Progress in trends of foreign pre-primary and primary schools

This dissertation deals with new approaches of alternative schooling in foreign countries which recently became very popular. These three schools and approaches chosen for this dissertation are not known in Czech Republic yet. The dissertation presents these alternative schools and proposes alternative brushing up of the ideas to the maintain schools. The first school and the first approach of alternative is democratic school or also free school. The oldest democratic school is Summerhill in the east of England. The second interesting approach and school is Te Whāriki from New Zealand. The framework deals with education through socio-cultural context. The last representative of schooling which dissertation deals with will be Reggio Emillia, which is from Italy and based on ideas of Loris Malaguzzi. The dissertation applies to main philosophies of these three alternatives, which appears abroad and mainly in Great Britain. This piece of work evaluates similarities and differences of these alternative schools. According to from which country the concrete school comes from and circumstances influencing the origin. Gifted children at the elementary alternative schools

Key words: gift, talent, individual access, alternative schools, inovate schools. This graduation these is focused on question of suitability to situate the gifted children into the alternative schools. In the theoretical part will be defined the concept gifted child and will be analysed the principles of chosen alternative schools. In the end of the theoretical part of theses will be evaluated how the alternative schools can be usefull for gifted children. In the experimental part will be confronted theoretical informations with reality. I try aswer the question if and which way is realized the care of these children in reality of the chosen types of the alternative schools. The research for this graduation theses will use an analyse of documents, an observation and a dialog. The elementary basis of theses is supposition that the schools of the alternative types like the schools with the edge for a respect to a child and its individual needs are potencional suitable for the extra gifted children.
Family and school cooperation

The bases of this diploma thesis are a family and school cooperation, means of cooperation and ways leading to a cooperation improvement. The submitted work deals with theoretical aspects of the family and school co- operation and a report from a practical investigation on this subject executed at the primary school follows. The research is based on the exploring method of an interview (i.a. via web pages created by myself) for current and future teachers at primary schools and for parents. The work focuses on upgrading and reengineering of communication forms be- tween schools and parents. The parent is considered as a "consumer , a "partner or a "citizen . This point of view is based on the empirical research of the family and school cooperation by Milada Rabušicová and Milan Pol. This research has been executed at the primary schools in Brno. Next, the models of family and school partnerships in accordance with Birte Ravnová are also introduced. A definition of terms: a family (by several experts), a function of family and type of family (in accordance with so-called a "Functionality of family questionnaire ) is introduced. Private and alternative education in the Czech Republic

TITLE: Private and alternative schools in the Czech Republic SUMMARY: The thesis describes current status of private and alternative schools whereas private schools are considered as an alternative to the public school system as well. It tackles the specific aspects of alternative pedagogical programs, describes common and distinctive features and sees into the positives and negatives of the choice of alternative education for parents and pupils. The theoretical part focuses on private schools. It inquires into the qualitative difference between private and public schools and deals with the conditions of education for both pupils and teachers. Parents Motivation for the Alternative Kindergarten Choice

The goal of the thesis is to clarify the reasons which lead parents to choosing Waldorf´s kindergarten as an alternative option for their children. Alternative schools, reasons why the schools were founded and their main contribution to the education are described in the theoretical part. In the following part of the thesis the founder of the Waldorf´s school Rudolf Steiner is mentioned as well as the description of its foundation, conception and goals. The other chapters are dedicated to family topics, family development and its functions. The following chapters are crucial as well. They are devoted to the motivation and the life values we meet during our lifetimes. The research part is conceived by statistically quantitative method by using the questionnaires which were responded by the parents of the children from four Waldorf´s kindergartens.
Use of Individualization and Differentiation in the Physics Lessons

The master's thesis focuses on individuation and differentiation in our education system. The present work explains the concepts of individualization and differentiation, various types of differentiation, their possible pitfalls, their history and the applications of differentiation and individuation in alternative schools. The thesis includes a conversation with a physics teacher, analysis of annual elementary school reports, and an experiment. The experiment included a non-standardized achievement test and a survey.
History of Waldorf schools in the world and the Czech Republic, comparison of waldorf education to other classic reform directions

The work deals with the history of waldorf schools and waldorf pedagogy compares to other classic reform schools. At the beginning of the thesis defines the term alternative school and typology alternative schools. The thesis is focused on the creation and development of waldorf schools around the world and the Czech Republic. Describes in detail the founding of the first waldorf School in Germany and Bohemia. Mentioned is the founder of waldorf education Rudolf Steiner. In the chapter on the first waldorf school in Bohemia text based on interviews with the initiator and first class teacher. Of the waldorf schools around the world during the years 1991 to 2013 is derived interested in waldorf pedagogy. Third and concluding part of the paper compares the waldorf pedagogy with other classic reform schools. These schools include waldorf school, montessori school, dalton school, modern school Célestin Freinet and Jena plan.
Optimization of elementary school financing in a small village

This bachelor thesis deals with elementrary school financing. First part generaly deals with educational system in Czech Republic and methodology of elementary school financing. Second part is focused on elementary school in Choustník. At first, we watch the trend in pupil quantity and its impact on the school. Then we focus on alternative solutions of current situation. Mainly we talk about various economy measures or alternative sources of financing, because the school is dealing with serious financial issues. Both measures that have been already applied and measures that could help in the future are discused. Finally alternative school arrangements are described. Those would have to be used if the founder was unable to finance the school.
Teaching of the foreign languages with the using of the dramatics

The work deals with small and pre {--} school children foreign languages in frome of dramatic education. The theoretical part of this work deals with the freetime, also freetime activities and pedagogue personality. Next items are the most known teaching alternative methods including the particular analysis of Waldorf education. The practical part of this work contains a description of teaching foreign languages at the Basic school eventually at the Moternity center. There is the English teached as a kind of a game, it means the dramatical and playful way of teaching foreign languages. This work also contains some examples of this games.
Education Technology in Waldorf school´s conditions

The work deals with education technology in the specific environment of Waldorf school with an emphasis on pedagogical traits of this school type. The theoretical part includes the explanation of the term {\clq}qeducational technology``, the brief characteristics of alternative schooling, its rise and development. The main accent is put on the Waldorf pedagogy, its recourses, contents, aims, specifics and history in the Czech Republic and Waldorf education worldwide. The practical part includes records from inspections of Waldorf classes and then a comparison of theory and praxis. Then this work compares a social climate of the Waldorf class and the class with a classical way of education by questionnaires to find out objective positives of Waldorf education.
