International trademark protection

The diploma thesis gives the view of international trademark protection chiefly through its legal regulation in international agreements and through regulation' s application to the praxis. The thesis is divided according to particular sorts of rights (trademarks, marks of origin, unsigned marks), it consider their concrete regulation, international organizations protecting the rights and trademarks rights enforcement. The aim of the diploma thesis is to explain and to show the basic principles of international trademark protection functioning on concrete cases and decisions and therefore to offer the help to those subjects, who need to orientate themselves at the area of international trademark protection.

Foreign direct investments from Republic of Korea into the EU (especially into The Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia)

Presented thesis is focused on the nature of Korean direct investments in European Union, especially in the new central European member states (The Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia). The major task of thesis is to clarify, which Korean companies invest in central Europe and why do these companies locate their investments in new member states. Additionally, character of existing investments is analyzed. Thesis is divided into three main parts. Firstly, the explanation of development of Korean multinationals is provided. The main question of second part is why Korean multinationals invest in Europe and what the impact of European economic integration is. In the third part, distribution of Korean investments in central Europe is demonstrated. Both the nature of foreign direct investments and the effect of economic integration are analyzed from theoretical perspective first. Subsequently, theoretical concepts are applied on real data. Answer to all three main questions (which, why and how) will provide insight into future development of Korean direct investments in central Europe (middle- and long-term perspective).

Corporate culture of international enterprises in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis focuses on the relatively difficult issue of organizational culture, national culture and the effect they have to each other. It seems there is very extensive space for this theme in literature for the first sight, but the fact is that comprehensive view of it is missing. It is not easy for students to find out the rate effect of the national culture on the organizational culture in actual available literature. This thesis propound to give comprehensive view of this issue. It compares the results of literature review and three case studies in the concrete organizations. It should shown a rate effect that foregin parent enterprises have on the Czech branches in the sense of organizational culture. Marketing conception of floorball brand

The main objektive of this thesis is to analyze the market position of floorball brand Canadien and to suggest improvements for marketing conception of Charlies and Co. company (exclusive distributor of brand Canadien in the Czech Republic). The theoretical part analyses czech floorball market, divides it into different segments and presents the results of marketing research specialized on evaluation of the main floorball brands in the Czech Republic. The most important information about the market and the brand Canadien are summarized in Swot analysis. The end of the thesis is devoted to suggestion of appropriate future brand strategy and concrete steps for each part of the marketing mix.

Family of a Child with a Mental Disability - Entry into the World of Adults

This diploma work is directed to the life of the family with a child with mental handicap in the time, when the child finished his compulsory school attendance and should enter the adult's world. Teoretical part pays attention to family and its function, since the birth of the child with mental handicap. Parts of parents, brothers and sisters and grandparents. Next part is about maturing a about problems of young people with mental handicap in this time. By the way of life story practical part shows lifes of four concrete families and their specifics in time, when their child enters the next life stages colled maturity. This 4 stories are able to compare with life story of a woman with mental handicap, who had gone throught this time 25 years ago. Main attention is devoted to the real possibilities and to the life perspectives of this families and of their children.

EU legislation about working conditions of drivers operating in international haulage

The aim of the work is a detailed analysis of EU legislation (e. g. orders and regulation, direction and their transposition to the czech law) concerned with working conditions of drivers, enterpreneurs and all other persons operating in international road transport. A special emphasise is placed on the latest regulation form in this sphere (EU order number 561/2006), which brought the current changes. The work provides a comprehensive overview of the current legislative and shows the impacts of the new changes in practice. Beyond, it demonstrates and explains some concrete situations and problems from the working routine, that are dealed daily by the drivers, forwarding agents, transporters and the proprietors of transport companies as well.

Solving and methods of debtor’s failure

The Bachelor thesis is divided to two main chapters. The emphasis in the first chapter is placed on particular parts of insolvency law. The second chapter deals with concrete manners of solving debtor's failure from the accounting and law view. This part of the thesis is subdivided to three other parts (concretely reorganisation, bankruptcy and discharge of debts). Partial examples are added in this thesis.

History interpretation in Fred Wander's literary works

II Title History interpretation in Fred Wander's literary works Abstract The topic of this diploma thesis is an interpretation of events during the Second World War in Fred Wander's literary work, an important representative of German written literature in the past century. The first chapter presents Fred Wander's life and work and is based on Wander's own autobiography and interviews. The following chapters are dedicated to individual analysis of his three writings: Der siebente Brunnen, Ein Zimmer in Paris and Hotel Baalbek. Wander especially focuses on mediating concrete personal life stories during that epoch. Hotel Haalbek work captures a situation during the first years of the war in the southern France. Der siebente Brunnen describes prisoners' lives in a concentration camp. Wander dedicates Ein Zimmer in Paris work to the topic of how to cope with war experience. The main target of this diploma thesis is about an interpretation of selected themes which are crucial for the mentioned works. Liquidation of business corporations in the Czech republic

This thesis deals with the liquidation of business corporations in the Czech Republic. The whole course of the liquidation from voluntary decision itself to deletion from the Commercial Register is considered from the financial, tax and legal perspective. There are descripted the duties and rights of the liquidator and the possibility of transition from liquidation in insolvency proceedings. The findings are in the practical part demonstrated on concrete examples selected from the Commercial Register.
