1 Abstract Adamů Miloš: Czechoslovak Embassy in Moscow in the years 1945-1948 Praha: The Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, 2011 188 s., The diploma thesis. The thesis monitors and evaluates the activities of the Czechoslovak Embassy in Moscow in the critical post-war years 1945-1948. It attempts to process the structure of the diplomatic and partly personnel corps, including changes that gradually occurred in the office. The task of the thesis is also monitoring the influence of inland events on the running of the embassy and its important leaders in those four years. The thesis largely follows the events of February 1948, which meant milestone situations for the Czechoslovak Embassy's activities and significantly influenced the lives of most of its employees. The ambassadors take the important place and they are given a high attention. The thesis also notes the fates of the selected persons in 1948. Accounting and tax consequences of the Business corporation act

The diploma thesis deals with the new legal regulation of trading companies. The aim is to present the legal regulation of trading companies and so to connect the Business corporation act with the accounting and tax regulations. The first part presents the basic aspects of the regulation of trading companies in the system of the new legal regulation. It deals with the mutual position of the new Civil code and the Business corporation act and occupies itself with the general reglation of legal persons, that applies to trading companies. This part is being followed with the presentation of general requirements of the Business corporation act. The second part analyses the personal companies, where the special attention is dedicated to deposit duty, that can be paid for by doing work. The last part presents the capital companies and the special attention is dedicated ty paying of prepayments on share on profit (dividends) in these companies. The thesis is completed with a lot of practical examples and diagrams.

Position of Kooperativa insurance company in the Czech insurance market

Kooperativa pojišťovna, a.s., Vienna Insurance Group is the second largest insurance company in conditions of the Czech insurance market. Kooperativa is an universal insurance company, which offers insurance products and services to individuals and companies. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to define a position of Kooperativa commercial insurance company in the Czech insurance market. In order to reach the object of the thesis is necessary to respect for insurance's characteristics, specifics and main competitors. The first part of the thesis is focused on basic information about company and insurance products. The second part is dedicated to company's economy, which includes analysis of premium written, financial statement and ratios of financial analysis.

Displacement of German population in Cheb region 1945-1948

The handed bachelor?s work concerns with Czech-German relationship after Second World War particularly between years 1945-1948. It is focused on the sad sequel of Second World War when occurred the biggest transport of people in the Czech state history- displacement of Sudeten Germans. In the first part of my work is sketched the characteristic of the period which preceded turn of events. These events resulted with the start of Adolf Hitler?s power and with Second World War. Then I described the first ideas of displacement which were formulated by exile President Edvar Beneš in England and also by the atmosphere, which took control over Czech nation after the end of Second World War. Hate and desire for the revenge for repression years caused by Nazi Germans culminated by displacement of 2,2 million of German population. The first part also concerns with the causes, course and consequences of Germans? displacement form the Czechoslovakia. The second part is focused on the post-war situation in Cheb region. Cheb, which was the town with almost exclusively German population, did not experience ?unrestrained? displacement which took place in the majority of the Czechoslovakia. This part briefly sketched the picture of the pre-war situation in Cheb region, release by American army and first of all the accomplishment of displacement of Germans from this region. ?

The objectives and results of the reform of public finances in the Czech republic 2007 - 2010 in the tax area

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the objectives of reform of public finances in the years 2007 - 2010, mainly in the tax area. The main objective of the reform was to reduce the public deficit, reducing government debt and the administrative costs associated with collecting the tax due on the taxpayer and the state. The most significant changes were applied in the context of tax on personal income tax so that devote the greatest attention. In the context of public finance reform changes in the tax system are also applied. This is a new law on income tax, new tax rules and creating a single collection point. All these modifications have lead to the simplification of legislation and tax administration and thereby reducing administrative costs. In the evaluation, I compared the determined objectives and actual results and concluded that the objectives were not fulfilled. On the other hand, it must be stressed that the objectives of the reform were and are largely influenced by the impact of economic crisis and an unstable political environment.

Transformation of the National Front under the leadership of Marine Le Pen

Diploma thesis Transformation of the National Front under the leadership of M. Le Pen discusses the influence of the new chairwoman on political party. Thesis deals with the far-right National Front in context of both political and partial systems of the Fifth republic in the background of historical development of far-right parties. Work aims to uphold the hypothesis that in the life of political parties play an important role its leader, who influences the transformation of the political party and to map the current activities of M. Le Pen, who replaced her father, J.-M. Le Pen, after nearly four decades at the leader post. Replacing the leader represented a significant step in history of party as it was for a long time strongly personified with the person of J.-M. Le Pen, who managed to lead the party, despite its internal diversity. New chairwoman, who, unlike her father has no emphasis on the memories of the past, which was the World War II, the Vichy Regime and French Algeria, tries to modernize the party for a new generation of voters. With the entry of M. Prague coronation of king Matthias on 23rd may 1611 in the light of contemporary documents

To the coronations which took place in Pre-White time, not enough attention has been paid yet. As it appears, enough accounts were preserved not only in contemporary prints but also in manuscript sources - in the works of chroniclers, in memories of persons present and above all in official and private correspondence. In addition to writen sources also material sorces and great part of iconographic sources have been preserved. The elaboration and evaluation of the sources to one of them, to the coronation of Matthias of Habsburg in Prague on May 23rd 1611, is a subject of the first half of this thesis. The coronation in the life of souvereign is a ceremony that generally certificates his leading position in the country. This ceremony customary is executed in accordance to the prede- terminated order. In case of the lands of Bohemian crown binding form has been set by coronation order of Bohemian kings Ordo ad coronandum Regem Bohemorum, prepared by Charles IV. The main core of this order was maintained also by Matthias coronation. His coronation in the cathedrale of Saint Vitus was a festive ceremony strongly influenced by then political situation. Possibilities of the tax yield predictions - theoretical aspects and factors influencing the revenue taxes yield

My bachelor work considers the theoretical aspects of tax yield predictions. The main goal of the work is identification the factors, which are influencing these predictions and especially revenue taxes. The factors are divided according to measure of influencing the prediction. First group includes the general factors, for example political and technological influence. The factors in next group are directly entering the forecasting models, there are the main macroeconomical indicators like economic growth, inflation, structure of labour market, etc. The last part of the work analyses the particular factors influencing the prediction of the revenue taxes yield.

Nursing care for woman at minor gynecological surgeries

Minor gynecological surgeries are defined as surgeries after which the patients are dismissed from hospital to home care within 12 to 24 hours. The purpose of pre-surgery care provided by a midwife is to ensure thorough somatic and mental preparation of the patient for the surgery. The patient is required to sign all necessary consents with the surgery, she shall be informed about the course of pre-surgery care, the surgery itself, post-surgery recovery and naturally also about all risks involved. The result of a consistent instruction provided by a midwife shall be a patient who is calm and mentally prepared for the surgery (Henková, 2010; Repková, 2006). The bachelor thesis includes a theoretical part and a practical part with research. The theoretical part focuses on minor gynecological surgeries and nursing care before and after the surgery. The objective of the bachelor thesis was to survey the level of awareness among women about minor gynecological surgeries. Two research questions were formulated to meet the objective: what the level of awareness about minor gynecological surgeries is among women and which method of information provision would be appreciated by women. The research part of the bachelor thesis employed the method of qualitative survey. The data were collected by means of semi-structured interviews. The surveyed set of respondents consisted of 8 women. The interviews were conducted from the beginning of February to the end of March 2014. The survey was expected to provide information about whether the women had been sufficiently informed about minor gynecological surgeries. For the category of pre-surgery period we investigated the following: What is the experience of women with previous nursing care? To what extent were the women informed by their local gynecologists and were they sufficiently informed in the hospital before the surgery? The results have shown that most of the respondents did not have any previous experience with nursing care. Two respondents said that they had previously undergone a minor surgery and that they were content with the nursing care. Results of the survey have shown some gaps in the form and quantity of information provided in medical offices of the local gynecologists. One half of the respondents were not content with the information provided in the medical offices. The information provided in the hospital before the surgery was assessed positively by five respondents out of eight and they appreciated particularly the personal and accommodating approach, professional conduct and empathy. For the category of post-surgery period we investigated how the respondents saw the approach of the nursing staff in the operating room. The results have shown that the respondents evaluated positively particularly the fact that the physician introduced himself/herself to the patient and provided information about the subsequent care. For the category of post-surgery care we also investigated subjective feelings of the respondents after the surgery, their awareness of the post-surgery regime at home and the form of information provision. Results of the research suggest that patients are highly perceptive, particularly when it comes to friendly gestures and words. The information about the home post-surgery regime was rated positively by one half of the respondents and negatively by the other half. On the other hand, they appreciated the personal and accommodating approach and professional conduct. Most of the respondents were content with the form of information provision. Some of them would have appreciated to have a leaflet or information brochure containing all important information. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis can be as used as a study material for future students of midwifery at the Faculty of Health and Social Studies of the University of South Bohemia.

The Czechoslovak broadcasting company and the political suits - the analysis of political suits in the broadcasting in 1949 - 1952

ANNOTATION The main theme of the thesis is the operation of the Czechoslovak broadcasting company in the defined period 1949 ? 1952 with the accent on its propagandistic role during the broadcasting of political suits. This thesis is set up on the assumption that radio used to be the significant mass medium in that time and it made the communist propaganda perfect. The theoretical part deals with the introduction of the epoch by the end of 40´s and the beginning of 50´s and it is put into with the evolution of the broadcasting company. It focuses on the organisation of society, the formation of public opinion, the economic situation, the political party of KSČ and particularly the history of political suits, which comprised the most important crossroads of studied epoch. This part also includes the Czechoslovak broadcasting company ? programmatic changes, personal cast and the whole organisation of radio structure. The practical part applies to the propaganda of communism according to the example of Soviet federation, censoring in radio and firstly the presentation of political suits in broadcast transmission. The aim of the thesis is to give the compact perspective on 50´s and to point out activities of the radio dealing with illegality and persecution of innocent people.
