Study of Electric and Dielectric Properties of Ionic Liquids
Characterisation of dielectric films on a silicon wafer
Fillner, Patrik ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hubálek, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on thin oxide based dielectric layers on silicon wafer. Main effort is for characterization of properties of samples. This technology can be used for manufacturing capacitors on silicon chips. Samples are based on planar oxide layers made with thin film technology on single silicon wafers coated with electrodes deposited by evaporation or by sputtering.
Electronic equipment for high-power flash light
Fritsch, Karel ; Folprecht, Martin (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
Point of this thesis is introduction to topology of small power switching power supplies and final application of gained knowledge during development of converter for charging capacitor battery of high power photographic flash. Thesis also contains design of control unit with microcontroller and description of work process of activation individual function blocks.
Design of linear structures on transistor level
Gajdoš, Adam ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the development of software for automated design frequency filters using active elements instead of inductors. The first part deals with the allocation of frequency filers by transmitted specrum and type of components used. It also deals with working mode in the circuit. Thesis also focuses on the description developmet environment in Wolfram Mathematica, and overall development and also advantages. The next chapter is devoted to the theoretical description of the program and all the necessary theoretical provisions, that are needed to manage the program, i.e. description modified nodal analysis, replacement of MOSFET transistor for Voltage Controlled Current Source and writing passive elements in programming language too. The last chapter is dedicated to the development of the program and detailed description.
Planar Structures for High Frequency Band
Pulec, Jiří ; Pietriková, Alena (referee) ; Maschke, Jan (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
The present paper deals with the problematics of the design and technology of planar microelectronic structures for the hign frequency band. These structures were realised on the Department of Microelectronics and their properties were measured on the Department of Radioelectronics. The part of this work is also simulation of some microelectronic structures, where for these simulations the design and simulation tool Ansoft Designer and the FEM tool ANSYS was used. The attention is paid to the discrete devices (coils and capacitors) as well as to the more complex structures (frequency filters). The paper yields the new findings in the field of the design and technology of the discrete components as well as of the more complex systems, these findings can be used as the basis for another research of practical applications.
Reactive Power Compensation of The Industrial Consumer
Hanzelka, Jiří ; Holoubek, Jiří (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on reactive power compensation and it suggests new conceptions for industrial customers. The first part describes the basics of compensation, location and ways of compensation. In conclusion of this part it is a good example of parallel reactive power compensation. The second part deals with the design of reactive power compensation specifically for raw water pumping station. Compensation was solved both on a low voltage level and on the high voltage level. For drawings were used program EPLAN Electric P8.
Low ESR meter controlled by the microcontroller
Giemza, Michal ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and realization of the equivalent series resistance meter of capacitors. The first part discussed the theoretical issue of the equivalent series resistance of capacitor and chooses an appropriate measuring method. The second part describes the design of functional blocks of the meter and describes the realization of the final meter by the circuit and software page. The last section describes the measurement on real capacitors and its results.
Utilization of local systems for power system regulation
Kostov, Jiří ; Geschwinder, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s Thesis deals general information about methods of regulation of elektrification systems, including basic principles of regulation of frequency, regulation of voltage and regulation of reactive and active power. Work includes information about aggregate remote control system, power plants that participate on regulation and self device for regulation and controlling of reactive power. Work engages on new options in section of regulation and his requirements for distribution sites. Part of work deals information about renewable natural energy sources and his requirements for distribution sites.
Engine Motormanagement Software
Kopecký, Ivo ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Fuel injection is a means of metering fuel into an internal combustion engine. In modern automotive applications, fuel metering is one of several functions performed by an "engine management system". A fuel injection system is designed and calibrated specifically for the type(s) of fuel it will handle: gasoline (petrol), Autogas LPG (also known as propane), ethanol, methanol, methane (natural gas), hydrogen or diesel. The majority of fuel injection systems are for gasoline or diesel applications. With the advent of electronic fuel injection, the diesel and gasoline hardware has become quite similar. During the last twenty years a preparation of a fuel mixture and the way of ignition in engine segment have changed the most. Instead of a carburettor it is being used the unit, which prepare fuel mixture according to a status of a car on the road e.g. change of pressure, temperature or ratio of a fuel and air.
Single-Phase Induction Motor Calculation
Volf, Lukáš ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This work is in the first chapter deals with the basic properties of single phase and three-phase induction motors. The following describes the procedure for obtaining a starting torque of single-phase asynchronous motor. In the second part of the calculation is carried out single-phase induction motor with a permanently connected capacitor and its control, calculation of output values, the program proposed solution to this calculation in Microsoft Excel 2007 and calculated parameters of the development of methods of calculation were compared with measured, the values supplied by ATAS Náchod.
