The bachelor thesis deals with morals and ethics of accountants, it defines relationship between morality and law, analyzes the ethical code of professional accountants and its individual parts. It deals with the its goals, ethical principles and clarifies importance of the ethical code. The work defines some forms of internal frauds and it demonstrate selected forms of internal frauds on practical examples. The text deals with confidentiality of accountants. It explains the application of noncompete agreements and discusses the problem of the morality of their use.
Code of ethics of employees in public administration - international recommendations and the Czech republic

This thesis deals with the ethics code of civil servants, particularly in the Czech republic Government Resolution of 21 March 2001 No. 270 + P Code of Ethics for employees in public administration and the Code of Ethics of officials and public employee May 2012. Comparison made seeks to answer the question to what extent the international recommendations of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the Council of Europe were introduced into the Czech Code of Ethics. The first chapter focuses on the theoretical concept itself of corruption. In the second chapter is further described anti-corruption Ethics Code as an instrument of personal character, and recommendations for its content from the OECD and the Council of Europe. The third chapter is a comparison of the fulfillment of international recommendations in the Code of ethics of civil servants. The work concerns with ethical demands of auditing profession. The first part is pointed to general evolution in ethics. The second part deals with auditor's work, with its progress, aim and meaning. The third part describes laws and the ethical code of auditing profession. And finally, in the fourth part are mentioned accounting scandals, which happened in the past. It describes the role of audit firms and what impact it has for them.
Ethics in healthcare

Our health is what we value most. Medicine as a scientific branch has made a great step forward in the last decades. Due to this fact, the demographical structure of inhabitants changed significantly. People reach higher age, we are able to treat diseases, which used to cause death. Nevertheless, we are not anymore in a phase, when financial costs equal treatment needed for all people in Czech Republic. Therefore, the topic Ethics in healthcare is an actual one. The aim of this thesis is the description and following analysis of actual problems in Czech healthcare. There are stated the main problems in Czech healthcare, where the relationship between ethics and economics is mostly visible. The proposal for improving the actual situation, is to extend the Ethical code of Czech Medical Chamber, as the document, which brings the main ethical standards in healthcare. The next proposal for improving the actual situation in Czech healthcare, is to make new ethical codes for different medical specialties. It is also advised to place the Ethical code of Czech Medical Chamber on visible places. The used method is compilation of literature and interviews with professionals and medics for analytical approaches. In this thesis, data from Czech Institution for Health Information and Statistics are used. There are also used articles form healthcare magazines and from general periodicals.
Corporate culture of the company Skanska

The main objective of this work is to describe and analyse the corporate culture of the company Skanska. The work is divided into two chapters. The first part deals with the term "culture" and its four functions. Furthermore, the first chapter of the thesis also focuses on understanding culture from the view of different authors. This part also defines the meaning of corporate culture, its functions, its determinants and the strong corporate culture. There is also explained what a corporate social responsibility is. The second part of this thesis is related to the company Skanska a. s. in the Czech Republic. Readers are acquainted with its history, its organization, goals setting based on the SMART rule and with the Skanska's five zeros vision. In addition reader learns about the recruitment process, Great Boss Index, the Code of Conduct and about the sustainable development. The conclusion of this part is made up of my own questionnaire survey.
Corporate culture of Česká zbrojovka a.s.

This thesis deals with the issue of corporate culture from both practical and theoretical point of view. The theoretical part explains the essence of corporate culture, its determinants and changes in corporate culture as well as terms such as corporate identity,corporate image and business ethics. The practical part focuses specifically on corporate culture of the company Česká zbrojovka a.s. This part analyses separate elements of corporate culture such as CSR, ethics code, motivation and remuneration of employees or dress code.
The ethics code and the meaning of professional ethics

Each profession has its own competence. Some of them are protected by law, other is governed by the code of ethics. Its code of ethics has doctors, nurses, journalists, workers in public administration and other. Theoretical part of my thesis I will give a definition of the code of ethics based on the literature. I would like to further specify the professions that are subject to the code of the ethics. In my thesis I chose the profession teachers, doctors and nurses. In the practical part I will try to find understanding, respect and the importance of a code of ethics in these professions. For that finding I will use a questionnaire which will evaluate the information.
