Wireless Voting System
Slezák, David ; Hájek, Josef (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis deals with designing and implementation of wireless voting system based on the IQRF technology. The thesis describes mentioned IQRF technology and compares its features with others wireless technologies. It also describes the architecture design and communication protocol of the proposed system. The system consists of device conected to computer which collects data from the voting stations. The core of the thesis is the implementation of this components and implementation of control application for the computer. In conclusion, discussed the achievements and possible improvements.
Digital Oscilloscope on FITkit Platform
Veškrna, Ondřej ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a device that enables to monitor the behavior of the measured signal on the computer screen, using the principle of the digital oscilloscope. The control element of the device is the field programmable gate array (FPGA) on FITkit platform.  The FPGA configuration controls the input signal sampling and sends the received samples through the USB interface to the PC. The graphical application implemented in the computer tries to restore the signal and then displays it on the screen.
Driver and Hardware Module of MiWi Protocol for Linux
Hala, Martin ; Kořenek, Jan (referee) ; Novotný, Tomáš (advisor)
The master's thesis is about a communication element - a hardware module, its design and implementation. The communication is to be maintained between a Linux embedded device and the sensors elements, using the MiWi protocol. The task is part of the IoT project, developed at FIT BUT. Furthermore, the paper describes design of a driver for the module, its likely solution, as well as the very implementation. Finally, the obtained experience is discussed in a summary, along the next step options on how to proceed further with the driver development.
MiWi Protocol Driver for Linux
Wolfert, Richard ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Novotný, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes creating of device driver for Linux. The result driver is able to handle PAN coordinator device for MiWi protocol. User is able to communicate with device using socket network interface. The theoretical part provides fundamentals of operations and creation of new device drivers for Linux kernel. The main parts of this work consist of design, implementation, final testing and evaluation of results
Remote-controled analogue multiplexer
Chvíla, Ladislav ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Vávra, Jiří (advisor)
This bechelor thesis is about proposal and realization of remote-controled analogue multiplexer with detailed desription how it is constructed and what are technical parameters. Thesis is both about hardware and about software.
Cyklocomputer with Frequency Meter
Netáhlo, Tomáš ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hermany, Jiří (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with design and realization of the cyklocomputer with a measuring frequency of pedaling. The device measures speed, pedaling frequency, heart rate, distance traveled and the current time and date. Measured values are stored in memory and then can be transferred via USB bus to computer. The work includes a description of the magnetic sensors and ECG sensors. The practical part includes the design of hardware and software cyklocomputer.
Recorder with SD card
Dohnal, Petr ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis presents the design and construction of Recorder with SD card. The paper deals with methods of communication between integrated circuit devices and the various functional blocks of equipment. Thesis also discusses the use of the FAT system for storing data on an SD card, file format .wav and convert analog signal to digital.
Design of ZigBee device - Analog inputs in range 0 - 10 V
Vepřek, Jan ; Kacz, Peter (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and realization device with analog inputs for ZigBee module. The first part of thesis contains analyse of possible solutions design of device and selecting the best choice. In the second part is function and connection of real circuits which I have used in device. In the third part is introduced function of software and description of functions. The communication between microcontroller and circuits through the use of programmed function is described. The last part is attended to user manual. There are descriptions controls of device and radio communication between two devices.
Module of Analog Inputs with Modbus Communication
Stehno, Tomáš ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis contains the theoretical material needed for practical implementation and design of the Module analog inputs with Modbus communication. The theoretical part describes the Modbus protocol, the shape of the transmitted messages and the implementation of the different types of networks. The practical part deals with his own proposal for equipment and design of the software microprocessor. Hardware part describes the involvement of individual blocks of the product. Software section explains the function of the program.
Real Time Recorder of Events
Nezval, Tomáš ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Šandera, Josef (advisor)
In this bachelor project I have been working on the design and construction of a device for storing 8 bits information on a SD/MMC memory card. The main problems are: storing of data on a memory card by microcotroller PIC in a way that will be readable on a PC (TXT file); implementation of file system FAT16; storing the data in defined time intervals by RTC (real time circuit), and ensuring the overall design enables minimal consumption of the battery power supply.
