This diploma thesis deals with the creation of interactive tools for 3D computer graphics. The introduction of the thesis focuses on general theory of curves and surfaces and its mathematical description. The topics of Geometric transformation, Perspective projection and Parametric description of 3-dimensional surface are analysed in more detail. The successive chapter deals with the subject of visualisation of spatial objects in Java platform interface. The practical part describes the implementation of individual applets. JAVA programming language, which uses the library functions JOGL, was employed for the very realization of the interactive tools. The goal of the diploma thesis is the creation of a set of interactive applets in the field of computer graphics. These applets will be placed on the website of the faculty and they will serve students of VUT in Brno to improve the quality of education.

In the time period from November to April of the academic year 2007/2008 presence of mercury and its forms was monitored in the waste waters of Faculty of Chemistry, VUT in Brno. The level of mercury was determined as total mercury with help of the atomic absorption spectrometry method and in available forms by diffusive gradient in thin film technique.

Study of sensoric properties of organic semiconductors
Saska, Pavel ; Šedina, Martin (referee) ; Salyk, Ota (advisor)
Compounds based on diketopyrrolopyrrole are organic pigments that behave as semi-conductors. Their analogues with pyridyl side group are due to their sensitivity to hydrogen potentially useful as hydrogen sensors. The aim of this work was to examine properties of sensors with an active layer of diketopyrollopyrolle derivatives. The sensors were tested on an apparatus built for this purpose at FCH VUT in Brno. More specifically, changes to conductivity of these sensors in the presence of hydrogen under various conditions were studied.

SMS Enterprise Premises
Zatloukalová, Veronika ; Suchánek,, Petr (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Novotný, Miloslav (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis focuses on small and medium-size enterprise (SMEs) premises situated near the Kšírova Street in Brno. The construction area is to be found in the city district Horní Heršpice. The nearest surroundings are characterised by a multifunctional neighbourhood. At the same time, the new planned city district is taken into consideration. The area intended for reconstruction has recently served as a builder´s yard. The designed construction is composed of two buildings and its location on the plot enables it to form a city block. Both buildings are designed as a four-storey, one of the buildings are located underground parking. There are main entrance hall, production areas with facilities, eating facilities offices and a car park in the buildings. The access to individual production units is from outside back porches. There is an inner yard between the two buildings that is going to be used partly for supplying and partly to rest. The street facades are compact character, austere space is lined CETRIS plates, strip windows are placed in fixed horizontal and vertical lines.

Multifunctional building Cow Mountain
Šlesingrová, Denisa ; Ing. arch. Petra Žalmanová, Ph.D (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
The multifunctional edifice in Kraví hora, Brno, Veveří is designed as a new building with sports-recreational function (a climbing center, a scout club room). It also has a social function (a restaurant). The building is situated in a flat lanscape on the top of Kraví hora. The building is designed as single-storey house with a flat, vegetation roof, except of the climbing wall, which is higher and it`s a dominant feature of the whole compound. Load-bearing construction of the building is formed by a wooden skeleton system. The climbing wall has a wooden load-bearing construction combined with a monolithic reinforced concrete wall.

Title: Synthesis of 1,4-phosphonic and phosphinic acid derivatives of cyclen Author: Bc. Jiří Bárta Department: Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Science Supervisor: Doc. RNDr. Jan Kotek, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail adress: modrej@natur.cuni.cz Abstract This thesis is focused on synthesis of diphosphonic and diphosphinic derivatives of cyclen at 1,4 positions as potential MRI contrast agents. Preparation of 1,4-dibenzylcyclen was optimized in a gramme scale for synthesis of derivatives mentioned above. 1,4-dibenzyl-7,10-bis(diethylphosphonomethyl)cyclen was prepared in a gramme scale. It's fully hydrolyzed and monoester forms were prepared. 1,4-bis(diethylphosphonomethyl)cyclen was synthesized. It's fully hydrolyzed and monoester forms were synthesized. 1,4-dibenzyl-7,10- bis(phosphinomethyl)cyclen was synthesized. The carboxylic function in ester form was attached on diesterphosphonic derivative of cyclen. Altogether 8 derivatives in positions 1,4 and 7,10 of cyclen was prepared, mostly in a gramme scale and with a high yield. All compounds were characterized by NMR and MS. Key words: cyclen, phosphonate, phosphinate, sythesis, MRI

Molekulové simulace nukleace ledu
Pluhařová, Eva ; Kolafa, Jiří (referee) ; Jungwirth, Pavel (advisor)
Title: Molecular simulations of ice nucleation Author: Eva Pluhařová Department: Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry Faculty of Science UK Advisor: doc. Mgr. Pavel Jungwirth, DSc., IOCB AS CR, v.v.i. Advisor's e-mail address: pavel.jungwirth@uochb.cas.cz Abstract: By means of molecular dynamics simulations we have systematically investigated homogeneous ice nucleation in neat and surface contaminated water. As models of the adsorbates we have assumed pentanol and pentanoic acid. In neat water nucleation preferentially starts in the subsurface region, which accommodates better than the bulk the volume increase associated with freezing. Homogeneous ice nucleation is affected more by alcohol than by acid. Water slabs covered by a disordered layer of pentanol exhibit negligible preference for subsurface nucleation and longer nucleation times in comparison with neat water, while nucleation times are almost unaffected by the presence of pentanoic acid and the subsurface preference is only slightly decreased. We tried to rationalize the differences between the effects of different compounds by their ability to orient water molecules and to change their mobility. The fact that adsorbates differ in the influence on homogeneous ice nucleation has important implications for the microphysics of...
