Determination of Technical-economic Index for Wooden Structures with Help of Generated Data Base
Vrbka, Marek ; Tajbr, Aleš (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes wood structures and their structural systems along with their advantages and disadvantages. In the thesis calculation of technical-economic index (TEI) was performed for certain type of modern wood frame structure. From data analysis the author proposed two-stage application for determining the value of TEI of wood frame structures. In the first stage the author proposed methodology TEI; IC (technical-economic index, internal classifications), which is based on the principles used in the context of budgetary indicators. In the second stage the author proposed methodology TEI; CF (technical-economic index, complex formula). This methodology is based on calculation of TEI, where the default values are modified by coefficients reflecting influences affecting the value of TEI. The first stage is designed for implementation in the budgeting database software. The second stage is intended for implementation in software such as Microsoft Excel.

The thesis is primarily focused on business processes in the company Servis Leasing and it suggests how to improve some of them. This thesis was written in the period before implementation of new information system. Main aim of this new system is to unite information systems in company which are fragmented into 4 independent parts. New processes should be more consistent in using information and taking advantage of new compact system. They should be able to deal with two types of customers, too. The second aim of this thesis is to show variants of system integration and point out to main possible complications in the preparation of this new project.

Společenské náklady jako kritérium pro stanovení výše spotřební daně na alkohol
Šikola, Drahoš
ŠIKOLA, D. Social cost as a criterion for determining the amount of excise duty on alcohol. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2015. This thesis is focused on assessement of alcohol excise duty based on social cost of harmful alcohol consumption. The thesis is based on a comparision of those social cost with tax revenues of excise duty. Based on the difference between those two values, different approaches are enumerated to increase desirable excise duty rates. Different variants are proposed there to cover above mentioned costs from alcoholic drinks equaly and also with price advantage for particular drinks. Concurently, a solution is outlined for a change of taxes after inclusion of an amount of colletction of value added tax derived from excise duty into a calculation. Based on the calculation, recommendations are proposed to change current rates of excise duty.

Zpracování odpadu z pily ve Slavonicích
Kubek, Tomáš
Diploma thesis deals with proposal of elaboration of waste from sawmill in Slavonice. Solves condition of current operations and technological equipment of the company. It also deals with three variants of the technological organization and mechanization of elaboration of waste. The first variant solves briquetting line, the second is focused on the pelletizing line and the third part constitutes sorter sawmill waste. All of the mentioned variants are supported by the drawings. Diploma thesis includes economic evaluation of the solutions, where are assessed hypothetical realization and operation costs of the line for elaboration of the waste. From all of the mentioned variants is selected the most advantageous variant - sorting of the waste

Ekonomická efektivnost způsobů odchytu kůrovců
Bauer, Jan
The bachelor thesis compares the usual capturing device for (Ips typographus L.) in terms of economic efficiency on the number of captured beetles. The topic has been studied literature, compiled a literature review to assess the first ways of trapping bark beetles, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of different variants of capture (SWOT analysis). On the basis of analysis were selected to meet the objectives of the two most common variants of capture - tree traps and pheromone traps for which was determined by the economic efficiency of capture based on observation and investigation variant of traps in one year and by comparing the type (Ips typographus L.).

Grammar-based genetic programming
Nohejl, Adam ; Mráz, František (advisor) ; Iša, Jiří (referee)
Tree-based genetic programming (GP) has several known shortcomings: difficult adaptability to specific programming languages and environments, the problem of closure and multiple types, and the problem of declarative representation of knowledge. Most of the methods that try to solve these problems are based on formal grammars. The precise effect of their distinctive features is often difficult to analyse and a good comparison of performance in specific problems is missing. This thesis reviews three grammar-based methods: context-free grammar genetic programming (CFG-GP), including its variant GPHH recently applied to exam timetabling, grammatical evolution (GE), and LOGENPRO, it discusses how they solve the problems encountered by GP, and compares them in a series of experiments in six applications using success rates and derivation tree characteristics. The thesis demonstrates that neither GE nor LOGENPRO provide a substantial advantage over CFG-GP in any of the experiments, and analyses the differences between the effects of operators used in CFG-GP and GE. It also presents results from a highly efficient implementation of CFG-GP and GE.

Static verification and variant design of steel structure of administrative building of Gasworks in Brno - Radlas
Štulrajterová, Terézia ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The subject of this master´s thesis is a recalculation of the existing structure, design, static analysis and economic comparison of two variants of this bearing structure of the administrative building Jihomoravská plynárenská located in Brno. Ground plan dimensions and height of both these variants are based on existing disposition of the building. The diameter of the circular floor plan is 16,088 m and height of the structure is 29,46 m. With this new proposal of solution A and B, lower weight of structure in comparison to the existing state has been reached. Both variants have a bearing column in the middle of floor plan and new solution of ceiling structure. The most advantageous from the economic and assembly point of view is variant B. Design of this variant was processed in detail.
