Information System/Intranet for Small Municipality

The goal of the bachelor thesis is an implementation of the information system for a small municipality in the internet environment. I have designed the simple information system for small municipality with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The system should be able to provide an environment that offers a simple communication interface to ordinary users and allows the authorized persons to change the content of www site without a necessity of HTML language skills. Contemporary technologies, especially scripting language PHP, markup language XHTML and database system MySQL, were used for design of the system.
Information System for an Attorney's Office

This thesis covers the computational tools designated for the purposes of increasing efficiency, lowering difficulty and monitoring of work processes in the attorney offices in Slovak republic. It also analyses the current available software tools with a similar purpose. At the same time it examines safety requirements, specified by the laws of Slovak republic, which ensure the protection of personal data of clients and employees of attorney offices. The results of the analysis helped designing and implementing the final web application, which can be used as an information system for attorney offices. The final application includes a search for records in the register of companies of Slovak republic, and notifying users of any changes in the records.

The bachelor thesis deals with the development of the information system for a particular company, from the initial analysis to its implementation and maintenance. The first part deals with the current state of the company and its processes. The acquired theoretical knowledge is used to optimize business processes and develop a new information system that supports these processes. The second part of the work is focused on the implementation of the developed information system into the productive operation of the company and the benefits of implementation are evaluated.

Analysis and Design of Know-How Management System in ICT Company

The thesis deals with a problem of the design of information system. The design of system is provided with Rational Unifeid Process methodology. This thesis creates a list of requests to system. It makes an analysis and a design of current information system. It useses a RUP methodology to realize two first phases, inception phase and elaboration phase. Created elaboration phase of document is a base for creating programming prototype in Ruby on Rails environment using Ruby language with combination of HTML code.

The thesis presents the principles of the company functioning including all the internal regulations that are important for the system design. The thesis describes the requirements on the system, system design based on these requirements and its implementation. The main function of system is providing an interface for administration and registration of employees, their contracts and reports. The implementation is based on Microsoft Office Access and ASP.NET.
Information System for a Care Service

Information system for a care service was inspired by the existing system. In there was created a new information system that eliminated shortcomings of the existing system. The information system enables to record data on employees, clients, care and payments for care. The system also includes an overview of past and future client care. The information system was implemented as a web application. This brings the benefit of accessing the application from any electronic device that has Internet access. The created information system can be extended by various functions, as needed by the care organization. The goal was to create an information system that would meet the needs of the care organization's employees and at the same time make it easier for employees to work.
Design and Implementation of a Part of an Attorney Information System

This diploma thesis covers the design and implementation of changes and extension modules of a chosen information system, used in JUDr. Ján Bartánus's attorney office in Ružomberok. The system, implemented as a web application based on the Symfony framework, is dedicated to the simplyfing, monitoring and organization of the work processes in a generic attorney office located in the Slovak Republic. For the purposes of a correct design, the thesis contains an analysis of the current state of the given attorney office, the environment in which it operates, its information system and existing solutions. Tools that were used to conduct the analysis were the SLEPT method, Porter's five forces, model 7S and SWOT matrix. Based on the results of the analyses, a change of the system has been designed, which entails an upgrade of the system, its user interface, integration of the register of companies of Slovak Republic and an extension module intended for the financial valuation of work performed by an attorney. The application has been developed utilizing the PHP and JavaScript programming language. The valuation module integrates the Google Maps API. The stability and speed of the system were tested by functional tests and profiling of the duration of HTTP requests. The main contribution of this thesis is the design and implementation of an extension of the information system, which can be used in any arbitrary attorney office situated in the Slovak Republic, and its practical application in the chosen company. This thesis builds on a previous thesis dedicated to the design and implementation of the information system, which is being extended in this diploma thesis.
