The diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of the information system, which is used to record the hours worked, in a specific company. In addition to the assessment of the system itself, it also deals with the proposal for its change, the implementation procedure, together with the risk management and time analysis. The content of the work is, in addition to the above, the analysis of the company in terms of external and internal environment, a description of the information systems used and their audit.

The work also provides an application design for the company, which is meant to store data about products purchased by customers and to monitor the regularity of service inspections. The main advantage of the application is the automation of cooperation with clients and providing an overview concerning the status of individual products.

The following part is dedicated to the introduction of the company and subsequent analysis of the current status. The last part of the thesis is focusing on suggestions of changes, which will eliminate discovered imperfections, including their economical evaluation.

The aim of the master thesis is to create a proposal of marketing strategy, resp. segmen-tation and marketing mix for a selected NGO which is aimed at protecting the cultural heritage. The thesis summarizes the principles of elaboration of a marketing strategy, which are needed for internal and external analysis. Emphasis is given to Customer analysis which (together with SWOT analysis) forms the cornerstones for setting the goals of marketing strategy. Benefits should be: increased awareness of the brand and organization’s activities, the acquisition of new customers and additional funds.

The theoretical part of the work is focused on business, purchasing, selling, selling cycle and CRM. The practical part includes the characteristics of the Agricultural Commodity Markets and Agricultural Machinery Market. PESTE analysis is used as tool to monitor external factors that may have impact on an organisation’s performance. The basic characteristics are described together with marketing mix and McKinsey 7S model. Afterwards business cycle and CRM usage are described in detail. Based on the acquired findings is proposed a recommendation for optimizing the problematic parts in given business.

Based on this, the final part of the thesis proposes a change that leads to the efficiency of processes in the company and to the elimination of detected deficiencies.

An integral part of this work is also the subsequent discussion of the conditions necessary for suc-cessful implementation, as well as discussion of the resulting risks and benefits of the proposed measures.
