The diploma thesis describes and maps the overall rental market in selected locality Pardubice and is made up of text and graphs. First gives a general view of rental housing and then compares the amount of the rentals of apartments in various parts of the city and consider amendments to the lease. Collected data are divided into apartments for the 1 + 1 and 1 + 2 + 1 and, 3 +1 . For each group creates a map of rents.

Pension for Seniors

This master's thesis describes the design of new pension for seniors on the outskirts of the city of Zlín. The new building is situated in flat terrain. The building has three floors and no basement. The purpose of master’s thesis is to build a building for residential flats with a special purpose, partly for residential social care and provision of health care to seniors and the nearby surroundings. The remaining part of the building consists of social, administrative and facilities. Two separate entrances lead to the object. Both are accessible from the eastern boundary of the property. Roofing is solved by single-flat roof.

Premium Student Housing in Olomouc.

This diploma thesis deals with the processing of project documentation of student housing in the city of Olomouc. The building is located near the university dormitory accommodation of Palacky University. It is designed to complement the missing type of accommodation. Building is a L-shaped five-storey, without a basement and with a flat roof. Structural system is mostly brick, only part of first floor is solved by columns. The building is divided into three building complexes. Two wings for the accommodation have 4 floors. The connector block has five floors, where the 5th floor is only the engine room. Foundation structures are concrete strips and foundation pads. South side of the building is protected from the sun by sunscreens, on which in a future could be installed photovoltaics. The building is divided into three parts in terms of functionality. 1.NP consists of commercial premises in the southern block and private rooms for accommodated in the eastern block. 2nd-4th floor forms spaces designed to accommodate students. Accommodation capacity is 105 people.

Proposal for a multifunctional building on the corner of Bratislavská and Stará. The specified plot is located in the city of Brno Zabrdovice. Its great advantage is its proximity to the city center, which makes it ideal future potential as an area suitable for housing, which also currently is. The proposed building is a townhouse, the primary function of housing and street trading partners. The concept is to complement the corner and the creation of the interior courtyards.

Communication of the Mlada Boleslav City in Years 2009-10

The focus of this literary work is to analyze the communication activities of the corporate town of Mlada Boleslav in 2009 through 2010. The analysis will focus on the town and its affiliation with its surroundings, specifically the impact the town has on local tourism. The aim is to discover whether the town used a compact marketing strategy and its effectiveness. Furthermore, this work also attempts to clarify the issues involving the co-operation between the town and Skoda Auto a.s. The company has a strong impact on the life of local residence as well as on local tourism. As a result of my analysis, references to currently promotion materials, and the utilization of individual communication channels I will point out possible problematic areas. I will also provide possible improvements that can be made in order to establish a more effective future communication strategy of Mlada Boleslav as a positive tourism destination and a friendly neighborhood.

Rental Housing

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of the current situation of state housing policy in the Czech Republic and its vision for the future, analysis and description of rental housing and its availability to the population and concepts of social housing in effect in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is the analysis of rental housing in relation to social housing and ownership in the city Břeclav. I intended to examine which tools use housing policy to meet the wishes and needs of the population, how to increase the availability of housing, the quality or stability in terms of stable sources of funding. I also tried to assess the current situation in the housing market, particularly rental housing, and the concept of social housing in the Czech Republic. To analyze the state of the housing fund of the city Břeclav, I used materials published by the municipality, especially development, strategic and spatial plans and documents issued by the City Council.

Energy metabolism of the Prague city

2 Abstract City is complex urban system. In human society city is biggest energy dissipative structure. Therefore it is important to understand how energy flows in to city, what main energy carriers are and what total energy requirements are. Prague was chosen as a model city for this case study. Prague is modern city, capital of the country housing, employing, accommodating and entertaining more than one and half million people daily. There are some significant differences between average country energy consumption and Prague energy consumption. Prague is touristic centre and destination of many travellers that come to country. Also Prague lack high concentration of heavy industry. There are very few electricity producers, most of time small entertainment or producers electricity from alternative fuels (e.g. central water treatment facility) and most of electricity is transported to Prague from other regions. Heat is produced from primary fuels centrally, but there is significant flow of heat through heat pipe from other regions. This diploma thesis presents results of the case study on Prague energy metabolism. The subject of bachelor work was to resolve the problematic parcel near the center of town, where there is a car parking. The proposed functions of the house based on the needs of the city, it is a library, housing and parking. Form and material design of the house corresponds to the concept of urban space.
