Comparison of Physical Skills of Pupils in General and Sports Classes of Elementary School

Title: Comparison of Physical Skills of Pupils in General and Sports Classes of Elementary School Goals: The aim of this research is to determine the level of physical fitness skills of pupils, who, attend a sport class and compare these results to the pupils of the same age general class in the same school. Methods: The measurement was carried out through the test UNIFITTEST (6-60), which consists of the following tests - long jump, sit-up, chin-up and the Cooper Test. The results were evaluated and compared using the statistical characteristics. Results: With the help of these tests we found out the average level of fitness skills in every category. In long jump boys from the examined sport class managed to get 14, 6 % better results than those from the general class. Regarding girls, those from the sport class did also better, particularly 8, 5 %. The same tendency is to be found in sit-ups. The sport class children showed better performance, boys were 5, 9 % and girls 3, 3 % better than their schoolmates from general classes. The biggest gap in performance was measured in pull-ups. In average 20, 4 % better results for boys from the sport class. But girls from the general class this time beat the ones with a sport-focused programme by 21 %. Title: The impact of elementary schools orientation on leisure time activities structure and physical fitness at child population, age 9- 14, in Litomerice town Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to determine, if different conceptual orientation of selected elementary schools (aesthetic-music- oriented, sports-oriented) has a significant influence on the structure of leisure time activities and the level of physical fitness of children aged 9-14 years. Methods: The study presents empirical quantitative research, which consists of sample of 202 students selected from two elementary schools in Litomerice town. Level of physical fitness was determined using standardized test battery UNIFITTEST (6-60) and the structure of leisure time activities were detected by sociological questionnaire COMPASS II. For the analysis of the data obtained we used descriptive statistical methods, t-test, analysis of variance ANOVA, chi-square test and coefficient of effect size Cohen d, z-test, Hays omega and effect size etha - η2 . The evaluation of motor performance in soccer in category of older children

Title: The evaluation of motor performance in football in category of older children Objectives: The goal of the thesis is to identify and evaluate a level of the motor performance of the older preparatory category in the football club Xaverov. Methods: The main scientific methods of theoretical - empiric character are in-field testing and observation. The research group contained of seventeen nine- year old soccer players of older preparatory group (9,7 ± 0,2 years). To evaluate the physical capability examined kids passed UNIFITTEST 6-60. The MABC-2 motoric test helped to find out the basic motoric level. BMI index and the sum of the skin fold thickness were both used to evaluate the body content. Basic descriptive statistics (the arithmetic average and standard deviation) and correlation analysis were used to analyse gained data. Results: The found level of the physical capability was average. Even though 10 out of 17 players gained above average value in UNIFITTEST 6-60. Young football players gained above average score in evaluation of aiming and catching abilities (AC), and slightly below average score in evaluation of the balancing ability (BAL) in comparison with the standard for Czech kids of the same age. Children's motor abilities in dancing disco dance

The aim of my thesis was to find out and compare a motion ability of children dancing Disco Dance in age bracket from six to ten years. The testing of motion abilities was carried out by means of a test battery called Unifittest (6-60) within two schools. In a top-level dancing centre Beethoven D.C. Chomutov, Municipal grammar school and primary school. The aggregate of tests was being made personally, individual performances were written down into tables and subsequently transformed into graphs. On the basis of these graphs we could later compare definite two groups of girls. In addition, I was finding out a relationship of the girls to other sports activities by means of a regulated interview.
Motor Skills of Children of Primary School Age

The deal of these thesis is to determinate the level of physical abilities of elementary school children, specifically children aged 6 to11 years. Testing was conducted at two schools - Elementary School Kladská 1in Prague and Elementary School Bedřicha Hrozného in Lysá nad Labem. Furthermore, I focused on the results differences between the Prague school and the school outside Prague and the differences between the results of physically active and physically inactive pupils. For testing purposes, I used the test battery UNIFITTEST. Used were the following tests: long jump with take-off from the place, sit-ups / 60 seconds and endurance shuttle run. Basic motor performance and physical ability level of primary school age children

The main aim of this thesis is to find out a level of a basic motor performance and a physical ability of the children attending the fifth grade of primary school. Part of this thesis is a survey made on the basis of the Unifittest and somatic measurements. Gained results - that proved below-average level of the physical ability of primary school age children - were compared with results of the Unifittest made in 2002. From motor and somatic testing results the physical ability of children was compared on the basis of place of residence. In connection with the discovered below-average physical ability of children we recommend introduction of the third compulsory P.E. lesson at primary schools.
Evaluation of motoric performance by UNIFITTEST pupils the second grade of primary school Grünwaldova in České Budějovice

The aim of the thesis is to identify and assess the level of motor performance in children II. grade elementary school Grünwaldova in České Budějovice. Sports and unsportsmanlike classes were tested with a total of 81 children (45 boys and 36 girls) from 6 to 9 class at the age of 1115 years in the months of May and June 2014. We investigated motoric performance by standardized test battery UNIFITTEST (660), which includes motoric tests by age and sex of the test. We also conducted anthropometric measurements, from which we determined the individuals category of Body Mass Index (BMI). All classes were compared between themselves in tests and measurement. Overall test results showed that 72,8 % of children had average to above-average performance significantly. This research convinced us that the motoric performance of most tested children is very good.
Fitness and Interest in Physical Activity of Youth (9 - 12 aged) Living in the Countryside

This bachelor thesis is dealing with physical fitness and physical activity of youth aged 9 -12 years old living in a countryside. Theoretical part of the work is aimed at measuring somatic data and testing physical performance according to Unifittest manual. In total 60 children from fully organized school Chvalšiny and 46 children from semi organized school Kájov participated in this measurement. Acquired data were elaborated by tables and graphs. Consequently these data from fully organized school and semi organized school were compared. The evaluation of acquired data showed that the pubescents at semi organized schools do reach better results than pubescents at fully organized schools.

The aim of my diplomy work is to find out the level of motory skills 6-7 year old children. Research work ran in the sekond {--} class at Primery schoul Kubatova in České Budějovice. General set spaned 42 pupils. My task was to compare theirs efficient and co {--} ordinative abilities with supposed level, to deliminate theirs mutual relations, to compare boys and girls and sports and non-sports class.
