Motivation as a leadership

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the topic of motivation as a method of leadership. The thesis is divided into two major parts: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical section is drawn upon reference books and explains basic theoretical knowledge regarding management, managerial functions, motivation, stimulation, motivation theories, motivation and communication deficiency. The theoretical findings have become the source and foundation for structuring the questions in the practical section.
The practical part is comprised of the interviews with the trainers of two sports clubs. The questions are designed to ascertain how important the motivation is for the trainers, what kind of motivational methods they use and which specific incentives they prefer. The trainers´ views are recorded, compared, summarized and evaluated.

Communication Mix of the Company in Sports Area

The main objective of this thesis is the analysis and evaluation of current communication mix of the company in business area and following suggestions for its improvement. The theoretical part describes the theoretical background associated with that issues. The second part focuses on the characteristics of the company, SWOT analysis and especially current communication mix, which covers the last part of the work developed proposals to improving the current situation.

Organisatoin of Volleyball Tournament

The purpose of this thesis is to propose suitable solutions for the tournament management based on analysis of mixed team volleyball tournament, to improve its financial security and to suggest recommendations leading to further increases of profits. The thesis is separated into three sections. First addresses the organization of sporting events, with the help of literary sources, and the funding of events. The second section includes the analysis of the mixed team volleyball tournament. The last section contains the recommendations for changes in the management of the tournament and for it’s more effective use of financial resources.

"Strategic Management of Floorball Club ACEMA Sparta Praha"

The thesis deals with the issues of the sports management. Author analyzes the differences amongst Czech legal entities suitable for sports clubs and summarizes advantages and disadvantages of those entities. The main goal of the thesis is to introduce sports managament which is shown in the example of the floorball club. Besides, author would like to present specifics of managing sports clubs as a non-profit organizations.

Sports Management in the club HC Lev Praha

This thesis deals with the management activities of the hockey club HC Lev Praha, which operates in a multinational league KHL. The aim of this thesis is to identify the causes of poor management performance, clarify and determine the consequences of assumptions (hypotheses) for future developments in the club. Finding the necessary information ensures environmental observation and communication with the personnel responsible aforementioned club. Additional facts and data will be detected directly from the suppliers of products and services. The benefit of the thesis will uncover so far unknown areas internationally, which by means of analysis and description will find out the current situation and help outline possible direction of development. A bonus of this thesis is the publication of the costs that workers had to face before the start of the first season of the Prague club.

Methodhology of management of sport non profit oranization in Czech republic

TThis study is focused on Czech Flying Disc Association. The theoretical part of the study explains theoretical background of business process management and project of transition of organizations to process management, otherwise the reengeneering of business processes. The second chapter of theoretical part of the study deals with the specific characteristics of sport organizations. Specified as sports associations in non- profit sector of economy, particularly in the context of Czech Republic. These organizations have the legal form of a civic association and belong to a group of nongovernmental organizations. The methodical part of the study describes the procedure chosen for application of process management in the selected organization and methods used in the practical part. The practical part includes a detailed description of the organization. This section summarizes the history of the organization, a mission, which was established roofing and sport events. Enter the organizational structure of the organization, operational structure of the Executive Body, the most important sources of finance and human resources organizations. It ranks the organization in the context of international sports federations and the institutional framework of sport in the country. The situational analysis of the organization has used a survey of sports federations, which forms an important part of the practical part. The survey is argued, described and evaluated. The paper summarizes findings from a survey in perspective of sports associations in general and in perspective of the particular organization. At the end of the survey the methodological note gives recommendations on methods used to polling sports federations. The situation analysis examines in detail the cost position of an organization and its customers. Situational analysis findings are summarized in the SWOT analysis. An important starting point for management of the organization is a vision and clear definition of the hierarchical structure of the organization's objectives. The objectives of the organization structure are listed and divided into sports, economic and social goals as the next section of the study. The final part of the study describes the different stages of process application project management in the organization in. Based on knowledge gained about the organization in the situational analysis are proposed goals for application of process management. These are adjusted according to the desire and capacity to project team of the organization. There is described method of obtaining data for process analysis. There are also specified processes in the organization, with particular emphasis on key organizational processes. Based on knowledge of processes and thanks to deep insight into the functioning of the organization are identified weaknesses in the organization. Selected key process is optimized. They formulated recommendations for management changes organization for further progress in the transition to the process management of the organization. At last method of evaluating the success of the organization is proposed.

Management joint-stock company in the form of sports club

Bachelor thesis closer look at the management of joint-stock company in a non-specific form of business. The aim was to present the essence of successful entrepreneurship hockey club, acting at the highest level in the long term. Theoretical foundations of a survey of management and managerial procedures. Second, the theoretical part is aimed at analyzing the management of selected club. Final summary contains the findings and proposals selected issues from the perspective of the student Faculty of Management.
