An introduction to sociology of theatre
Za všechny uveďme mezinárodní organizaci FIRT/IFTR (Fédération Internationale pour la Recherche Théatral/International Federation for Theatre Research) nebo mezinárodní asociaci SIBMAS (Société Internacionale des Bibliotheques et Musees des Arts du Spectacle, International Association of Librairies and Museums of the Performing Arts).

The main task of this diploma thesis is making design of furniture without using metal and glued joints with the use of unconventional machining method. The theoretic base of the whole thesis is characteristic of individual unconventional machining methods with its historical development, machining principle, description of machinery, description of general utilization and utilization in the area of furniture production. In the next part I'm discussing diversity of joining techniques and their use for the design of folding furniture, either with demountable fittings or with joinery, carpenter or other joints. In the final part of this work space is devoted to my own design of folding furniture (armchair) where I also focus on individual constructions of seating furniture and compliance of relevant anthropometric and ergonomic dimensions for its realisation.

Artificial neural networks and their application in the assessment of insurance risks
Macek, Karel ; Jiroutek, Pavel (referee) ; Mrázová, Iveta (advisor)
The present work studies applicability of artificial neural networks in the assessment of insurance risk. Structure and function of multilayer perceptrons, Kohonen maps, Fuzzy ART networks, and Fuzzy ARTMAP networks are described. Concept of insurance risk is defined and the ratemaking by generalized linear models is introduced. Neural networks' methods for reduction of input space's dimension, knowledge extraction, and visualization are summed up. Data describing traffic accidents are acquainted and results achieved on them are presented. The work successfully demonstrates theoretically and experimentally that multilayer perceptrons approximate better than generalized linear models. Modification of multilayer perceptron estimated distribution function of total claim. Analysis performed by Kohonen map and by subsequent visualization detected two significant clusters. Analysis by Fuzzy ART network is presented as a part of new algorithm for reduction of input space's dimension. New algorithm inspired by Fuzzy ARTMAP network discovered a group of accidents where the claim is above average. This group is delimited by interpretable rules. Attached CD contains scripts for Matlab and MySQL that was used for mentioned analyses.

Needs of organizations in the health and social sphere in getting volunteers
VERNEROVÁ, Barbora
This diploma thesis deals with an issue of a volunteering from a perspective of organizations operating in the health-social area, specifically in terms of their needs in an implementation of the volunteering. The research was conducted in Teplice region. Two years ago within the bachelor thesis there was carried out an analysis here, whose results the current research builds on. The aim of the diploma thesis was to find out which are the needs of organizations in the health-social area with getting the volunteers. The theoretical part is devoted to definitions of concepts relating to the volunteering in the health-social area. It defines a concept of the organization in the health-social area, it also deals with concepts of the volunteering and the volunteer. Other chapters were devoted to the volunteering in the health-social area and a management of the volunteering. There does not miss a chapter dedicated to the needs of a man, a volunteer and an organization. The conclusion describes the current state of the volunteering in the region of Teplice. The whole issue was explored through a quantitative research. The main method used to gather the necessary data was questioning, a technique of a semi-structured interview. Partial research questions were answered by an analysis of these interviews. The thesis presents needs of organizations in the health-social area associated with getting of the volunteers. In particular, a necessity for a greater awareness about the whole issue of the volunteering, higher numbers of active volunteers in the region, a need of a staffing to be able to manage these activities in a person of a volunteers´ coordinator and together with it associated funds. In conclusion the author tries to outline contexts and possible solutions for the development of the volunteering in Teplice region.

CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE Faculty of Law Institute of Copyright, Industrial Property Rights and Competition Law DOCTORAL DISSERTATION The Evolution and the Limits of the Copyright Protection in the Global Information Society ABSTRACT Author: Mgr. Alena Andruško Supervisor: Prof. JUDr. Dr. iur. h. c. Jan Kříž, CSc. Field of Study: Civil Law Theoretical Legal Science Year: 2015 ABSTRACT Copyright law is one of the branches of law that has become, with the development of the Internet, the center of interest for different types of stakeholders in the global information society. With the evolution of "Web 2.0", sometimes called the "Participative Web", represented by user-generated content (UGC), and also with the evolution of peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing and recently cyberlockers, the effectiveness of copyright protection online has become a problem where solutions can be found only with difficulty. Online copyright infringement is a complex phenomenon with a multiplicity of contributing factors. To see and understand these factors one must not only know and understand the territorial and international legal rules governing copyright, but also know and understand the online ecosystem in which copyright infringement takes place, which is impossible without knowing the history, evolution and technical...

Sperm acrosomal reactien in selected species of mammals
Frolíková, Michaela ; Stopka, Pavel (advisor) ; Jonáková, Věra (referee) ; Petr, Jaroslav (referee)
Mammalian sperm must undergo the process of capacitation - series of physiological and biochemical modifications prior fertilization. In last stage of capacitation sperm undergoes acrosome reaction (AR). During AR the cell membrane of the sperm fuses with the outer acrosomal membrane and the contents of acrosomal vesicle are released into extracellular space. Sperm which did not undergo AR or sperm missing acrosome at all are unable to fertilize. AR results into dramatical changes in the sperm head. Most of the proteins present in plasmatic and outer acrosomal membrane are reorganized or lost. There are also significant changes in cytoskeletal and intraacrosomal proteins are released to extracellular space uncovering new surface domains. Some sperms undergo AR even without presence of inductor of AR during capacitation in vitro. This event is called spontaneous (accelerated) AR. The latest research indicates that spontaneous AR is natural part of the process of fertilization. Field mice (Apodemus) show high level of promiscuity leading to significant risk of sperm competition. Unique reproduction strategy where the sperms form so-called sperm trains was evolved in field mice. Spontaneous AR is probably enabling the dissociation of sperms from the sperm train. The spontaneous AR rate is dependent on...
