Aesthetic Factor in John Dewey's Conception of an Experience Aesthetic Relevance demonstrated by Example of Snowbording
Vyhnánková, Klára ; Kaplický, Martin (advisor) ; Dadejík, Ondřej (referee)
This diploma thesis examines John Dewey's concept of experience, focusing especially on his notion that an aesthetic factor is present in every complete and consummatory experience. It deals with the differences between a common experience and "an experience" and examines how an aesthetic factor works in them. The indispensable role of the aesthetic factor is intentionally demonstrated on the non-artistic example of experiences of snowboarding. The most important findings are developed through the approach of Richard Shusterman's somaesthetics. The theories of these two philosophers support the main idea of this thesis, namely that dynamic movements of the body can bring aesthetic experiences to their actor. Thus, some of the reasons that explain the attractiveness of this modern sport come to light that are not apparent at first glance.

Drevenáková, Natália ; Csefalvayová, Petra (referee) ; Kohoutková, Karolína (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the rising trend in flax production. He perceives flax, its processing and properties as a mirror of a time when topics such as the climate crisis, fast fashion or overproduction are the center of attention. The company strives to respond to them with sustainability, locality and a zero waste lifestyle. This bachelor's thesis reflects the author's journey through the fashion scene and the sensation during her studies. As a metaphor for returning to the roots, he uses the original version of the Sleeping beauty story from 1634, called Sun, Moon and Talia. The author perceives Talia as her alter ego, as the form of the names Talia - Natália suggests. The original story is not mentioned as a flower on which the princess was pricked, but a rose but a flax. The work consists of a collection of clothes and uses a video medium and an advertising format for the presentation. The video is loosely inspired by the story of Sun, Moon and Talia.
Assessment of the ecotoxic effect of plasma-activated solutions
Belisová, Mária ; Šimečková,, Jana (referee) ; Zlámalová Gargošová, Helena (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with ecotoxicity assessment of plasma-activated solutions. Various plasma-activated solutions were prepared in the experiments. In the vast majority of tests, it was plasma-activated tap water – PAW. Depending on the test organism, dilution water was further processed, namely dilution water for Thamnocephalus platyurus and Daphnia magna. In this master‘s thesis the ecotoxicological effects were assessed through aquatic ecotoxicity tests with an aquatic plant Lemna minor, on a crustaceans T. platyurus and D. magna and on agricultural crops Lactuca sativa and Allium cepa L. . Crustaceans are fresh-water organisms on which the water contamination can be quickly and quite easily assessed. These plasma-activated solutions were also tested for acute ecotoxicity of soil organisms by ecotoxicological contact tests with Eisenia fetida, springtails Folsomia candida and seeds of L. sativa. Tests on T. platyurus and D. magna were performed in time intervals and a change in mortality was observed depending on PAW concentration. If the test results allowed, the LC50, IC50, A and NR escapism values were calculated. When the measured and calculated values did not allow such a calculation, the overall effect of PAW on organisms was assessed and a significant difference was calculated for the L.sativa root growth inhibition test. The final results showed that PAW has an ecotoxic effect on aquatic organisms, while it has rather beneficial effects on terrestrial organisms.

These very warm years helped saving especially of houses with thermal pumps, which work with the highest heating factor for heating of warm water for normal use in summer months. From comparing of results from different points of view, the best resulted the house isolated by heystackcs. Contemporary development confims this result.
