Results of animal production and their economical evaluation
OPIČKOVÁ, Jitka
In operating conditions there was evaluated the animal production (dairycow breeding) by means of selected economic indicators. In Agrodružstvo Načeradec there were monitored the basic principles of dairycows nutrition and feeding and their milk production as well. The attention was paid to expense items and their modifications with respect to the production. I aimed at monitoring costs (feeding cost, labour cost, services cost etc.), yields, profit or loss in 2005 {--} 2006. During the monitoring period there was found that dairycows are profitable. The rate of milk production profitability was 12 % in 2005 (the ČR average is 3,8 %). In 2006 the rate of profitability dropped to 3,02 %. This drop was caused by the price policy of dairy industry by milk purchase. Simply we can say that milk production in Načeradec is profitable thanks to high efficiency of dairycows.

Influence of unisex rates on the life insurance market
Vondráčková, Hana ; Řezanková, Hana (advisor) ; Zemánek, Martin (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with possible reaction of life insurance companies to legislative decree, in which the European Union forbid, within the equality of sexes, to use sex as a factor for assessing different amount of premium between men and women. Using analysis of the product pricing of five important insurance companies helps to show, which risks (and to which extent) this change covers. Because there will be limited possibility to decide on the premium amount according to one of the most important parameters, it can be expected, this decision will have significant influence on the whole insurance market and it will indicate direction of life insurance to the future. Decision about business strategy is influenced also by other entries, such as position of the insurance company, its business network etc. As the most likely direction of market development is here considered new or more distinctive segmentation of clients, hence there are, on accessible data, using the hypothesis about the relative frequency, tested propositions of the new criteria, which could help determine more fair premium.

Zaschkeová, Soňa ; Kotrusová, Miriam (advisor) ; Kotíková, Jaromíra (referee)
Long-term unemployment brings negative consequences for the state and individuals. Besides the financial impacts on the state (lower incomes, expenditures for social transfers), for the long-term unemployed people from the social and psychological perspective this is a reduction in living standards, loss of social status, skills and abilities decline, decrease of social contacts, etc. Unemployed persons have not got income from their own economic aktivity, and that is why they are provided with social benefits in material need in the frame of the system of social protection.Their long-term receiving, however, often leads to the trap of poverty and welfare dependency. Employment agencies strive for return of these people back to the labour market through thein instruments of active employment policy. This thesis is focused on public service, which was introduced to the system of poverty relief in 2009 as the motivation and penalty measures to increase the activity of long-term unemployed. The theoretical starting points of this study are findings on poverty, social exclusion, living wage. The empirical section is dedicated to the analysis of public service as an instrument of the social policy, in particular it is then focused on its activation component. The research design of the work is a case...

Contribution of New Immunosuppressants after Heart Transplantation
Skalická, Blanka ; Málek, Ivan (advisor) ; Horký, Karel (referee) ; Lischke, Robert (referee)
Background: Acute cellular rejection and graft vascular disease are major factors limiting the survival after orthotopic heart transplantation (OHTx). Tacrolimus could be more potent than cyclosporin A in therapy of recurrent acute rejection episodes in OHTx patients. Dyslipidemia is one of the risk factors involved in the development of graft vascular disease. Statins are common part of standard drug regimen after OHTx. On the other hand, they are potentially dangerous as they could interact with cyclosporin A. Study in healthy volunteers showed that tacrolimus should have no interactions with statins. Aim: In the first study we retrospectively assessed the effect of switching patients after OHTx with recurrent cellular rejection episodes from cyclosporin A to tacrolimus. In the second (prospective) study we evaluated the efficacy and safety of combined therapy with tacrolimus and atorvastatin in patients after OHTx with dyslipidemia. (...) Conclusions: Tacrolimus has a beneficial effect not only on recurrent acute rejection episodes in heart transplant recipients but it also decreases the incidence of future rejection episodes. In patients after OHTx with dyslipidemia switching to tacrolimus and atorvastatin could be a suitable therapeutic option, because this combination is safe and effective in...

Marketing Communication in the International Marketing
Šíšová, Lenka ; Boučková, Jana (advisor) ; Vašková, Dana (referee)
Abstrakt: Marketing communication is one of the most culture-oriented tool of the marketing mix. The companies can use different strategies in the international marketing communication. These strategies must be based on the all-over strategy of the company. The general strategy is divided into particular strategies for divisions and departments of the company (marketing department, sales, production etc.). We observe two main strategies in the international communication of the companies -- globalisation strategy which tries to normalize all marketing communication activities through different countries, whereas the adaptation strategy forces the companies to think locally and act locally. Global company Sara Lee operates at almost all the markets of the world and owns about 80 different brands of food, beverages, body-care and house-care products. In Czech Republic Sara Lee owns a leading brand in tea market -- the Pickwick brand. The Pickwick brand is an international brand because besides Czech Republic it operates also on the other 7 markets in Europe and also in the United States. The tea market in the Czech Republic is very important for Pickwick Brand, because it is one of the markets where Pickwick enjoys the biggest success. The specifics of this market are based not only on the consumer behaviour and preferences, but also on the activities of the competition and also activities of the various sales channels of which the most important are the international retail chains. International communication of the Pickwick brand is based on the marketing strategy approved centrally. The communication strategy, positioning of the brand and tactical steps are decided by the managers of different countries together. We can see either normalisation features or adaptation features in the communication strategy of the Pickwick brand. The examples are the activation of the novelties of the Pickwick brand in Czech Republic or Hungary. Both countries have chosen a different concept of 360° idea, which they worked out in different activations. The Pickwick brand develops in long-term, and nowadays her goal is to strenghten its well-being segment (green, white and herbal teas), because this segment is the most dynamic one. Besides this segment the Pickwick brand could also focus on other, smaller segments such as teas for children. A large number of the products in originally "adult" categories prove that this segment is very interesting and attractive, too. The Pickwick brand has done alrady the ads focused on children, and that's why the brand could follow easily the communication schemes.
