Digitization, Automation and Transformation of Business Processes Using Cloud and Business Intelligence in a Small Company
Rajský, Marek ; Pehal, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
Business digitization is the next stage in the development of modern companies and industry 4.0, which go hand in hand with the development of information and communication technologies. The Internet is no longer just for information retrieval, but with IOT, automation, and cloud deployment, businesses can do significantly faster, more efficient, and cheaper analog process execution than they do to form and together form a business into digital form. With digitization and IOT devices, businesses collect large amounts of data that may not make sense at first glance, but business intelligence tools can aggregate them into graphical reports, which can then be used by managers to evaluate business metrics and then guide business strategy. Together, the elements of IoT, automation, digitization, cloud and business intelligence form a digital enterprise.

Inside the Dictator's Panopticon: Unveiling Digital Authoritarianism in Belarus
Yaromich, Kathrin ; Solovyeva, Anzhelika (advisor) ; Hynek, Nikola (referee)
Title: Inside the Dictator's Panopticon: Unveiling Digital Authoritarianism in Belarus Název práce: Uvnitř diktátorova panoptika: Odhalování digitálního autoritarismu v Bělorusku. Abstract: The following research presents the first-ever empirical case study of digital authoritarianism in Belarus. While Belarusian propaganda has created an atmosphere of omnipresent surveillance with citizens always feeling watched, there is pervasive secrecy surrounding existing surveillance practices and their functioning. The following research aims to unravel the techniques of digital repression employed by the Belarusian government, as well as to evaluate them in line with the conceptual framework of the usage of digital technologies to the strategic ends of authoritarian regimes and the transformational political effects of such new technologies. In addition to establishing distinct features of Belarusian digital authoritarianism, the research also determines the extent to which Belarusian authoritarianism is digital as well as the role of private actors. Given the lack of academic literature relating to the specific case study, interviews with experts in the field were carried out and consequently utilized in the qualitative analysis along with secondary data. The findings suggest Lukashenka's government effectively...
Media habits of kids in age of 5-6 years
Knejflová, Vendula ; Wolák, Radim (advisor) ; Supa, Markéta (referee)
The thesis Media habits of children aged 5-6 examines the media awareness of 5 and 6 years old children, their media habits and preferences. It deals with the attitudes of parents and educators towards the media and their role in education, and seeks an answer the question of whether the popularity and use of electronic visual media (television, computer, mobile/tablet) has an impact on some areas of a child's psychomotor development. The work is inspired by a similar research conducted in 2010 by Ondřej Luštinec. The aim is to answer what is the media awareness of children, what are their media preferences and what attitudes are taken by parents and pedagogical staff towards the media in education. Several hypotheses were established, e.g. that children with worse results in the monitored areas will more often choose visual electronic media as their favorite and printed media with radio as unpopular, that children with worse results will spend more time with visual electronic media and that children will spend more time with them than in 2010. The current research was carried out in June 2022 and in January 2023 in kindergartens in Kyselka, Velvary, Čakovice and in Prague - Opletalova street. Qualitative methods (interviews and experiments with children) and quantitative methods (questionnaires...
Proposal for Changes of Human Resource Management in a Selected Institution
Seemann, Andrea ; Budík, Jan (referee) ; Konečná, Zdeňka (advisor)
The key goal of the diploma thesis is to propose measures for developing the key activities of the chosen organization using the support of digital technologies, based on the theoretical research and the performed analyses. The output of this work is a proposal for changes to the concept of human resources management in this organization. The work is divided into three parts, consisting of a theoretical, analytical and design part, where recommendations are developed based on the knowledge obtained from the performed analyses. The theoretical part of this work deals with education and human resource management in this area, in the analytical part the work will then focus on the benefits and undesirable effects of digitization and on how a specific school in Lomnica behaved during the pandemic. The starting point is the design part, which suggests procedures for the development of the organization's human resources concept in the event that it is again forced to switch to distance learning using new digital tools. PEST analysis, SWOT analysis and questionnaire survey were mainly used to create the design part.

Digital twin
Kopeček, Pavel ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue related to digital twin technology, which is developing during the current 4th industrial revolution primarily based on digitization across industries and in the near future, if properly applied, can be one of the core elements of most industrial processes. A digital twin represents a virtual representation of a physical object (machines, functional components, for example, within cars or even a part of the human body), with which it transmits information to each other in the form of data important for the target functions of the digital twin through the created communication channel. With the use of the obtained data, the control algorithm of this technology and through simulation models contained in the virtual space of the digital twin, this technology enables real-time work, the purpose of which is to perform an analysis of the operational state for the purpose of its evaluation, correction or, using the so-called "what-if" analyses, even its prediction, with the aim of achieving the most efficient use of real objects during their entire life cycle (production process of the object, operation and maintenance of the object, disposal of the object). The main outputs of this work are, from a research point of view, the performance of a critical evaluation of the current state of the application of digital twins within the industrial world and the creation of a digital twin creation algorithm, from a practical point of view, the creation of selected input 3D analyzes (simulation models) and the creation of a reduced ROM model for the purpose of creating basic building blocks for a digital twin of two-stage train transmission. For the practical part the Ansys Workbench system package and a relatively new system for calculating dynamic tasks called Ansys Motion were used.
