Proposal of technological procedure for welding pressure vessel
Reich, Martin ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The work presents a proposal for a suitable technology for the welding of the pressure vessel of the LPG gas phase separator. There are three different methods of welding of the separator body proposed and the economics of producing the separator for a given series of pieces is assessed. There is a comparison of hand electrode welding, MAG welding and TIG welding. Further, a brief overview of possible types of non-destructive testing is added and the three selected tests are properly executed and detailed. An overall evaluation of the experiments performed is included and the possible future development outlined.
Evaluation of postural stability in subjects engaged in combat and non-contact sport
Kania, Richard ; Vomáčková, Helena (advisor) ; Satrapová, Lenka (referee)
Title: Evaluation of postural stability in subjects engaged in combatand non-contact sports Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to investigate the influence of contact itself during sport activities on postural stability of athletes. Methods: Into this quasi-experiment study there were picked 16 atheletes (n=16) in age from 22 to 35 years. Selected individuals were divided into two groups of eight according to their sporting activity (combat sports, baseball. In the mentioned individuals the postural stability was measured. To measure postural stability the computerized dynamic posturography of EquiTest Smart System from Neurocom was used. Measured data were processed using Neurocom Balance Manager Software. For the analysis of the data following statistical methods - paired t-test, Mann-Whitney test and rate of clinical signifikance (Cohen's d) were used. Results: The results indicate that individuals performing in combat sports were reaching higher mean scores in Limits of Stability than baseball players. This fact has been statistically and clinically proven. On the other hand baseball players reached higher mean Equilibrium Scores in Sensory organization test, however this fact has not been statistically nor clinically proven. No significant differences between the groups in motor...
Profile of a successful MMA fighter
Vesecká, Renata ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Ledvina, Zdeněk (referee)
Title: Profile of a successful MMA fighter Objectives: The main objective of this dissertation is to put together a profile of a successful MMA fighter of the prestigious organization UFC which brings together the most successful fighters of various styles from all around the world. The next objective was to determine which fighting style in today's prestigious matches is the most appropriate and efficient one to become successful. Methods: It is a theoretical descriptive dissertation. The used method was a research compilation study from several available literary and electronic resources. It presents fight statistics and their evaluation based upon the pragmatic importance. Results: It has been determined that the most successful style of the MMA matches in the UFC organization is wrestler and based upon the available information a profile of a successful MMA fighter has been put together. Keywords: MMA, UFC, combat sports. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Educational potential of combat sports training on adolescents' behavior
Schneider, Jonatan ; Janošová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Mazáčová, Nataša (referee)
Anotation This thesis examines both positive or negative educational potencial of combat sports training on youth's education. By doing in-depth interviews with expert trainers I searched for their own professional opinions on this subject. Collected data were analysed and compared with similar studies from the past. The aim of this thesis was to support or refute previous studies and my research expectations that show combat sports as a fully respected part of a sports industry capable of positive influence on its participants psyche and behavior. Results of the research confirmed that training of these sports can help adolescents cultivate good manners and healthy habits.
Possibilities of MMA training in Prague
Hůrka, David ; Pavelka, Radim (advisor) ; Čadová, Libuše (referee)
Title: The possibilities of MMA sports training in Prague Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to summarize the knowledge of the MMA sports training in Prague, the characteristics of MMA, its history, principles and types. Further to characterize the individual components of wrestlers' sports training in the Czech Republic in comparison with conditions abroad. Methods: The method of data collection was a study of available literature, mapping of Prague area focusing on all MMA training opportunities, interviews and personal comments of specific coaches. Results: We found out that the possibilities of sports training and the gyms' facilities are of the same level throughout the Czech Republic but there are significant differences in approach to training and opportunities in gyms when compared to a successful foreign club. Keywords: MMA, sports training, martial arts, gym
Gel polymer electrolytes with fire retardands
Veselkova, Iuliia ; Jahn, Michal (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This graduate work deals with the study and preparation of gel polymer electrolytes with flame retardants for lithium-ion batteries. The theoretical part describes the types of electrolytes, their features, benefits, how they differ and where they are used in detail. The basis of this section is gel electrolytes with flame retardants, to measure their electrical and electrochemical properties. The experimental part deals with the preparation of samples of gel electrolytes with different percentages of flame retardant, where varied species of flame retardants and measuring their electrical conductivity and potential windows. Impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry and dynamic-analytical thermal analysis were selected as measuring methods.
The production of domestic grill
Blahák, Radek ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The work deals with the production of domestic grill from discarded storage pressure vessel domestic water of non-alloy steel grade 11 373. The work is divided into theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part is devoted to the study of the manual electrode welding, design appropriate welding parameters and selection of welding electrodes. Further work is focused on graphic design of the grill, under which it will produce grill. The practical part is devoted to verification of appropriate welding parameters for the selected electrode to the control samples, evaluation, and then use the most appropriate type of electrode and the welding parameters for the design of the grill.
Manufacturing of separation subrack for rolling stand.
Trčka, Libor ; Štyl, Pavel (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
The project elaborated in terms of engineering studies concern with project of a manufactural process of separator weldment and of an economical analysis of a production calculated for one item of a weldment and one item of a casting. During elaboration this project there were used all obtainable norms and technical bibliography. In literery studies there are summarized important knowledges related to welding constructions, welding technology, heat treatment and checking fusion splices. There was choosed box construction for this separator weldment. That is designed of two types of material. First of materials S355J2G3, EN 10025 is used for structural parts and the second material S235JR, EN 10025 is used for stiffering pars. The propriety checking of this construction and used materials was performed by Finite Element Method. After calculating costs of production of both variants we can say, that the costs of production of one piece seperator weldment are considerably lower, than costs of production of one piece of casting.
Gel polymer electrolytes with high fire safety
Musil, Michal ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This work deals with preparation of PMMA based gel polymer electrolytes with high fire safety and high ionic conductivity. In the theoretical part of the work GPEs for Li – ion accumulators, fire safety tests, fire retardants are mentioned. Preparation of GPEs, electrical and other properties are described in the experimental part. Furthermore, new possible methods of gel preparation are discussed.
