The goal is to bring India as a world leader with regard to its relations with the Czech Republic and European Union. India is today one of the fastest growing economies in the world. For this reason it is necessary to evaluate its present position in world markets especially its role in the international trade or its competitive advantages. The work contains a detailed analysis of the economic relations between India and the Czech Republic and India and European Union. The paper also examines the specifics of trading with the Indians.

This bachelor's thesis aims to analyze BRIC's fast economic growth in the last decade and chances of these countries to take the leadership of the global economy. The work is divided into two parts, first one is about BRIC as a whole, that means their influence on the global economy. In the second part the attention is paid to each county separately, because each of the four BRICs has it's own historical, demographic and economic specifics.
Indo-Myanmar Relations with the Emphasis on India's Foreign Policy towards Myanmar since 1990

The objective of this thesis is to provide the reader with the information about the change of the foreign policy of India towards Myanmar in the nineties and with the consequences of this change. The historical, cultural, political and economic factors which influenced the development of relations between the two countries and forced India to reassess the priorities of its foreign policy, were analyzed. It provides an overview of different forms of economic cooperation between the two countries. The troubled Northeast Indian region, where separatist groups operate, is also discussed. The last part deals with the Indo-Myanmar cooperation in this area and their cooperation in South and Southeast Asia in general.
Assessment of the economic development of developing and transition economy

In my thesis I have focused on economic development of China and India. The goal is to compare success of transformation in these countries based on the analysis of macroeconomic developments. The whole work is divided in three parts. In the first part are theoretical basis of work. In the second part is described economic development of China and India included main economic reforms. Last part contains a comparison of macroeconomic indicators and overall evaluation of applied methods of transformation.
Cultural standards of India and their manifestation in a working environment

The paper focuses on characteristics of the Indian culture and analysis of its effect on a working environment. In the theoretical part, India will be briefly characterized from the geographic, demographic and politic point of view, and its role in international trade will be described. In the practical part, the manifestation of the Indian culture in a working environment will be analyzed based on questionnaire researches, and recommendations on how to work in the Indian environment and how to achieve an efficient cooperation with Indians will be given.
Choosen cultural atractivities of Indian tourism

This diploma thesis deals with Indian monuments and tourism. First, the basic information about India is given, followed by the analysis of Indian tourism. All the facts resulting from this part of the thesis are summarised in the SWOT analysis. The main part of the thesis deals with the tours offered by Czech travel agencies. It also includes the list of Indian monuments which were choosen according to the own experience and people's recommandation. The final part of the thesis evaluates the results of the questionnaire research. The aim is to determine the potential of Indian tourism, to give the overview of the current tourism of India and its monuments and to find out if the Czech public opinion about India confirmes the assumed thesis.
Specifics of international marketing in Indian market

The diploma thesis discusses the importance of marketing mix adaptation in order to succeed in Indian market. It evaluates the most important differences of the market and their influences on marketing activities. Specific factors affecting the marketing strategy and marketing program result from analysis of external environment and Indian consumer recognition. Some practical examples of marketing mix adaptation of successful multinational companies are listed in the last chapter. Moreover, the theses should lead to reflection of real Indian market opportunities. At the first sight the market looks pretty attractive. Upon closer examination successful market penetration seems to be very difficult.
Strategic markets for Czech exporters: Russia, China, Ukraine and India

This thesis deals with the development of mutual trade between the Czech Republic on one side and Russia, China, Ukraine and India on the other side in the last decade, focusing on export from CR to the chosen countries. It also includes a comparison of the main macroeconomic and demographic indicators describing these countries and a comparison of trade-policy terms. Furthermore it gives some recommendations to Czech exporters for their preparation for trade negotiations in the chosen countries.
The influence of cultural differences on the business negotiation between the Czech Republic and India

The aim of the thesis is to analyse cultural differences between Czech republic and India and its possible influence on business negotiation and co-operation between these two countries. The thesis dedicates to economy as key sector of the mutual relationships and consequently to cultural dimensions of Geert Hofstede. Accordong to these cultural dimensions the countries are compared. The characteristic features and specifics of the indian culture are explained in the thesis too. The last chapter describes the principles of the commercial negotiation in India.
Comparative Analysis of the Economic Growth of China and India since the mid 1990's

The content of this diploma thesis is a comparison of China and India, not only from an economic point of view, since the mid 1990's. Both countries are compared from the perspective of their specifics (geographical, political, cultural and human resources), macroeconomic indicators and economic sectors of each country. Savings, investments, foreign trade, FDI, infrastructure and membership in international organizations or corporations are all characterized throughout the paper. Prospective future developments, opportunities for foreign investments and cooperation between countries, as well as the present status of China and India in the world, are also briefly characterized in this thesis.
