Bělovský, Michal ; Keith, Petr (referee) ; Keith, Petr (referee) ; Vojtová, Lea (advisor) ; Kalousek, Lubor (advisor)
The basis of this Bachelor Thesis is the architectural study which was done in the summer semester of the third year of my bachelor’s studies. The topic of this architectural study was the reconstruction, rebuilding and restoration of former farmhouse in Repechy. The aim of the study was to find a suitable urban, shape and functional solution. The original idea of the owner was to create the pension as the outcome. The architectural proposal respects owner’s requirements, yet it also adds other supporting functions to create attractive place for rest, recreation and sport. The main idea of the study thus becomes the interconnection of accommodation, entertainment, recreation and education. I decided to design the object in a way so that is suitable for both couples and small families, as well as for larger groups and units. Based on this, I divided the building into three main parts. The first part is situated in the retained part of the original farmhouse in memory of the history of this place. From the functional point of view it serves as a reception, owner accommodation and occasional staff accommodation. The second part of the building is used to accommodate guests. It is an extension of double-bedded and double rooms with own hallway and en suite facilities. The third part serves as the dining room for the guests. There is a kitchen with facilities and multi-purpose space to be found. Design and the shape solution of the farmhouse are based on the rural structure character and tries to fit in this style.

The Bachelor’s Thesis is based on the architectural study which was done in the summer semester of the third year of my bachelor’s studies. The goal was to create an alternative way how to use this building. The new owner wants to use it mainly for storage and other, mainly auxiliary services. That is why concrete silos were torn down and the object should be turned into a standard multi-stage structure. The main idea of this work is to suggest alternatives what may remain a private initiative. Not only that would therefore not demand additional public expenditure, it could also attract a wide audience with its attractive content. The proposal outlines a friendly variant to the public resources and also has a positive economic benefit within the city of Zlin. That includes adding attractive features into the original grain silos‘ spaces – indoor skydiving, indoor diving, climbing wall etc. This would create an adrenaline centre accompanied with supporting features - commercial areas, a restaurant with a terrace and accommodation. Remotorization of the L60 aircraft
Sahrai, Daniel ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (referee) ; Imriš, Pavel (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is the replacement of the power unit to the Aero L-60 "Brigadýr" aircraft. The reason for such a conversion is the ending life of the original power unit, accumulating technical problems and the effort to achieve higher aircraft performance during normal operation. In the introduction, the aircraft is introduced and there are mentioned the results achieved in the selection of a suitable power unit during the previous work. Furthermore, the work briefly deals with the issue of certification and selection of a suitable method that will lead to the approval of the change and to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft. The work also addresses the effects of reconstruction on the center of gravity of the aircraft, which are minimized by the appropriate design of the engine mount. The model of such a engine mount was created in the computer software CATIA V5 and subsequently a strength analysis of nine loading cases was performed on it. Furthermore, an analytical inspection of the engine bed tubes on the struts and a check of the strength of the bolts connecting the engine mount to the aircraft airframe were performed. At the end of this work is described the practical installation of the engine and engine mount, including other engine systems.
