Design and construction of heat exchanger
Teofil, Daniel ; Vojáčková, Jitka (referee) ; Foral, Štěpán (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design, calculate and construct the heat exchanger for teaching purposes at the Department Of Electrical Power Engineering. The importance of heat exchangers in industry and conditions for the construction together with chosen solution is discussed in introductory part. The next part deals with calculations of heat transfer and behaviour of fluids flowing through the heat exchanger. The next part provides a description of the heat exchanger construction. In conlusion of this thesis, there are examined the differences between theoretically calculated values and experimentally determined values of the outlet temperature.
Technology of manufacturing of titan exhaust
Hrubý, Patrik ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The Diploma Thesis deals with the technology of manufacturing the titan exhaust for a two-stroke engine. It includes a description of the manufacturing procedure. It analyzes in detail the forming issue of sheet-metal parts in order to eliminate the spring-back effect, and it finds possible solutions to this problem.
Comparison of Selected Ways of Pricing of Houses Located in Kroměříž and Surroundings
Štípalová, Hana ; Klika, Pavel (referee) ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (advisor)
The Master's thesis is engaged in analyse of methods of pricing and comparison of each other. This work is compiled from historical evolution of prising immovables, over adjustment prising in international prising standards, over defination elementary conceptions to analysis selected ways of prising of houses. The Master's thesis analyses process of prising methods and analyses sources which we need to compile a ways of prising. These are most important things to know, when we want to compare ways of prising. There are ten houses in this work from Kroměříž and surroundings. The main target of master's thesis is to ratify and to explain that location of houses and their surroundings are the most importatnt. These two points of view influenced price and salableing of houses. There is a comparison of ways of prising houses at the end of work
Steam boiler for demolition wood
Mazal, Lubomir ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
The threat of depletion of fossil fuels is the driving force to diversify energy sources in the Czech Republic respectively in the European Union but also worldwide. One of these potential sources are being biomass boilers. The construction of these boilers has expanded in recent years because of government support for the construction of clean energy sources. Whether it is a burning of clean biomass or just incorporation of biomass to fossil fuels, teh substitution of fossil fuels and biomass boilers are the ideal solution. Their major advantages include significant reductions in emissions, mainly sulfur compounds, organic closure of the cycle of CO2 and disposal costs of spent residue.
Requirements and solution of household electrical installation
Zelenka, Michal ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the electrical installation in a family house. The first part of this thesis serves as a basis for a project of electrical installation in the family house. The thesis presents the most important requirements for the household electrical installation in accordance with applicable czech technical standards. The thesis further describes the most important methods of protection, especially protection against overcurrent and protection against electric shock. The next part is devoted to proposal of specific project of household electrical installation in accordance with applicable technical standards. The project of the electric installation is checked by calculation at the end of the thesis.
Small Induction Motors
Chvatík, Štěpán ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with a single-phase induction motor and is organized in five sections. In the introduction is briefly described its construction and compared with three-phase induction motor. The first chapter describes the emergence of a rotating magnetic field of motor, methods of obtaining the starting torque, the influence on properties of different types of motors, comparing the torque characteristics of the different types of motors. In the second chapter is discussed permanent-split capacitor induction motor, its calculation and operational optimization. The third chapter deals with the determination of general principles of calculation and calculation method of single-phase induction motor with auxiliary winding. The fourth part verified the accuracy of these procedures on the selected motor when we performed calculations based on the input parameters of the motor, and after that these calculations are compared with the output parameters which are prescribed by the manufacturer. Verification of the relevance of declared parameters is supported by measurements on the mentioned device and their evaluation.
Analysis of a bimetal release
Zelenka, Michal ; Augusta, Zbyněk (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the thermal overload trip unit in automatically operated electrical switching devices. The first part of this thesis serves as a basis for a design of thermostatic bimetal element in electrical switching device. The thesis presents important parameters and calculation principles needed for the design of bimetal element. The thesis further describes the operating principle of thermal trip unit and its possible design solutions. The main part is devoted to analytical calculation and measurement of specific thermostatic bimetal type contained in thermal trip unit of molded case circuit breaker. It is measurement of force and deflection, depending on temperature change. In the next part a numerical model of the bimetallic strip was created and its deflection was simulated. The analytical results are compared with the measured and simulated results at the end of the thesis.
Methodology of price determination of airplane flight hours
Cichy, Radim ; Chlebek, Jiří (referee) ; Juračka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is a specification of individual activities and items in the field of operating and fixed costs related to the calculation of the price per flight hour. Based on a unified methodology, the real price of the flight hour is determined for selected most commonly used aircraft used to obtain pilot ratings for single engine and multi-engine piston engine airplanes. The resulting amount is also compared with the prices offered by commercial companies in the Czech Republic.
Determination of Blood Pressure Parameters for Ventilation Control during Anaestesia in Horses
Horský, Martin ; Provazník, Ivo (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
The present work deals with the issue of hemodynamic monitoring of blood pressure in horses during mechanical ventilation in anesthetized horses. Result of this work is an extension to the application Datex-Ohmeda S/5 Collect, which from the pressure curve provides values needed for optimal ventilation. Initial chapter provides a general physiologic introduction. It describes the definition of blood pressure, cardiac cycle and description of the pressure curve. It also deals with the hemodynamic parameters such as pulse pressure, stroke volume and their variabilities. In the second chapter is described methodology of measuring blood pressure in horses. Both, noninvasive and invasive methods are included. The third chapter analyzes fluctuations in blood pressure during ventilation. The last fourth chapter describes the implemented extension module which is designed to monitor hemodynamic parameters of the pressure curve.
Analysis of Critical Places of Road and Railway Transport Intersections in the Southmoravian Region
Chlup, Daniel ; Ptáček, Petr (referee) ; Libertín, Josef (advisor)
Point of this diploma thesis is analyzing of three railroad crossing controlled by institutions of South-Moravian region, which are chosen by author. For analysis were chosen problematic railroad crossing where happened in last five years traffic accidents with consequences of death. Next criterion of choosing was type of security device. Chosen railroads crossing are representing all types of normally used security devices. That is why was chose railroad crossing with only warning crosses, light security device and last one with light security device with barrier beam. Theoretical part aims on: Basic parameters, dividing, numbering, system of function and marking of railroad crossing. In practical part, there are used mathematical calculations for assessment of safety on chosen railroad crossing and for determination of possibilities of averting a collision of both participants. Corrective measures are made for each railroad crossing taking to account it’s financial conditions. For each railroad crossing is made polygon with help of program Virtual Crash 3.
