Model of a diesel-generator
Suchomel, Vít ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Bárta, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with principles and methods of drive-train regulation. Furthermore it deals with simulation of drive train via Simulink in a program Matlab. The work is done in cooperation with Siemens Drasov. A created model will be used as an educational model for employees of company. The model will allow better and more graphic education. In the beginning part is drive-train generally descripted. Next part is especially about a synchronous generator. This work also explains a working principle of generator and excitation. There is a cooperation of generator with electrical network described and transformation of synchronous generator into a model of general electric machine showed, substitute scheme is in d, q coordinates deduced in the next part. There are simulations of different states of generator solved in a practical part of the work. At first there is simulation of generator’s load change by using the created model done and further there are simulations of short circuits in stator winding realized. Finally there are simulations of connecting the synchronous generator into infinite bus for ideal and unfavorable conditions done. All simulation models include lots of oscilloscopes, which allow time courses to display, currents, shaft’s revolutions, torques and so on.
Using the Arduino module to manage the physical model of the MVE
Perout, Miroslav ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on acquaintance with the model of MVE and creation of a proposal of the structure of management on the basis of the obtained information. In the first step, the differences in the generators used are described and explained. Subsequently, according to the parameters of the measured system, individual measuring elements and modules are designed to send information to the selected microprocessor. In the last step, the issue of creating visualization software through the Processing environment is discussed.
Data Acquisition and Control System of Hydroelectric Power Plant Using Internet Techniques
Simulací vodní turbíny a synchronního generátoru lze provést pomocí různých simulačních nástrojů.
Model comparison of restoration paths for a system power station in MODES and PSCAD
Peterka, Michal ; Helbich, Jiří (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with the comparison of two restoration paths in case of the black start in the MODES and PSCAD simulation programs. The aim was to compare the voltage waveforms in individual nodes and the system frequency. At the same time, simulations were compared with a real test. The route models in the MODES program were created earlier and the task was to create the same routes in the PSCAD program using the parameters available from the MODES program. The route models in the PSCAD environment included both the original and the new models of individual elements, which had to be assembled from function blocks. The results of the programs differed slightly, which was caused mainly by the differences of some elements that were used. In the thesis, all the necessary information was stated to make the simulations repeatable.
Modelling Of Synchronous Machine For Stability Studies In Pscad
Koudelka, Jan
The paper deals with synchronous machine modelling for transient stability studies. Classical synchronous machine model (constant internal voltage after reactance) is described. This model was built in PSCAD using components from standard libraries and its setup and initialization is described. Comparison of simulation results on dynamic model for PSCAD and MODES software is done.
Modification of a diesel generator for parallel operation with the grid
Černý, Martin ; Ctibor, Jiří (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
This works applies the idea of adjustment an engine-generator, so it is possible to connect an engine-generator, or other type of a generator, to the electricity. Consequently, the machine can transform the power supply without an outage. This work concerns the complex approach, provides the descriptions of particular parts, sensors and active components of a motor-generator and includes the explanation of their function. Further research is focused on designing and drawing a plan with a choice of a control unit for the whole system. Finally, the work deals with the complex implementation and testing the machine in real operation.
