Penetrační testy a hardening webových aplikací
Markvart, Jakub
This bachelor thesis addresses the ten most common attacks, vulnerabilities and misconfigurations of web applications according to OWASP and subsequent demonstrations of these attacks. Individual vulnerability demonstrations are presented using a built methodology in the form of a penetration test to evaluate and describe the found issues in a prepared test environment. Afterwards, hardening is performed to ensure remediation so that the next test will pass without any more serious bugs and vulnerabilities.
Lifestyle, diet and hardening and viral diseases
ČÍŽKOVÁ, Aneta
These topics will be more detailed discussed in the theoretical part, due to their importance in the lives of each of us. Among main topics, the work includes topics related to sleep, rational nutrition, exercise and more within factors that play a significant role in influencing people's health and their lives. In the practical part, the work already deals with cases from practice - everyday life of people. In this section, reader will learn how young people perceive the view of health and its support, and whether they themselves follow the principles of a healthy lifestyle and rational, healthy eating. As a part of the research, respondent's food menus are specifically analyzed, as well as frequency questionnaires mapping the people's diet, the lifestyle and the occurrence of diseases of these people. This work shows and compares the differences in lifestyle within the two investigated groups - people who are hardening and those who are not hardening. The detected shortcomings are discussed in more detail and there are also possible individual recommendations for individuals or the whole group that can be transferred to the wider public. These recommendations are in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization, medicine, or other experts in the field.
An effect of cold showers on mental characteristics of adults
BÜRGEROVÁ, Anna
The aim of this thesis is to use a questionnaire survey to perform the overall structure of the mental characteristics of a selected sample of the population and to reveal the effect of regular cold showers on the mental well-being of probands. To obtain data on the mental structure, a standardized SUPSO-7 questionnaire was used, which the probands filled in at the beginning and end of cold showering. 48 students of the Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice took part in the research. The first experimental group took cold showers for 11 months, the second experimental group took them for 3 months. A control group was created for the second experimental group. Probands took cold showers on average four times a week. Results of data obtained using the SUPSO-7 questionnaire demonstrations in the experimental group influencing mental well-being and activity in comparison with control objectives. In contrast, in the experimental group, there was a decrease in impulsivity, depression, anxiety, and depression compared to control goals. Only the increase in mental well-being was statistically significant (p = 0.02), but the results show that cold showers could have a positive effect on the individual's mental characteristics.
Hardening as a possibility to improve the function of the immune system
JANKOVSKÁ, Alena
This thesis is about hardening and its effect on the immune system. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the terms health, determinants of health, immune system and its functions, and last but not least the term hardening and its principles and forms. The practical part deals with hardening itself and its effects on the immune system in practice. For seven months, eight respondents aged 26 - 55 years were exposed to cold - either by bathing in cold water or showering with cold water. The result of the work is a subjective assessment of the impact of the respondents' hardening on their bodies and immune systems after the research period. The results show that all respondents reported a positive effect of hardening on their health. These were physical changes such as improved acclimatization to cold, less morbidity or significant improvement in atopic eczema or back pain. Changes were not only found physically, but also mentally, with respondents reporting greater resilience to stress, better mood and more energy. Seven out of eight
The Effect of Hardening on the Human Body
Berounská, Natálie ; Vančata, Václav (advisor) ; Přívratský, Vladimír (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with the topic of hardening and its effect on the human organism. The goal is to fing out what and whether hardening has any effect on the human organism. The theoretical part describes the history of hardening, its various forms and the principles that we should follow during hardening if we want to experience its positive effect and avoid potential danger. It also includes the hardening of children which has its own specifics. Furthermore, the concept of thermoregulation and other concepts related to physiological processes that také place in the human body not only during and after staying in cold water are explained in the theoretical part. In the practical part, three groups of probands are compered with the help of a questionnaire: 100 sports hardeners, 90 hardeners and 95 non-hardeners. With the help of a quesionnaire, it is determined what and whether hardening has an effect on the human organism. After comparing all three groups, the results show that for the majority of respondents, hardening has a positive effect on both the physical and psychological aspects of a person. It was also conformed, for example, that sports hard people and hard people cope a little beter with disease form a cold (milder and shorter course). In the conclusion, all three groups of...
A transcriptomic-based comparison of barley cultivars differing with respect to their low temperature acclimation capacity
Janská, Anna ; Ovesná, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Vaňková, Radomíra (referee) ; Honys, David (referee)
The PhD thesis is focused on a transcriptomics-based comparison of barley cultivars differing with respect to their low temperature acclimation capacity, with a particular focus on genes transcribed in the leaf and crown. The crown was of interest because of its importance for the winter survival of the plant. To involve both the first and the second phase of hardening, the test plants were exposed first to +3řC for 21 days, followed by - 3řC for one day. Freezing damage was assessed by measuring electrolyte leakage (Papers 2 and 3), using a modified version of a protocol developed by Prášil and Zámečník (1998). The same protocol was adapted to evaluate crown regrowth (Paper 2); for this purpose, the plants were cooled, then replanted and cut above the crown, and their survival rate calculated over the following week. Each RNA sample was queried by hybridization to an Affymetrix 22 K Barley1 GeneChip Genome Array (Close et al. 2004). The data were statistically analysed with the help of the software packages R, MAS 5.0 (Ihaka & Gentleman 1996) (Papers 2 and 3), Gene Spring GX 7.3 (Agilent Technologies, Santa Clara CA) and MapMan (Thimm et al. 2004; Usadel et al. 2005) (Paper 2), the "Self-Organizing Maps" algorithm (Kohonen et al. 1996) (Paper 3) and MIPS FunCat (Ruepp et al. 2004) (Paper 2). Paper...

Heat treatment of formed parts
Leška, Radim ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
In the research part, the bachelor thesis deals with forming, the mechanism of plastic deformation and steels used for forming. It also describes the principles of heat treatment, specifically the methods used in the preparation of semi-finished products, pressings, and forgings, i.e., annealing, hardening, and tempering. In the practical part, several experiments were performed on C45 steel. The first of them verified the effect of strain hardening after compaction, the others were focused on recrystallization, full annealing, hardening, and tempering. The effect of deformation and heat treatment was assessed in terms of hardness, which was measured by the Vickers hardness test.
