Specifications in communication with children with autistic syndrome defect

The bachelor thesis focuses on children with autistic spectre disorder. In particular, it deals with communication and its specific problems of the children. The theoretical part concentrates on different types of disorders, verbal and nonverbal communication of autistic children and problems occurring during the communication process. At the end, it introduces the Son-Rise program which is a home-education program for children with autistic spectre disorder. Its main goal is to establish and develop a relationship with the child. The program has been used for more than 30 years. The practical part includes a research and six case studies related to children with autistic spectre disorder. The aim of the thesis is to map and characterize the manner and development of communication of adults with children who have been diagnosed with autistic spectre disorder. It detects the main problems in communication process and recommends techniques how to strengthen the relationship between an adult and a child, no matter whether it concerns a parent, a social worker or a teaching assistant. The case studies contain reports of parents documenting how the communication of their child has developed. Speech therapy intervention of adults with dyslalia

This diploma thesis is focused on speech therapy intervention for adults with dyslalia. It defines basic theory of communication and speech, a communication disorder, speech therapy and a specific of intervention for adults. It also describes the most common types of communication disorders of adolescents, adults and elderly which are according to statistics aphasia, dysarthria, stuttering and dyslalia. Dyslalia is then studied in further detail and represents the main section of the theoretical part of the thesis as it contains a description of its therapy among others. Re-education was focused on dyslalia of sounds r and ř, that is rhotacism and rhotacism bohemicus, as they are most common. The main purpose of the thesis is to describe progress of re-education of adults with dyslalia, find reasons to start re- education and differences between an intervention for children and adults. The research is divided into two sections, the first section contains information from interviews with clinical speech therapists and the second contains two case studies of adults with dyslalia.
Speech and Nonspeech Area Development of a Preschool Child

The thesis is focused on the development of speech and non-speech areas in pre-school children in terms of special pedagogy and the thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical part. The second part is composed of a research investigation and its goal is to analyse speech and non-speech areas in pre-school children. The first chapter of the theoretical part introduces a preview into pre-school age. This part is also focused on education in nursery school and school readiness and enrolment in the first grade. The second chapter examines every single detail of non-speech areas in pre-school children and describes their development of speech like gross and fine motor skills, graphomotor skills, drawing, laterality, visual and auditory perception, thinking, memory, mathematical ideas, space and time perception, fantasy, play, self-service, independence and last but not least social skills. The last chapter is devoted to speech areas mainly the development of speech in pre-school children, issues of bilingualism and trilingualism, disorders of communication skills, logopedic intervention in nursery school. Speech and language therapy in infant school in district of Havlíčkům Brod

The bachelor thesis is focused on special pedagogics. It is specialised in logopaedic intervention in kindergartens. First chapter is focused on children speech development, speech defects and its qualification, aetiology and prevention. Second chapter defines logopaedic intervention, focuses on description of logopaedic diagnostics and logopaedic therapy and describes options for providing logopaedic intervention in certain resorts in the Czech Republic. Third chapter is specialising in development of communication skills for preschool children and for kindergartens in general. It is followed by description of logopaedic prevention and analyse of findings about communication skills development of researched kindergartens from the interview with its headmaster and from internet research. Practical part of the bachelor thesis contains qualitative research about three case studies each of them about a child with a communication disorder. Case studies are focused on a level of communication during applying to a kindergarten and then to a current level of communication, as well as methods used for developing the communication skills and collaboration between family and the kindergarten. The development of graphomotoric skills of pre-school children in ordinary and logopaedic class

The bachelor´s thesis deals with graphomotor skills of pre-school age children and their development. The aim of the thesis is through a created program to develop graphomotor skills of pre-school age children in ordinary and logopaedic classes of kindergarten and subsequently to compare the level and the development of graphomotor skills in both groups. The theoretical part sets the bases that apply to the issue of the pre-school age, graphomotor skills and communication disorder. These theoretical findings are further applied in the practical part. The practical part contains results of the observation and the analysis of graphomotor skills of the research sample that consists of eight children without communication disorder and eight children with the lack of communication ability. On the basis of the discovered facts there was made a conclusion for further practice.

The Possibilities of Using Musical Activities for Children with Impaired Communication Ability in Kindergarten- in Speech Therapy Class

The bachelor thesis is concerned with communication disorders in preschool aged children and progress their perceptual and motor skills by musical activities. The main aim of the thesis is to create a collection of activities to support the children's skills. The partial aim is to try using the collection in practise during standard kindergarten's operation Theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with speech development, speech disorders, especially dyslalia and delayed speech development. The thesis is also aimed on specifics of preschool age, legislature of preschool education and education of children with special needs. The final chapter writes about musical field and principles of conducting musical activities in kindergarten. To achieve the set target, a qualitative research strategy was chosen. During three weeks of direct observation of preschool group, case studies of the children were created based on the results. The results were used for creating of collection of activities. The created collection was directly applied in practice. The work was evaluated by means of analysis of video recordings, while at the same time were accented its disadvantages and advantages. The collection of activities contains methodical structure, so it can be used in practice of teachers in kindergarten. The material could be appreciated by parents as well and used during practising their children's skills.
