Survey and Assessment of Masonry Buildings before Modernization

This thesis deals with the exploration and evaluation of historic masonry building. The researched building was built in the 20th 20th century. Is located in the premises of the Philosophical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno. During preparation for the planned modernization of the survey was conducted several objects of the university complex. In this work, however, we consider only the building named "C". It will be processed by selected diagnostic method. The findings will then serve as a basis for static analysis and follow-up activities associated with modernization.

The first part deals with the regulation of nuclear safety in the Czech Republic. The second part describes the international INES scale. The last and largest section deals with the actual accidents and disasters.

This bachelors thesis deals with a proposal to improve and streamline the pay system in selected company, including the development of their employees and improve their motivation. The starting point is to elaborate the theoretical part, which is the basis for assessing the current state of pay in a given company. A comprehensive analysis is then defined in the design of the proposals and recommendations which have lead to improvements in society and to remedy existing deficiencies.

The Design of the Maturity Model for Measuring Effectivity of the SIEM System in the Organisation

The bachelor‘s thesis addresses the issue of evaluating the effectiveness of the SIEM system in an industrial environment. The goal was to propose a methodology that uses a MITRE ATT&CK matrix for ICS for evaluation. The thesis first analyses existing solutions and their potential applications, followed by a description of monitoring evaluation in an energy company, which together with the matrix form the basis of the proposed solution. The main output of the thesis is a proposal for quantitative evaluation of individual techniques of the matrix, such as graphical interpretation and the possibility to share results securely with other CERT teams.

This master´s thesis deals with optimalization of procedures in production company using modern methods. Describing actual status of inventory management with focus on purchasing department, inventory movements, stocking and planning. Thesis solve problem by introducing Kanban system in field of inventory management, ABC analysis and evaluation of suppliers in the area of purchasing. The purpose of the master´s thesis is to submit suitable solutions, which can improve existing processes in inventory management and purchases.

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti dvou konkrétních návrhů k investici na základě příslušných metod vhodných k hodnocení efektivnosti investic. První část práce obsahuje teoretický základ potřebný k hodnocení efektivnosti investic. Druhá, analytická část je zaměřena na aplikování metod na dané investiční projekty. Ve třetí části, na základě těchto metod, je navrženo přijetí jednoho ze z těchto investičních projektů spolu s přihlédnutím k riziku investice.

Economic Evaluation of Projects in Road Infrastructure in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

This diploma thesis deals with the problems of economic evaluation in road infrastructure projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In the analytical part the methodology in both countries is solved, diversity is analyzed and in the end the searched differences are assessed. On the basis of results, recommendations are presented. The practical part is concentrated on the proper differences that are further included in the methodology. The general evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of the economic assessment method and suggestion of possible adjustment of the method in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia had been the result of the work.
