Education of Patients on Antikoagulants.
JANEČKOVÁ, Brigita
Anticoagulation treatment is an inevitable part of complex approach to a number of cardiovascular diseases. From the point of view of nurse?s participation in treatment and nursing process in these diseases/nosological units treatment with oral anticoagulants is the biggest task and challenge. This is mostly provided on out-patient basis, so the immediate monitoring by medical staff, which is commonplace in hospitalized patients, cannot be ensured. The more important is to achieve optimum cooperation and participation of a patient in the treatment process by means of educational process. So education, its evaluation and continuous improvement has key importance here. Anticoagulation treatment of course brings patients big benefit, it prevents thrombotic and embolic complications, however itself it is a potential source of important and dangerous side effects. Education thus has to prevent insufficient treatment (i.e. underdosage) as well as excess treatment (i.e. overdosage). To achieve the optimum anticoagulation treatment, which is easy to check by adherence to the contractual desirable therapeutic INR values (or by conventional Quick Test) patients have to be educated particularly in relation to adherence to the dosage scheme of particular medicines, then to the same extent in relation to specific dietetic measures in treatment by oral coumarone anticoagulants. The aim of our work is to find and quantify the extent to which patients adhere to the principles achieved through education, to compare the results in men and women, and finally to find if dependence between the extent of adherence to the principles achieved through education and anticoagulation treatment efficiency (INR values within required limits) exists. We collected data for this work by means of quantitative research strategy where we used the questionnaire method. The patient questionnaire includes closed questions related to 7 regime areas (movement, diet, smoking, alcohol, antistress mode, drug dosage, specific dietetic measure in warfarin treatment) and one open question aimed at patient?s knowledge of type of food relevant for specific dietetic measure in warfarin treatment. The collected data and results are elaborated in graphic form. Three hypotheses were set: 1. Patients treated with warfarin adhere to the principles achieved by education. 2. Women adhere to the principles achieved by education more than men. 3. Direct dependence between the education success rate and the coagulation treatment success exists. The research showed that patients adhere to the principles inculcated in them by education process. The first hypothesis was confirmed. Comparison of the results showed that women adhere to the principles more than men. The second hypothesis was confirmed as well. Comparison of the results of the success rate in achieving the target therapeutic INR values with the education success rate showed that anticoagulation treatment success rate rises with education success rate. The higher the education success rate the higher the rate of INR reading within the target therapeutic range. The third hypothesis was also confirmed. The results also showed that while the education success rate in relation to adherence to treatment scheme is practically 99 %, the success rate of education in relation to special dietetic measures in warfarin treatment is about 80 %. Here we can see an area for improvement of the education process. The results of our findings within this Thesis were used as inputs for elaboration of a paradigm for education activities of nurses towards patients on oral coagulation treatment. The paradigm forms an annex to the Thesis. This may improve the educational activity of nurses in this sphere and reduce the risk of both, insufficient and excessive anticoagulation treatment.

PRIMARY PUPILSʼ HISTORICAL THINKING Abstract This thesis deals with development of childrenʼs historical thinking in primary school. At the beginning of the theses, changes in the Czech history curriculum are presented. Moreover, it discusses psychological relations of historical thinking and introduces important Czech and foreign works presenting researches in this field of study. The thesis depicts the course of the qualitative research focusing on the level of historical thinking skills of the fifth graders, especially their historical understanding. The research also contains four lesson plans including special tasks for children. At the end of the thesis, the influence of these tasks on childrenʼs historical thinking is examined and described. The suggested methods should be not only an inspiration source for teachers, but also a possible way of development of historical thinking of primary school pupils. Data mining v oblasti Customer relationship managemet: Analýza dat významné logistické společnosti
Nekvapil, Viktor ; Rauch, Jan (advisor) ; Šimůnek, Milan (referee)
The thesis addresses possibilities of deploying the open source data mining system LISp-Miner in the customer relationship management (CRM), specifically in the area of lead management. This is basically a process of finding information about potential customers, qualifying those customers according to their potential (future value), and turning the selected potential customers to real customers. The data used includes the records concerning the lead management of a major logistic company operating worldwide (the company wanted to stay in anonymity). The data is analysed using the LISp-Miner system which is an academic software developed at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the University of Economics, Prague. The thesis also pays attention to the collaboration with the business experts of the company which provided the data. The principle aim of the thesis is to provide information contributing to the possible change of internal processes of the company. Further aims are to propose directions of the use of the LISp-Miner system when solving a similar data mining task, and propose a simple and understandable way how to present the results. The aims have been achieved by doing the analysis in compliance with the CRISP-DM Methodology. The asset of the thesis is the description of the whole project which includes the analysis of real data using the LISp-Miner system. Further result of the thesis is the description of the lead management domain. Finally, the thesis offers the instructions and recommendations for future similar projects. Section I outlines the LISp-Miner system and its procedures. Section II - A case study describes the process of analysing the data. Two cycles ("iterations") of the analysis were performed. The chapters devoted to the both iterations have been structured according to the phases of the CRISP-DM Methodology. Section III summarises the observations gained during the entire project. Moreover, it gives recommendations and instructions for the application in case a similar project of the data analysis using the LISp-Miner system is designed.

Rašková, Gabriela ; Steininger, Michal (advisor) ; Pavel, Pavel (referee)
The goal of my bachelor work is the analysis of utilization of pay cards in the Czech Republic with the aim to identify the most advantageous product for a client. The partial goal of the work is general characterization of pay cards. The work is divided into two principal parts. In this part there is also a general characteristic of cards, definition of their types according to different criteria and options for their use. The second part deals with the task of analysing utilization of pay cards in the Czech Republic to eventually find the best product for predefined clientele. To attain this goal, questionnaires were distributed. Acquired data were transferred into graphs, tables and short commentaries. Lastly, the questionnaire outcome, from which was determined the target age group (age group 15-26 years) and specific orientation for the following comparison of chosen pay cards. We can conclude from this analysis, that for the age group 15-26 years is the most advantageous product the pay card form UniCredit Bank that belongs to U konto pro mladé. Study developed during the Master's degree studies of Mechanical Engineering deals with the use of recycled plastic in the injection molding and its influence on the mechanical properties of the mold. Examined product is used in the automotive industry as a connector body. The housing is manufactured from a plastic material, polyamide. The annual production volume of 3 000 000 pieces. According to tests specified in standard USCAR2 regrind influence on mechanical properties and dimensions was evaluated. After the technical evaluation of the project, research was also judged from economic point of view. In this task, savings with the different content of the recycled material during production was calculated. The final chapters justify change of properties and they are proposing the use of recycled materials in practice.

Comparative analysis of (selected) managerial styles
Vojtová, Eva ; Cejthamr, Václav (advisor) ; Dědina, Jiří (referee)
This paper discusses selected managerial styles, their mutual comparison and applies the theories of management styles to several model situations in order to compare which particular style the theories recommend for different organizations. The first part deals with basic concepts relevant to management of employees and briefly describes selected theories of management styles. The second part aims at mutual comparison of the managerial styles according to three criteria (employee orientation, orientation to the task and the recommended management style according to individual theories). Furthermore, recommendations of the most appropriate style proposed by various theories for different model companies (factory, advertising agency, hospital) are compared. In developing this work, literature review, analysis and summarisation of findings and proposed solutions to model situations were used.
