This thesis deals with the use of unmanned airborne vehicles especially in environmental sectors. Gradually they describe the different types and characteristics of aircraft. The introduction explains the historical development and the legislation applicable to the management of unmanned airborne vehicle. Another part deals with processing of the results acquired with the help of UAVs. It is explained by the physical principle of data collection. The following describes the different types of data that can be obtained by placing different sensors and cameras for UAV support. This is a multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal imaging and lidar sensors. It explains the process of evaluating the measurement data in the GIS environment. Work also addresses the evaluation of the images taken by UAV with the help of a semi automated software. The paper presents examples of the world's most pervasive software. Attention was also placed on the use of individual outputs. The last section provides examples of the use of UAVs or software on concrete examples, where the UAV resources necessary tool for the project implementation.

The role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT in agricultural sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Franěk, Václav ; Kandakov, Alexander (advisor) ; Hes, Tomáš (referee)
Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the poorest countries in Europe. Agriculture was in the 1990s as well as the whole country devastated by war conflict and needed the necessary transformation. Information and communication technologies (ICT) can help with faster development of agriculture in rural areas of the country, improving the competitiveness of small farmers, on which stands the whole agriculture of Bosnia and Herzegovina and, ultimately, improving its competitiveness in the international market. The aim of my thesis was deeper search analysis of literary sources in the context of the use of information and communication technologies in the agricultural sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Using information and communication technologies in agriculture may be then justified by the increasing consumption of food or expanding coverage for mobile phones and expansion of the Internet connection. However, Internet penetration in rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which stand on agriculture, is not on high level. But the actions of the government and local authorities are gradually moving towards rural development by using information and communication technologies, for example by introducing faster 3G Internet. Small farmers are also the most vulnerable to changes of food prices, in which can be information and communication technologies also helpful. The most important recommendation and conclusion would be using rather mobile devices instead of desktop computers or laptops.

Ice cream with additional value
Melicharová, Barbora ; Potůčková, Miroslava (advisor) ; Lidmila, Lidmila (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarise current knowledge about production and properties of ice cream with an additional value. Nowadays, incorporation of probiotics is considered as the most intensively studied possibility for functional ice cream manufacture. Their viability depends on the kind of a microorganism, for example bifidobacteria are mostly less stable than lactobacilli in ice cream matrix. Lactobacillus acidophilus AB518, AK414, Lactobacillus agilis AA1773, AC1888 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus AB2010 were chosen as suitable strains for ice cream production because of their stability during manufacture and storage processes and also digestion. Viability of probiotic cultures in ice cream matrix can be negatively influenced by lethal damage of living cells during manufacture processes and storage. Critical points are freezing of ice cream mixture and temperature fluctuation during storage. The basic ingredients (milk fat, proteins, lactose, sweeteners, hydrocolloids, air bubbles, fruit ingredients) naturally protect starters against these impacts. Survival of probiotics can be also supported by prebiotics inuline and oligofructose (> 9 %) addition, by microorganisms incorporation into chocolate chips (> 23 %) or by starter microencapsulation into calcium alginate (> 30 %). Probiotic microorganisms addition influences also sensory profile of the final product. To minimize their effect is recommended to incorporate them before the freezing step. Good sensory profile had for example ice cream containing Lactobacillus reuteri and Bifidobacterium bifidum. Probiotic ice-creams could have poorer aroma, yoghurt taste or unpleasant probiotic taste, but on the other hand pleasant fresh sauer taste, higher viscosity, homogenity, smoothness and resistance to melting. Their sensory quality can be also positively influenced by adding milk fat, hydrocolloids (guar gum, xanthan) and sauer fruit ingredients (strawberries) or by overrun (60 90 vol. %). Moreover, probiotic ice cream is possible to use as a carrier of other health beneficial ingedients, for example essential substances (fatty acids, minerals, vitamins particularly calcium and vitamin D), fibre and antioxidants. It was observed that probiotic ice cream containing Bifidobacterium lactis and Lactobacillus acidophilus had anticariogenic effect.

Low- and nonenergy sweeteners
Trnková, Lenka ; Orsák, Matyáš (advisor) ; Hniličková, Helena (referee)
Low- and no-calorie sugar subtistutes are compounds that provide food with its sweet taste. As the term suggests, they have lower or no food energy and usually are characterized by higher sweetness than sucrose. For that reason, these substances are especially used during the treatment of diabetes mellitus, to reduce the energy content of food or in prevention of dental caries. Natural sweeteners were discovered a long time ago, during the search for sustenance. For example Stevia was used by South American Natives even before the European conquest of the territory. However, the history of artificial sweeteners is not too significant, because it relates to breaking the laboratory rules. That is how saccharin was invented in 1878. Sugar substitutes are added to food on purpose, adjusting the taste or extending the shelf life of foods. In the EU, every approved sweetener has got an E-code, which is displayed on the label. Sugar substitutes can be grouped according to their origin, their nutrition value or their chemical structure. This thesis discusses low- and no-calorie sugar substitutes that can be synthetic or natural. Mentioned synthetic sweeteners typically contain less then 21 kJ per portion. These intensive food additives possess many times the sweetness of sucrose. The main representatives of this group are saccharin, cyclamate, acesulfame K, sucralose and aspartame with its derivatives. The group of natural sugar substitutes constits of substances like erythritol, D-tagatose, trehalose, neohesperidin dihydrochalcone, stevioside and thaumatin. There are some limitations confirmed by expert studies. For example, patients suffering from diabetes mellitus should mainly use synthetic sweeteners, because of their low nutritional value. Even though in some states certain sweeteners are forbidden, safety studies say that there are no adverse effects, if the recommended daily intake is respected. Sugar substitutes, therefore, can be considered safe.

The renovation of historical parks near the small feudal residences on the example of the study of the renovation of the castle garden in Doudleby nad Orlici in Eastern Bohemia.

Molecular simulations unravel preference of haloalkanes for the air/water interface
Habartová, Alena ; Minofar, Babak ; Obisesan, A. ; Roeselová, Martina
Halogenated organics are emitted into the atmosphere from a variety of sources of both natural and anthropogenic origin (Finlayson-Pitts et al., 2000). Their uptake at the surface of aerosols can affect their reactivity, for example in processes which take part in ozone destruction due to production of reactive chlorine, bromine and iodine radicals. This study presents results of molecular dynamic (MD) simulations carried out to investigate the interaction of short-chain haloalkanes with aqueous surfaces. We report on a free energy minimum that the haloalkanes exhibit at the air/water interface.

Results of nesting and breeding of some species of birds Family (Timaliidae, Passeriformes) in the zoo Praha
JANDOVÁ, Ivana
Babblers together with the close related Timallidae are not very common inmates of the zoological gardens. In the Czech Republic they are only bred in the zoological gardens in Ohrada, Pilsen and Prague. The breeding in the zoological gardens is not generally very successful. The zoo in Prague with its number of species owns the largest collection of these birds in Europe. In the past the breeders in Prague were the first ones in Europe who managed to raise for example Rufous-fronted Laughingthrush, Sunda Laughingthrush, Barred Laughingthrush or Sumatran Laughingthrush (Black-and-white Laughingthrush). As the first ones in the Czech Republic they were able to reproduce the critically endagered Blue-crowned Laughingthrush (Courtois's Laughingthrush). The Blue-crowned Laughingthrush is so rare that for several years it was not clear at all if they still live in nature. In the year 2000 they were rediscovered in the number of 240 pieces. The quantity of them in the zoological gardens all over the world does not exceed 100 pieces. The zoo in Chester does a European breeding book of these pieces. Some birds in Prague reproduce repetitively and they prove that the right method of the breeding was found. Hopefully this method would lead to the birth of the securing population in the care of humans. This securing population is very important for the protection of these birds. The attempt of this work is to assess the links between the results of the breeding and their conditions, the comparison of the nesting activities of the two chosen species of babblers, then the summarizing of the expansion and the results of the breeding of the individual species and also the processing of the expansion, the development of the quantity and the problems of the protection of the babblers in nature. The following facts were found out: the breeding of the birds in the exposition or in its environment does not have an essential influence on their nesting activity. However, for the nesting activity it is more important if they are a newly formed couple or a couple paired for a longer time and at the forest babbler it is the female that has an important role in incubation period. However, at the Sumatran Laughingthrush there is a frequent changing in different time intervals. The work also shows that only 5 species out of 12, that showed the nesting activity, are able to build a nest without the help of the keepers. That can be attributed to their closer relational breeding and also to putting the higher number of artificially reared individuals into the breeding.

Invenio within the NRGL: Version 1.0 and More News
Slouková, Jana
Both digital repositories maintained by NTK (NRGL and IDR) are powered by the open source software Invenio. Its great flexibility allows us its continuous development and adaptation to our needs. This year we added several features that make it easier to work with the repositories - for example, we improved the search, presentation of records, and added export to various citation managers. Following the release of new version of Invenio, we also created a new freely available installation script, that facilitates the installation and basic configuration of the system to those interested in creating their own repository.

Map of criminality in Prague
Cibulka, Jan
I plan to show how the Prague Crime Map was created. The starting point was data published officially by the Police, followed by a more specific database, which I requested from the Police. We will look at the first attempt to visualize the data, which failed spectacularly. On this example I will demonstrate the importance and necessity of analysis before data requests and project launching. I will also show how the second version of the map was created in cooperation with the Czech Statistical Office. Finally, demonstration of final data refining and its visualization will be shown. The map itself should be more accurate than the current map of crime compiled by the Police (the project is still running, final version should be ready by the end of August).
