Apartment building

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and subsequent processing of the detailed project documentation for a new residential building in Uherský Brod. The residential building is located in the outskirts of the city in the Olšava housing estate. It is a detached building with three above-ground and one underground floor. In the basement there is a garage, maintenance room and technical background of the building. On the first floor there is a barrier-free apartment, cellar and joint areas. The second and third floors are reserved exclusively for residential use. In total, there are five residential units in the house with a layout of 2+kitchenette and 3+kitchenette. The structural system of the building is a cross-wall system. The base and the perimeter wall of the basement are monolithic reinforced concrete made of waterproof concrete. Vertical structures are made of brick blocks. Reinforced concrete monolithic floor slabs are designed as horizontal load-bearing structures. The roof structure is a single-skin flat vegetated roof. The building is insulated with a contact insulation system. The ventilated facade with wooden cladding is designed in parts of the third floor.
Gallery in Olomouc

The aim of this thesis is developing a design of a gallery near the historical centre of Olomouc. The building houses a gallery exhibition space, a depository, an auditorium, a café, entrance and communication areas, sanitary facilities for visitors and employees, office of the gallery management, and space for building devices. The building is designed with two aboveground storeys. The load-bearing structure of the building is designed as a cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame and floor slabs with aerated concrete masonry infill. The facade is designed as ventilated with a green vertical garden or glass panels. The exhibition space is designed with a warm roof. Second part of the thesis design of building services. The building uses mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Heating and domestic hot water supply in a the building is provided by a heat pump. Electricity is partially provided by photovoltaic power plant. Rain water is effectivelly used in this building as well for a irrigation. Third part of the thesis deals with facility management and design of the way how is the building supplied, organised and managed, including insource and outsource services used here. Software used to elaborete thesis include: AutoCad, Revit, Lumion, Deksoft, Word, Excel, Photoshop and BuildingDesign.
Residence

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design and elaboration of project documentation for the new construction of the Rezidence apartment building. The proposed building is located in Brno, in the Slatina district, and is located on land that is protected by an agricultural land fund, so it will be necessary to remove it from the ZPF. This plot is not located in a flooded or mined area. It is a detached building, which has four floors above ground and one underground floor. In the new building there are 12 residential units of 3 + kk and 1 + kk. In the basement there is a cellar for each apartment. In the first half there is a bike shed / carriage house, a cleaning room and a workshop with a warehouse, in the second half there are two technical rooms and a warehouse. On the first floor there is an entrance to the building, a laundry room with a drying room, a gym for the inhabitants of the house and two 1 + kk apartment units. On the second and third floor 4 units of size 1 + kk and on the top floor 2 residential units of size 3 + kk. From the second floor, each apartment has a balcony. These apartments are designed primarily for students, couples, or even a starting family. Each floor is connected by a three-armed reinforced concrete staircase, which is complemented by an elevator. The house is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips in combination with lost formwork. The vertical load-bearing structures in the basement are made up of lost formwork, the load-bearing structures above the ground are made of ceramic blocks, which are insulated with a ventilated façade and equipped with a Bond SK1 façade sandwich cassette. The horizontal load-bearing structures form a semi-assembled Porotherm system. The whole building is covered by a single-skin vegetation-retention flat roof. The new apartment building is designed to be very economical.
Apartment building

The focus of this bachelor's thesis is the design and subsequent production of implementation project documents for a new flat building in Vysoké Mýto. The apartment building is located in the calm urban district "Za Pivovarem," which is zoned for residential and family houses. The building's vertical load-bearing system is a two-way wall. Limestone blocks serve as the foundation. A folded ceiling structure composed of POT beams and MIAKO inserts serves as the horizontal load-bearing system. A vented facade insulates the apartment building. The building's principal architectural concept is a horizontally oriented cement board outer fibre with visible joints that bounce away from each other. The boards are gray and orange. The structure is divided into two parts, the middle of which is narrower, higher, and protrudes in front of the second. The apartment complex is separated into four above-ground and one basement level. A cellar and a technical background of the building can be found in the basement. Parking spots and a common rooms are planned on the ground floor. Residential flats will occupy the remaining floors. The structure will have nine unique dwelling units, including one for those with limited mobility and spatial orientation.
Residence Lazce

The bachelor's thesis deals with project documentation for the new construction of a residential building Rezidence Lazce. The proposed building is located on the outskirts of Olomouc on the border of three districts Lazce, Hejčín and Černovír, at the same time the building is located in the immediate vicinity of PLA Litovelské Pomoraví, which provides sports and relaxation for residents and at the same time in the vicinity of the house, further construction is being built in the direction of the PLA. We must not forget the river Moravia, with which the building is adjacent across the street on the east side. Thanks to the river, the building is located in the historic flood area Q100, or century-old water, which will soon change, as the city invests considerable resources in flood control measures, due to floods in 1997. The building is 4 storeys, where the first floor and is equipped with cellars, a bicycle shed, a pram, a sports facility with an infrared sauna, a meeting room and a technical room. On the remaining floors there are always 3 residential units 3 + KK, 2 with a spacious terrace to the west and the last smallest to be overlooking the river Moravia to the east. The house is based on concrete foundation strips in combination with lost formwork, which raises the building 0.5 m above the level of LT, precisely because of the flood area. The vertical construction system consists of Porotherm ceramic blocks. The horizontal structures are then made of monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling slabs. The building is insulated with a ventilated facade with a visible layer of face masonry. The roof of the house is then extensive vegetation.
Retirement center in Velké Poříčí

It is about new-built Retirement center standing alone in the cadaster unit of the town Velké Poříčí. The building has four- floors without basement. It is located in flat terrain near the river in quiet location. The house is built as letter L form. The Retirement center is adapt for disabled people. In the first floor is dining room, doctor´s office, part for employees and technical facilities for house. In the second and third floors are apartments. There are 12 single rooms for one person, 6 single rooms for pair with sleeping in one room and 4 apartments for couple with separated bedroom. In the fourth floor is access to roof terrace. The structural systém of the building is composed of precast concrete frame by Prefa, infill wall from ceramic masonry. Vertical structures are built by prestressed concrete floor slab Spiroll. The building has ventilated facade with mineral wool with facade cladding. The roof is warm flat roof with half intensive green roof.
Sport center

Diploma thesis premises designed Sport center at the documentary for execution of works. The dominant part is a sport multifunctional hall, whitch is connected to a two above-ground floors fitness center with facilities for visitors. The construction system of the hall is prefabricated reinforced concrete structural frame. The ceiling construction consists of prefabricated reinforced concrete panels. The fitness center is designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete structural frame. Ceiling structures are cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs. The roof structures are designed like flat vegetation roof. The building has exterior thermal insulation system with ventilated facade.
Mixed-use building

The subject of this thesis is the development of project documentation for the construction design of the mixed-use building in Třebíč, in the borough of Na Kopcích. The building has four above-ground floors. On the first floor there are shops, specifically a hairdresser and a café, and the technical background of the house. The second to fourth floors are made up of residential units and a storeroom is built to each apartment on the floor. There are 4 flats 2 + kk, 4 flats 3 + kk and 3 flats 4 + kk. The roof structure is designed as a warm flat green roof. Construction system is wall, masonry from clay blocks.
Mountain hotel

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a mountain hotel in the village Rokytnice nad Jizernou. The object is placed on a sloping plot located in an attractive touristic and skiing area of mountain range Krkonoše. The mountain hotel has 4 floors and a basement. In the First floor there is a restaurant with a terrace, kitchen and administrative facilities of hotel. In the second and third floor we can find guest rooms and room for the hotel staff. In the basement there is wellness, technical facilities and garage compound. Construction of building is made of the reinforced concrete monolithic transverse frames with beam filling of ceramic block.
Small apartment house

The aim of the bachelor thesis is design of an apartment house. The apartment house is located in Brno in cadastral area Sadová. Building has four above-ground floors and a basement. Vertical and horizontal loadbearing structures are made of cross laminated timber. A service core of the building is designed as a reinforced concrete structure. Building has a ventilated facade. There are six dwelling units in the apartment house, one of them is designed for persons with impaired mobility. Habitable rooms of particular apartments have a southern exposure and view on Brno. Theme of seminar work is Timber structures.
