Engine Motormanagement Software
Kuda, Roman ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Increasing requirements and claims on running of motor vehicles contributed to development of new systems on the mixture preparations of fuel and ignition. Cardinal causes, which led to the very intensive research and later introduction of superior systems of injection and ignition, where fulfilment of stricter emission limits, lower fuel consumption at prezent engine-power increase and engine torque. The conception of the classical gas-engine was not changed over the past few years. The supervising elements as ignition and injestions of engines are continuously changed.
Programmable ignition system for spark-ignition engine
Friedel, Daniel ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Tošovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with design of programmable capacitive ignition, powered from board grid. Universality of the system, especially possibility to change values of timing of early spark via changes of programme in microcontroller was taken as major goal. Microcontroller is used as the operative element of ignition. Commonly used methods for sensing of engine speed and managing of ignition are defined and explained at the begining of the thesis. Also is presented realisation of hardware and software part and draw up the methodology calibration of the speed sensor. The ignition is designed to avoid the need to intervene in the high voltage ignition system.
Engine Motormanagement Software
Kopecký, Ivo ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Fuel injection is a means of metering fuel into an internal combustion engine. In modern automotive applications, fuel metering is one of several functions performed by an "engine management system". A fuel injection system is designed and calibrated specifically for the type(s) of fuel it will handle: gasoline (petrol), Autogas LPG (also known as propane), ethanol, methanol, methane (natural gas), hydrogen or diesel. The majority of fuel injection systems are for gasoline or diesel applications. With the advent of electronic fuel injection, the diesel and gasoline hardware has become quite similar. During the last twenty years a preparation of a fuel mixture and the way of ignition in engine segment have changed the most. Instead of a carburettor it is being used the unit, which prepare fuel mixture according to a status of a car on the road e.g. change of pressure, temperature or ratio of a fuel and air.
Methods of ignition spark gaps
Pekárek, Dominik ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Krbal, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of spark gap ignition. The thesis describes spark gap ignition by external electrode, by Rogowski electrode and by lasers. Advantages and disadvantages of these methods are also discussed. In the final part of the thesis there is described experiment with high voltage spark gap.
Engine Motormanagement Software
Huška, Lukáš ; Kuchyňková, Hana (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This master thesis deals with ignition systems which are used in cars vehicles with gas engines and also with setting of the best moment of ignition of gasoline-air mixture in cylinders of engine. Ways of gas injection at diesel engines and their control systems are also described in this thesis. Next chapter deals with control unit and describes main actions which are necessary for today’s motor vehicles. As illustration is used example of succession of actions which are necessary for calculation and setting regular value of pre-ignition. At the end is shown animation, which can be used for practice lessons in a subject Automobile Electric and Electronic Systems as a example. It will simplify understanding of described activities which are all accomplished by central control unit. For purposes of laboratory lessons is in this thesis also discussed measuring of engine performance with changes of parameter of central control unit.
Serial and Parallel Diagnostics of Vehicle Engine Control Units
Čoček, Jan ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
The thesis considers diagnosis of motor vehicles from the past until the present day, focusing especially on the engine of internal combustion engines. In its sections briefly describes the function of the system and then analyzed how to diagnose faults. The charts are presented symptoms and denouement, using measuring techniques. The conclusion describes the OBD systems, the most commonly used automotive bus and a summary of several major measuring devices used in automotive diagnostics.
Electronic control units of present SI-engines
Michna, Lukáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis named „Electronic control units of present SI-engines” treats of presently known and extended electronic control systems of SI-engines, so those ones, who mainly control both fuel-air mixture preparing and its ignition in combustion chamber. These are two fundamental functions for engine running, so they are described in light of basic principle of operation and also in light of each kind of these systems and its developmental stage description. Next point is enumeration and description of single parts of electronic control system participating in engine controlling, separated to logic sections. The end of publication makes reader acquainted with most extended types of electronic control systems, their producers and elementary differences.
Overview and basic principles of vehicle sensors and actuators
Pecka, Luboš ; Ambróz, Richard (referee) ; Laurinec, Marián (advisor)
In this thesis is written out an overview and a basic principles of a vehicle sensors and actuators, which are used for electronic control of Otto and Diesel engines. The thesis is focused on both, fuel injection control and also ignition control of Otto engine.
Elektronicky řízené systémy motocyklů
Borovička, Marek
The content of the thesis is the summary of a modern electronic systems implemented on two-wheeled vehicles, especially motorcycles. The main part is devoted to the description of the injection and ignition systems. The thesis also deals with the principles of driver assistance systems and their functions. Explains the function of electronically controlled systems with a positive impact on safety, efficiency, effectiveness, environment, comfort and competitive conditions improves the performance of machines and riders. Electronic systems for motorcycles eperiencing currently great development, although some are adopted from other categories of vehicles, but regulators have been extensively adapted two-wheeled vehicles.
Look into possibility and propose eventually adjustments of combustion engine for hybrid propulsion Biogas and Woodgas
VONDRUŠKA, Michal
Bachelor´s work on the theme ?Look into possibility and propose eventually adjustments of combustion engine for hybrid propulsion Biogas and Woodgas? is contributed to three parts. First part is concerned by methods principals and chemicals process of genesis Biogas and Woodgas and also their features and composition. The second part of work is concerned by selection of suitable combustion engine for hybrid propulsion and necessary adjustments of engine for purpose of guarantee of function. Component of work are also adjustments of Biogas and Woodgas that they are necessary for satisfy ecological criterion for combustion engines and simply economical calculation for purpose state of economical aspect using of combustion engine for hybrid propulsion. The Result of work is estimation of options of using combustion engine for hybrid propulsion of Biogas and Woodgas.
