Monitoring interference in the mains supply
Jirčík, Zdeněk ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This semester thesis describes design of electronic device adapted to monitoring of mains supply. Theoretical parts describes mains supply analysis, communication and management of files to memory. Next part is design electronics blocks and their cooperation. There are description of mains analyzer prototype and it’s parts and functions. Prototype was submitted to test measurement.
Antenna preamplifier for EMI measurements
Sedlák, Milan ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the design of a low noise preamplifier operating in the frequency range from 30 MHz to 1 GHz, usable for measuring and testing of electromagnetic interference in the electromagnetic compatibility test rooms. The introductory, theoretical, part is focused on the analysis and description of the necessary properties of the low noise preamplifier required for the subsequent design. The practical part deals with the selection of suitable components, simulation, design and subsequent realization of low noise preamplifier. At the end of the thesis the design and the final verification measurements are described and discussed.
EMS Testing
Dušek, Michal ; Hoder, Karel (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with electromagnetic compatibility. Beginning of this thesis is devoted to general problems of EMC. Next part refers of the various tests for robustness. The next chapter deals with device Seaward Mace and a more detailed description of the resistance tests. The last part describes the test apparatus and implementation tests in the laboratory measurement of the Institute of Electrical Control and Instrumentation FEEC
Testing and measurement EMC
Bartoň, Jiří ; Hoder, Karel (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on a problem field of electronic compability as a whole - both the technical and biological side. Each legislative requirements and regulations of EMC are analyzed in this thesis Part of thesis is to design a test procedure for verification of EMC information technology equipment (ITE). Practical work is devoted to an overview and implementation of EMS according to the applicable test standards in the laboratory measurement of the Institute of Electrical Control and Instrumentation FEEC and services in the Research Institute in Brno.
SAE J2716 SENT protocol signal driver
Mutina, Petr ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of SENT protocol output driver for automotive applications. Output driver is designed with respect to variability of output capacitance (in rage from 0 to 10 nF). Important feature of output driver is output signal shaping to limit electromagnetic interference. First chapter deals with theoretical analysis, current solution is discussed too. Second chapter of this thesis is focused on design of concept. In third chapter design of output driver is discussed, in last chapter simulation results of the design are presented.
Numerical analysis of the lightning on small aircraft
Krutílek, David ; Ochodnický, Ján (referee) ; Dražan, Libor (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This dissertation deals with the numerical analysis of effects of a lightning strike on an aircraft and with the design of the optimal composition of the composite structure in terms of lightning strike protection. When optimizing the composition, a simplified model of the composite nose section of an EV-55 aircraft is used. The optimization of the composite structure is based on results of experimental measurements and testing. On the simplified model of the nose part, the material composition of the composite is verified and the direct and indirect effects of the lightning discharge are numerically estimated
Electromagnetic compatibility of tram equipment
Gavshin, Ruslan ; Jarolín, Zdeněk (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of EMC of tram vehicles and traction system. The first chapter defines the issues that are then dealt with in the thesis. The next chapter lists the objectives of the work. Subsequent chapters analyze the issues described in chapter 2. In the last chapter, a flow chart is proposed, which should serve as a tool to estimate the hazards of the traction drive due to induced bearing currents.
Measurement system of Ripple Control (RC) signals
Čurda, Pavel ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The thesis deals with the introduction of the measuring instrument SVA - M on the market for compliance with electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety requirements. Furthermore it deals with determination of measuring accuracy instrument SVA - M and measurement uncertainties. For the determination of accuracy there is a theoretical analysis and subsequent practical measurements.
Service device for automatic sanitary equipment
Kudláček, Martin ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to inform readers about the basic principle of electronics for which the service module for the automatic sanitary technique will be designed, as well as design and describe the most important parts of the module theoretically. Likewise, the thesis deals with the most common mistakes in the design of printed circuits boards with respect to the resistance of the resulting device against interference. The implementation itself includes both module design and a communication algorithm for connecting multiple service modules and their remote control using the Raspberry Pi minicomputer. The thesis also contains a design of algorithm for verification of data transmission by the transmission system.
