CZECH AVANATGARDE AND BOOK ILLUSTRATION

CZECH AVANT-GARDE AND BOOK ILLUSTRATION Diploma thesis deals with a book illustration creation of Czech avant-garde creators of 20's and 30's of 20th century. In the first chapter, there is defined a concept of avant- garde and it devotes itself relation of Czech avant-garde artists to book. There is emphasized a change of social function and visual form of book. Following chapters discuss book illustration creation of individual authors. At first there is analyzed an illustration work of Jan Zrzavý, Josef Čapek, František Muzika, František Tichý and Adolf Hoffmeister. Their creation is devided according to the main features to chapters devoted to modernist classicism, primitivism and expressionism, poetic figuration and simplification the figure to a sign. Seperate chapter is devoted to illustrations of children books. It defines a place of children book in Czech art between the wars and it devotes to main authors of illustration for children: Josef Čapek, Toyen, Milada Marešová, František Tichý and František Janoušek. Art of Magnetic Tape Music

The thesis "Art of Magnetic Tape Music" is dedicated to the genesis of the art of music magnetic tape and its effects on the development of modern music. Through a detailed survey of texts dealing with related issues and preserved audio recordings from around the world, the work seeks to map the importance of magnetic carriers, which inherently has helped the creation of electroacoustic music and also development of pop music. Special emphasis is placed on the fifties and sixties of the twentieth century, when the methods of audio recordings manipulation were developing rapidly and were used for compositional practice which at that time was experiencing numerous innovations and technological development. Described is a generally accepted typology, methodology used and the specific design of equipment needed for sound work with a magnetic medium. Marginal survival technique for the magnetic tape manipulation in the global audio digitization at the turn of the millennium is also taken into account.

The analysis of religious tourism in the Pardubický region

This thesis deals with the analysis of potential of the Pardubický region for religious tourism. Its main aim is to create an overview of religious monuments and festivities in the Pardubický region and of their current use in tourism and to suggest how to further support the development of religious tourism in the region. The thesis focuses on catholic and protestant monuments and of religious festivities it deals mainly pilgrimages. In the first part the Pardubický region is characterized and its potential for tourism. The second part includes an outline of the historical development of the Czech lands, with an emphasis on church history, an overview of the most important religious monuments in the Pardubický region and of their current use in tourism. The third part presents the current national projects, which promote religious tourism, and assesses the current presentation and promotion of religious monuments in the Pardubický region. The last part contains suggestions for further utilization of religious monuments in tourism and their promotion, as well as a few ideas for creation of thematic tourist routes. The conclusion discusses barriers, that prevent better use of religious monuments in tourism.

Legal tools for the protection of diplomatic missions and representations.

Legal instruments of protection of diplomatic missions and representatives This diploma thesis thematically deals with public international law, namely with the law of diplomatic and consular relations focusing on the legal instruments of the protection of diplomatic missions and representations. It aims to analyze selected international legal instruments and to evaluate the effectiveness of protection provided by them. The first chapter deals with the right of a sovereign state to establish diplomatic relations, i. e. ius legationis. Briefly mentioned are attempts to unofficial codification of the law of diplomatic and consular relations, which preceeded the official codification of the Vienna Convention, which are developed by the International Law Commission. The bulk of the chapter is devoted to the process of creation and adoption of both the Vienna Conventions. In the second chapter are analyzed those provisions of Vienna conventions, which provide preventative protection to diplomatic agents and consular officers as well as to premises of diplomatic missions and representatives. Surveying for creating a thematical map of an open-air museum in Rožnov p. R. - part 1.

This bachelor's thesis is concerned with creating of purpose-built map. To be more specific, it is a geodetic survey of Valašské museum in the natural area in Rožnov pod Radhošťem, including ground plan formation and sections of chosen building. Within the scope of the map there are height ratios as well as positional ratios considered. This work describes an overall procedure for map creation on a scale 1:500.

The Atlas of Tourism in South Bohemia

The target of this bachelor thesis is to show various possibilities of using geographical information systems for cartography outputs in tourism. The thesis is aimed at drawing up several thematic maps into an atlas of tourism in the South Bohemian region. The thesis begins with a brief characterizing of concepts, such as tourism, cartography, thematic cartography and geographic information systems. The principal part of the bachelor thesis includes collecting and preparing spatial data as a basis for creation of the final atlas of tourism in ArcGIS. The atlas contains commented thematic maps in the area of South Bohemian region. The maps refer to several statistical data of tourism, to chosen natural, cultural and historical tourism attractions, then particular maps illustrate chosen aspects of infrastructure (especially accommodation capacities, tourist information centres, transport facilities). It's possible to use the outcome of this bachelor thesis as a basis for other thesis, as a basis for education or as an inspiration source for tourists.

The apology of sliding movement. Philosophical interpretation of the novel of Hermann Hesse Der Steppenwolf

The core work is a philosophical interpretation of the novel by H. Hesse 'Steppenwolf, but as a whole this work is an attempt to develop a broader context of literary works. Therefore, the constitutive part of the game as thematization philosophical problems (including issues understanding the world and each other in understanding the meaning of the rules of the game) thematization artistic creation in relation to mimesis and in particular the presentation of a performance practice that is not a commentary, nor the contents and is more in developing motion amplification. The first part is a philosophical analysis of the concept of the game with regard to its basic characteristics, aspects, forms (especially the extreme form of the game - Carnival), and provide specifics of the game - in a sense, slipping after the fact. "The second part develops interpretive possibilities Hesse steppe wolf, which tracks the movement of the game through the lens' individual moments of this work with regard to its chronology. Civic Education - Man in Society - Didactic Analysis of the Thematic Area and Its Realization in Education

The aim of this master's thesis was to create educational material for teachers and students for the subject Citizenship education for 6th and 7th grades in primary schools based on didactic analysis and analysis of the target educational domain "Person in Society". The choice of the topic was influenced by the urgent need to create educational material which would correspond to the current principles in upbringing and education as they are given by the Framework Educational Program for primary education in terms of the curricular reform of the current Czech education, and in this way to help teachers with their pedagogic experience. Two thematic pieces were chosen to create the educational material - Our School, Relations between People. The educational material was fashioned into the form of a methodical guidebook and workbooks which were tested at chosen primary schools.64 The testing of the educational material allowed for flexible response to the student's and teacher's suggestions and meaningful revision of incurred issues based on theoretical resources and didactic analysis of the real school experience. A Story as a Path to Thematic Complex

Story as a way to the thematic unit The objective of this bachelor thesis is to map the connections and relations between the stories and creation of thematic units in the kindergarten. This thesis deals with the meaning of the fairy tales and stories for the children in pre-school age, and it also deals with integrated education and the creation of thematic units in the kindergarten. It contains practical preview, recorded on DVD, of thematic unit in the kindergarten. The research part of this thesis maps the work with stories in the pre-school facilities. It is about using and working with the story and the fairy tale in the families of pre-school children. In order to reach the aim of the reasearch there was used a question-form method: a questionnaire for the children and teachers of the kindergartens and a questionnaire for the parents of pre-school children.

The Mapping Survey of the locality in the Moravian Karst

This bachelor thesis is about creating thematical map, especially near village Sloup, situated on the edge of CHKO Moravian karst. There is some entrances into huge cave system and Sink holes, that are characteristic for karst, they could be found very often. The thesis is focused on creation suitable surveying network by GNSS static measuring and levelling. Surveying of individual points was realized by tachymetric method with total station Topcon GPT-3003N. The main object of measurement is surveying the relief near a Hrebenac that is yearly flooded, and some cave entrances that had to be measured too. Work should be used for maps actualization in CHKO Moravian karst.
