Analysis and Design of Information System

This work deals with the modifications of project MeDiMed, which ceased to meet the requirements it imposed. In the first part the main objectives, targets and methods to achieve them are defined. The second part deals with the theory that is needed to understand the issue. In the practical part, which is based on the theory is prepared SWOT analysis and the modified HOS-8 analysis of the current state, whose results are then analyzed. The next section presents design of new solution. The conclusion summarizes all the proposed solutions and knowledge that have been achieved in this work.
Utilization of EU structural funds in cross-border cooperation in the Czech Republic

The regional policy is one of the most important policies in the EU. The main goal of the regional policy is to reduce or stabilize disparities amongst their member countries and provide funding during one term. The target of this bachelor s thesis is to explain the term regional policy of the EU including the goals and the short description of EU funds in the Czech Republic. The next chapters characterize the history of the fund utilization in the Czech Republic during the 2004 to 2006 term, 2007 to 2013 term and up to date 2014 to 2020 term. The practical part is focused on the 2007 to 2013 term, especially on the amount of fund utilization and number of requests by the preferred axes. The data was obtained during two cross-border cooperation between the Czech Republic and Poland, and the Czech Republic and Bavaria.

Analysis of drawing EU Structural funds in the Czech Republic with a detailed focus on OP PIK

Since the third and possibly the last grant period for the Czech Republic in the framework of drawing the European Funds is underway, it is assumed that businesses successfully and efficiently draw funds with allocated resources for the Czech Republic. Agencies should also help to the effective implementation, however, their activities do not reflect the market and clients requirements properly. To confirm that, the Czech Republic was in previous years, one of the worst states in terms of efficiency of drawing on funds of the EU structural funds, which was caused by an improperly formed grant system by management authorities, as well as misconduct on the part of applicants and potential beneficiaries and agencies with their erroneous philosophies. Author task was to analyse the causes of drawing funds inefficiency with a detailed focus on Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation and Entreprise and Innovation for Competitiveness used mainly for businesses. Diploma thesis not only analyses the current grant situation in which entrepreneurs can submit their project applications but also proposes possible solutions how to help entrepreneurs in drawing on funds.

Diploma thesis is evaluating economical effectiveness on selected number of enterprises, which are drawn from European Union structural funds, and is determining critical factors of this type of funding during program period 2007-2013. Theoretical background of entire thesis creates bibliography research, which inc-ludes basic terminology, characteristic of selected grant heading, finally descripti-on of specific phases in the process of grant application. First part of practical section of thesis is analyzing external environment and sectoral characteristic including basic performance indicators. Effects from provided funds and critical factors are identifying through the outputs of financial analysis of selected number of enterprises in relation with results of primary research.

The main topic of my thesis called „Investment construction co-financed from EU Funds“ is basic description of principles and objectives of of structural (cohesion) policy including its development and instrument for its application – EU Funds. Specific attention is dedicated to Structural Funds and Cohesion Fund. The attention is also focused on Financial perspective for period 2007 – 2013 in theoretical part. Also the prediction for next multiannual financial Framework 2014+ is mentioned in the part. Practical part comprises description, analysis and evaluation of finished construction Project co-financed by Structural Funds. This project was carried out whithin Regional operation programme North-West and it solved the issue of „brownfields“ in the city center.
