Selected lifestyle factors of the child at the beginning of school attendance (5th and 7th year of life) - the importance of family
HECZKOVÁ, Petra
Lifestyle is one of the most important factors with respect to population health. By keeping to the principles of healthy lifestyle in children we are investing in important patterns in their future lives. Future population health status is closely related to these ,,investments''. The objective of presented bachelor work ,,Selected lifestyle factors of a child at the beginning of school attendance (the 5th and 7th years of life) - the importance of family'' is to characterize parental influence in keeping to selected healthy lifestyle principles and, at the same time, to show ways how parents spend free time with their pre-school and early school-aged children in the context of healthy lifestyle. The impulse for selecting the topic of the presented work was the interest in finding how specific factors influence the child's lifestyle and in finding out whether the parents realize this influence. As a principal method for my work I selected quantitative questionnaire survey approach. A study sample consisting of children at the age of 5 and 7 years and their parents was selected. The sex of children was not considered. The study sample size corresponds with the longitudinal character of the study and is completely satisfactory as far as statistical analysis and hypotheses testing is concerned. The exact number of participants at the age of 5 is 3034 and at the age of 7 is 2781. The goal of the study was to characterize - using secondary data from the ELSPAC study - the parental influence in keeping to selected healthy lifestyle principles and, at the same time, to present ways how parents spend free time with their pre-school and early school-aged children in the context of healthy lifestyle. The 5th and 7th years of life characterize the beginning of school attendance. I established three hypotheses (related to the determined goals) in which I presume the following: parental education influences the choice of interests and ways how a child spends his/her free time at the beginning of school attendance, children's lifestyle copies lifestyle of parents, the amount of time which the parents spend with their child decreases with the child's age. The first hypothesis was partially confirmed and the survey demonstrated that the mothers' education does have an effect on some of the monitored free time activities of a five-year-old child. The second hypothesis was confirmed completely. The survey demonstrated an important effect of the mother on the pre- and early-school aged child's lifestyle. The father-child activities are limited to those in which a definite effect on the child's lifestyle cannot be confirmed. The third hypothesis was also completely confirmed. It was confirmed that the amount of parent-child activities diminishes when compared in five- and seven-year-old children. The benefit of this work is that it gives an indication of the family's influence on the lifestyle of a child at the beginning of school attendance and its possible use in the area of preventive medicine, with respect to increasing numbers of overweight children with diminished physical performance. Accentuating prevention in basic elements of healthy lifestyle is crucial, especially as it should carry over to everyday family life, targeting primarily parents. The parents should be informed about the magnitude of the impact their own behavior and lifestyle can have on their children's future health status and life in general.

Simple Experiments with Naturally Occurring Materials in Chemistry Education: Support of Empirical Method and Development of Related Competences
Böhmová, Hana
of Ph.D. Thesis Simple Experiments with Naturally Occurring Materials in Chemistry Education: Support of Empirical Method and Development of Related Competences Mgr. Hana Böhmová The doctoral thesis is focused on the problem of gaining empirical knowledge in chemistry education, on the acquirement of related competences, and on the activities which would contribute to the improvements in chemistry education in this area. The aims set in the first part of the thesis were fulfilled. I have confirmed the insufficient level of the competences acquirement among the Czech students, such as formulation and verification of a hypothesis, planning and carrying out a simple experiment, interpretation of collected data or drawing conclusions. Main cause of this problem could be insufficient opportunity to develop these competences in school chemistry (or science) education at ground and high school level. Experimental activities of individual students are rare in Czech chemistry lessons. The teachers quote that the main problem responsible for this situation is missing equipment for practical activities in their schools and absence of suitable school experiments reflecting the given safety directives. Considering these findings, I have created a set of simple chemistry experiments utilizing natural products and...

Planning Private Business Start-Up
El Alioui, Safaa ; Hrůzová, Helena (advisor) ; Halík, Jaroslav (referee)
The main objective of the thesis is to use several managerial tools in order to plan how to start a private Moroccan-Czech business in the Czech Republic. In order to achieve this goal, the main objective was subdivided in a set of partial goals. To start a business includes firstly to have an idea and to consider its viability through a feasibility study before planning its execution. Secondly, to support the startup process from the procedural point of view, it is reasonable to use project management since it revealed processes that are common to any project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, control and closure. The application of these processes helps to create a structured action plan. In order to answer all questions, the thesis is divided in three steps. In the first one, project management is explained as well as its concepts and processes and application method. The second step describes the methodology of a startup business; and the third step is the achievement of the constructed methodology in a real business planning, that is monitored and evaluated continuously. The result of the thesis is a business idea verified as viable through a feasibility study. Then a business plan is prepared in order to detail the opportunity, strategy and financial expectations; this document is a key to find investors, funding or associates and should consider potential risks and how to avoid or solve them. When the financial and material requirements are met, the legal and administrative procedures as well as the company installation can start. The thesis also includes a time schedule and budget to every activity which have to be respected and continuously controlled during the business operation executing. However, some risks may appear during the project, and a good preparation and planning means keeping in mind the project's achievement.

Šnorek, Michal ; Střítecký, Rudolf (advisor) ; Kovář, František (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to formulate strategic analysis of České Budějovice Hospital. Analyzed subject appertains to the health service sector in South Bohemian Region (that restricts its operating space) and plays dominant role in this consolidated and well structured sector. Furthermore, smaller subjects complete the marketplace and constitute the competitive fringe. Strengths of České Budějovice Hospital comprise heritage, unique resources and providing of complex healthcare. Poor self promotion, rare scientific activities and inconvenient condition of some buildings are major weaknesses. Rational and effective providing of primary, specialized and super specialized healthcare is principal mission of the analyzed subject and relates to Porter's differentiation strategy formulation. Realization of the strategy is not part of this thesis.

Vítová, Eva ; Skýbová, Jana (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (referee)
The subject of the rigorous work is the proposition of the nature trail in the national park Divoká Šárka including the didactic utilization in the course of biology lessons at the primary school. The theoretical part contains the description of the territory including the geographic definition and the profile of individual categories of plant, animal and geographical comhonents. Simultaneously there are mentioned the historical relations in the region corresponding to the conterporary appearance of the landscape and that of biological diversities and the manners of the care resulting out of that. The main target of the rigorous work was to create proposals of notice boards for the nature trail that is to be implemented in this national park and its nearby surroundings. Notice boards should serve to increase the knowladge of the poblic concerning this region and simultaneously to guide it to the more responsible conduct in this site. Owing to the accessability by means of public municipal transport the site is suitable for the organization of school educational visits. For that reason there were elaborated working sheets that correspond to the subjects of notice boards of the nature trail, but at the same time i tis possible to use them with minor changes for another site. The practical part of the rigorous...

Tabakism in the context of lemure among secondary school students
ŠETELÍKOVÁ, Barbora
This bachelor thesis deals with leisure time and the incidence of the cigarettes at the current high school students. The theoretical part is divided into two parts, where the first outlines the problems of smoking (active and passive), with related consequences and prevention. The second part focuses on leisure, its active and passive forms, after-school institucions that students can attend and fill an empty space in free time. The practical part is divided again into two parts. First the whole practical part describes the design and implementation of the questionnaire, which was conducted through research on two type of schools: grammar school and secondary vocational school. Both schools are located in Jindřichův Hradec. The reconnaissance took pupils first and third classes, age range was 15-21 years. The second part of the practical part is devoted to the evaluation questionnaires and analysis of results. Analysis of the results is carried out as a comparison between the positions of the students of grammar school and the students of secondary vocational school. Research results can secondary schools serve the general direction of the leisure of its students while they may be due to increased emphasis on prevention of risky behavior, both in lessons and in after-school activities.

Novotný, Petr ; Dvořáková, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Němec, Jan (referee)
How can funding of political parties affect the outcome of elections? What impact has the legislation on financing political parties on political system? Is it possible that the government's political parties using this scheme remain in power? I will bring in this work the current theoretical background by leading experts on financing of political parties, as well as a separate chapter on giving patterns, showing signs of functionality and portability to other political systems. Finally, I will analyze trends of legislative funding of political parties in the Czech Republic, the current adjustment and its impact on the Czech political system. In all areas, I will try to identify the basic areas of problems and dilemmas. I will outline possible solutions where appropriate, to which I result of studying the theory, or of my own invention. In conclusion the objective of such analysis is to monitor and verify the following hypotheses. 1. Amendments to legislation are intended to enhance the transparency of the financing of political parties and to prevent corrupt behavior. 2. The funding of political parties tends to strengthen their cartelization, i.e. making access of political parties outside the establishment to high politics difficult. 3. The legislation meets the basic requirements placed on it, its implementation is feasible and its compliance is enforceable. The keywords are: the funding of political parties, (mainland) horizontal contribution, (Canadian) system of tax credits, (German) matching funds, contribution to the work, contribution to the electoral costs, contribution to the mandate, the Constitutional Court.

Formulation of the requisition for services related to Internet communication
Langr, Lukáš ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
In this work, I would like to focus on the issue related to the formulation of requirements for the delivery of services related to Internet communications, specifically to its most common form - websites. The goal of my work is to introduce the aspects of the implementation of the web pages (from basic business presentations to complex web applications such as e-shop or community site) to creators of the requisition, who are prepared to enter the world of the Internet. Provide them with an overview across the typical features of web applications to be able to formulate their own requirements for a successful website. The knowledge will serve them in the choice of supplier of the solution and also in the first stage of the subsequent implementation. The opening part of my work will be dedicated to description of the basic services related to Internet communications, such as internet service providing or applications hosting on dedicated servers. In the next chapter is already focusing on the specification of the requisition for the delivery of services related to the development and maintenance of websites. This includes the definition of those services, clarification of the types of websites and applications. While we are formulating any kind of requisition, it is important to follow certain procedures and forms. For this reason, I dedicated one of the chapters to specifications of the structure of a typical requisition document related to web applications. In the finals chapters, I will focus on the requisition for websites from different perspectives, such as the graphic appearance, functionality, accessibility and usability, security and ultimately the running web applications and internet marketing.

The diaries of Zdenka Braunerová (1873-1883)
