Reduction of CentOS operating system
Vashkevich, Pavel ; Caha, Tomáš (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to perform a reduction of the Linux operating system. For minimalization was entered the Linux distribution CentOS 8, which is created on the basis of open-source code. This code are spread by Red Hat. The theoretical part describes the basic components of the operating system, including the Linux kernel, drivers and graphical interface. The practical part describes the suggestion of a method for minimizing the operating system. This method also includes a comparison of lightweight web browsers. The resulting size after reduction is 731 MB. Minimization automation software is published in the personal repository on GitHub under the MIT license.
Risk Assessment and Minimization in OSH in Construction Companies
Albrecht, Daniel ; Beneš, Martin (referee) ; Popelová, Barbora (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation and minimization of risks in the area of occupational health and safety (OSH), specifically on risks in the construction industry. The analysis of the current state evaluates the issue of current OSH from the European and national point of view, defines terms and contains basic principles of safe work with construction machines. The main task of this work is to analyze the risk associated with the performed activity on a model example and propose suitable measures for their minimization including financial evaluation.
Porovnání minimalizačních a konvenčních technologií zpracování půdy
FORMÁČEK, Vojtěch
Work will focus on comparison of minimizing and conventional way of soil processing work. Comparison will be performed according to consumption of fuel for particular operations and will be compared to normatives. Fuel consumption will be taken from onboard computing units of tractors. For evaluation, we will consider operation cost, state of vegetation and final gain from crop seeded on both experimental fields (rape; Brassica napus).
Stanovení vybraných parametrů souprav pro minimalizační způsoby zpracování půdy
KRÝSL, Zdeněk
This diploma thesis briefly described the basics of soil cultivation, used machines and basic procedures, with regard to the minimization soil processing. The practical part of the thesis observed and described the parameters of two machines used for minimization soil processing and evaluated their effectivity.
Democratic deficit of the EU: options of evolvement
Tomášová, Tereza ; Šlosarčík, Ivo (advisor) ; Weiss, Tomáš (referee)
Diploma thesis " Democratic deficit of the EU: options of evolvement" deals with democracy and democratic legitimacy of the European Union. It represents a particular concept of the EU's democratic deficit, which is ambiguous term, but generally indicates a lack of democracy- particularly the lack of popular participation in the governance or a lack of democratic legitimacy of EU institutions and decision-making. The aim of my work was, according to the hypotheses to determine what is causing the EU's democratic deficit, whether it is a serious problem that should be addressed at European level, and if so, what are the possibilities for minimizing or further evolvement. To explore this issue further, I examine the theory of democratic legitimacy in the introduction and divide it into the "input and output" legitimacy. Subsequently, I also introduced methodology and the current debate on democratic deficit in the leading periodicals, dealing with the EU and think tanks. The second part deals with the history of the democratic deficit and its various definitions, follows with a presentation of my two hypotheses dealing with the question whether or not the EU's democratic deficit is a problem. In the third part, my two hypotheses are tested on the project of the Single European Sky, which aims to...
Oilseed rape root system development with regard to various ways of soil preparation
Němcová, Michaela ; Bečka, David (advisor) ; Krček, Vítězslav (referee)
This thesis deals with the root system of winter rape with regard to various tillage methods. Resolves, whether for winter rape and its root systém is better standart tillage or minimization. This problem was solved by a one-year research. Sectional characters of each soil treatment such as a root length, diameter of root crown, the length of the longest leaf, number of leaves, the weight of fresh and dried roots were compared in two periods. The results were very good for both technologies, but standart tillage was better in more partial characters. The conclusion of this work is that the standart tillage has a better effect on the development of the root system of winter rape and this experiment should be repeated for longer-term comparisons.
Influence of soil tillage on lucerne root morphology in the seeding year
Diviš, Michal ; Hakl, Josef (advisor) ; Kamila, Kamila (referee)
The aim of this study was to evaluate effect of different soil tillage and seeding rate on alfalfa root morphology. The field experiment was established in 3 variants of tillage: shallow cultivation (MK), loosening (HK) and conventional tillage (plough), all under two seeding rate (4 and 7 MGS). After autumn cut, root samples were collected in the depth of 25 cm. Lower seeding rate increased intensity of branching and number of lateral root per plant. Total mass of roots per hectar was higher in higher seeding rate variant. Ploughed variant provided higher intensity of branching and branching depth was the deepest of all variants. Loosed variant showed highest branch diameter out of all variants. Highest plant number per square meter was achieved in loosed variant but shallow cultivation showed highest plant survival rate of all variants. Tillage affected weed infestation by 33,6 %. Dominant weeds in ploughed variant were field pennycress and pale persicaria. Dominant weeds in loosed variant were redroot pigweed and cockspur, while in shallow tillage variant dominant weeds were represented by cleavers and common knotgrass. Results of experiment show that shallow cultivation and loosening have similar influence on plant density and root morphology as conventional tillage. Reduced seeding rates are possible, but due to problematic field emergence of alfalfa and higher weed infestation of thinner stands, higher seeding rates prove themselves as superior.
Vliv aplikace různých dusíkatých hnojiv na slámu na obsah rostlinám přístupného dusíku v půdě
Pliska, Radim
The work deals with the influence of the application of different nitrogen fertilizers on the winter wheat straw decomposition support on the nitrogen content accessible to plants in the soil. This issue was dealt in the agricultural year 2013/2014 as small-plot field experiment at the experimental station of the School Farm in Žabčice near Brno. The following 7 variations of fertilizers in three repetitions was included in the experiment: Ammonium sulphate granular, Urea, DAM 390, ALZON 46, DAM 390 + PIADIN 0,5 l/ha, DAM 390 + PIADIN 1 l/ha, NPK 15-15-15) and not fertilized inspection. Every fertilizer was aplicated in two rations. An effect of different variant was evaluated in two soil-cultivate to a depth of 24 cm and minimization to a depth of 15 cm. We evaluated the content of mineral nitrogen in the soil. The differential effect was expected in each variant of fertilizers but individual variants of the fertilizers were not statistically significant. Influence of soil-cultivate was statistically significant. The value of mineral nitrogen ranged from 8.90 up 16.20 mg/kg on tillage variant. The lowest value was determined on the variant DAM 390 + PIADIN (1 l/ha) and the highest value on the variant DAM 390 + PIADIN 0,5 l/ha. The value of mineral nitrogen was between the number 5.49 and 7,76 mg/kg in the minimization variation. The lowest value was established on the variant ALZON 46 and the highest on the variant Urea.
Library for Operations over Finite Automata
Bartůněk, Petr ; Puš, Viktor (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with two basic operations over finite automata. Determination of nondeterministic finite automata and minimization of deterministic finite automata. For these two operations I proposed sequential algorithms that are parallelizable. I deal mainly with finding the speedup of SSE instructions, or use the OpenMP library. The trend today is mainly in increasing the number of processors, so I propose parallel algorithms for multiple processors. When searching for the optimal solution, I will be to examine other ways to achieve speedup, for example efficient saving of the data structures in memory.
