav ; Křepelka, Václav (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with optic fiber connectors and their influence on transmissions realized via fiber optics. Optical fibers and lightguides play the key role in telecommunications because of constant demands of higher bandwidth and data rates. Original metalic wires do not meet market requirements and so the fiber optics are more and more being used. There are various types of fibers and there are also many ways of connections. This work deals with demountable way of connection – optical connectors, which have the biggest influence on a total attenuation and route length. Connector has to meet various requirements such as cleannes, quality, mechanical construction and ferrule polishing.
Graph theory and its applications
Huclová, Alena ; Karásek, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
It is often necessary to be oriented in the complicated relations between parts of a unit. This problem can be solved by the graphs’ theory very well. Graph G is an ordered pair (V,E) where V is a non-empty set of vertices (our parts of the unit) and E is a set of two-element subsets of the set V called arcs (i.e. relations between parts of the unit). G= (V,E) The graph aplication is frequently hidden. It is not found in the solution of the problem, but could be used to express and substantiate it quite easily. In my work I will deal with optimization problems of a graph. Problem of the maximum network flow that we solve using directed graph can be an example. As for non-directed graphs, we will be interested in the search of a minimum frame of a graph.
Computer networks, theirs security and overcoming of that security
Zikeš, Tomáš ; Přibil, Jiří (advisor) ; Bína, Vladislav (referee)
Main goals of this diploma thesis is to chart methods used to secure wireless internet networks a test those methods through attack on access point of wireless network with target to receive password to access this network and decryption of captured packets. For charting of types of security measures used for wireless network, I performed a series of measurements in field on different places in Czech Republic and Germany. Primary purpose of mesurements performed in Germany is caomparison of results from Germany with results from Czech Republic. Also, I tried to crack the security measures i controlled environment. Due to illegality of this experiment I used my own network and network that belongs o one of my friends who agreed with the experiment. In the end is the presentation of results of field measurements and cracking attempts along with some tips for network security.
Proposal of computer network in chosen organization
KOMRSKA, Roman
Main objective of this thesis is proposing quality computer network for chosen organization. This thesis is divided to two parts - theoretical part and practival part. In theoretical part there is summarized the most important information about computer networks. Practical part contains information about main proposal, where is summarized how can be computer network proposed.
Evaluation of the impact of engineering networks to the project comprehensive landscaping
DOUCHOVÁ, Kateřina
This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of engineering networks. It includes a literature review that describes a landscaping, easements and a description of different types of utilities and impassable obstacles. The aim of this work is description of utilities in the cadastral Kochánov which is situated in the distrikt of Havlíčkův Brod. In this area I find out which plots are concerned by the utilities and what they can cause.
Cloud computing: Overview of available solutions
Feňko, Marek ; Margaris, Nikos (advisor) ; Burkoň, Lukáš (referee)
The paper Works describes concept of cloud computing, his main characteristics. Cloud computing is new trend in IT. The company doesn't have your own servers and data centres, but everything is situated in cloud -- in set of pc and server. The owners of these are suppliers of these services. The aim of the thesis is defined Cloud Computing concepts and evaluate by criterion if cloud computing application can compete to classic application. Introduction of the Works describe the gist of cloud computing, the models of cloud and history. The main part of the Works is about the suppliers. The last chapter is dedicated to evaluation of applications of cloud computing by comparison with other application.
Broadband Possibilities in the Czech Republic
Imbr, Ivan ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Kalina, Jaroslav (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with a broadband internet access. It approaches each internet access technology. It describes and analyzes two different locations in the Czech Republic, in which it tries to describe and compare the availability of these technologies and their real quality. In conclusion, the thesis compares the current high-speed connection with other available.
Social networks in corporate practice
Špegárová, Viktória ; Khelerová, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Chylíková, Hana (referee)
This bachelor thesis shows the possibilities of Internet marketing with a narrow focus on social networks, concretely on the possibility of marketing communication on social network Facebook.com. The first part is talking about basic terms in marketing, especially Internet marketing. The next chapter is dealing with issues of social networks, their definition and the most popular social networks. Then it is talking in detail about Facebook.com and its possibilities in the field of marketing. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to a case study of marketing on social network Facebook.com for company North Training Ltd. with review of current situation and solutions, that I am offering to improve marketing of this company on Facebook.com .
