The Bachelor thesis is focused on an employment relationships in terms of wage costs optimization. It describes basic terms of employment relationships, its forms and requisites. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with theoretical concepts from legal, economic and tax point of view. The second part of the bachelor thesis analyzes an employment relationships of the employers establishment, on the basis of which measures are proposed to optimize wage costs.

The bachelor's thesis deals with labor law relations, specifically the origins of employment relationship in accordance with the legal provisions in force in the territory of the Czech Republic. The objective of the bachelor thesis is to propose a solution to the problem, which is related to the lack of employees. More precisely, to optimize the number of employees and the associated payroll costs. On the basis of the analytical part, measures to optimize the number of employees and optimize wage costs will be proposed to the employers.

The practical part utilizes theoretical knowledge in order to analyze the remuneration system of a medium-sized manufacturing plant. The analysis and the consequent recommendations are directed towards the improvement of employee satisfaction and their loyalty.
