The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a general-purpose stationary belt sander. Current knowledge and a working principle of a belt sander is delineated in the introduction. Furthermore, all possible methods are shown, one of which is selected as the most convenient. That design is further compiled as a 3D model with a calculation report attached.

The first part deals with the system analysis of the problems, namely the use of drives, gear mechanisms, bearings and measuring systems in the design. Subsequently, manufacturers and the creation of variants of design solutions. The second part of the thesis is focused on calculations and design of the chosen design variant.
Design of a Crash-Test Dummy

The main objective of this thesis is construction of crash test dummy for vehicle-pedestrian crash tests. There is review of nowadays used crash test dummies types in the introduction of this thesis. This is followed by part describing construction itself. Chapter about construction begins by characterizing of used materials features in relation with real human body physiology. Main part of chapter is describing construction of crash test dummy’s skeleton and its individual components including 3D modelling and strength analysis. Thesis is finished by cost assessment.

The second part is devoted to research of the market and choosing a suitable construction solution. The result of this thesis is a 3D model of selected solution along with drawings and related calculations of the parts.
Comparison of unfinished house prices in several stages of construction with the cost of finished construction works

The aim of this thesis is compare the price unfinished house in various stages of construction with the cost of executed construction. The price unfinished house was identified by various calculation. The various calculation were compared each other. The chosen methods are develop construction budget, determine prices through technical-economic indicators and of price regulations. Price unfinished buildings and the value of construction works is determined in three separate phases, these phases are described in the thesis itself. Calculation results are processed in graphic form and at the end of this thesis are compared with each other. Assigned task is achieved by a complete itemized budget for a house with no exterior modifications and connections. From final itemized budget are created sub-budget containing structure according to specified stages of construction. In the same stages of construction are made calculations by price indicators and price regulations. Target set in the thesis is filled at the end, all the values are described and compared. The results suggest the use of computational methods is determined by the purpose for which prices are measured. Labor and accuracy while itemized budget is confirmed, the remaining calculations are mainly informative and preliminary pricing satisfactory. The benefit of the work is to verify the use of computational methods for the different phases of the construction process.
Risk analysis of pest infestation of wooden structures

The thesis deals with risks of defect occurrences in a wood construction. Wood constructions and their parts are exposed to a number of negative factors influencing their lifetime. The aim of the thesis is to give an outline of risks of defect occurrences in a wood construction attacked by pests and propose measures for their elimination.. These steps are closely described in the individual parts and processes. Part of the thesis is the FMEA analysis, resulting in appropriate chemical protection, a factor considered before incorporation into the construction. The analysis and its outcomes are important for improvement of the wood construction lifetime.
Risk prevention of the construction of public telecommunication network base stations

The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the general description of the base stations of mobile public telecommunication networks, their structure, maintenance, construction and staff requirements. Construction of hydraulic bending machine of steel sections

This master’s thesis deals with design of a hydraulics bending machine. Bending machine will be used primarily for bending reinforcement bars in the shape of stapes. It consists of bending, sliding and chute system, which are located in the machine frame. Drive of each system is provided by a rotary and two linear hydraulic motors. Then there is described a hydraulic system and selection of its most important parts. Work is supplemented by visual documentation in the form of images of individual systems were processed in a CAD system Inventor 2010
Okříšky bypass - location study

The aim of this master´s thesis is to design version of bypass of small town Okříšky, which is located in Vysočina district. The design of the route is expected to be 3 kilometers long. The goal is to design horizontal and vertical solution of the route, which begins on projected part of the road II/405 aprox. 2 kilometers behiond Zašovice village and continues around small down Okříšky in the direction to Třebíč, where the road connects to existing road II/405. The road will be designed so that costs of the design and subsequent realisation will be minimized. And also environmental impact will be taken into consideration. The project documentation will be used as study in relation to construction of road II/405.
