Regional differentiation of the population in the Czech Republic according to religious creed Abstract The aim of this thesis is to analyze the population of the Czech Republic according to their religion, using the data from the census and current records. Non-daily commuting with the capital city Prague as an example
Horáček, Jiří ; Čermák, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Nemeškal, Jiří (referee)
The Bachelor's thesis is focused on non-daily commuting, with Prague use as the example. Spatial mobility, its development and concepts associated with non-daily commuting are addressed in the introductory part. Followed by a section dealing with data and population census and housing. Thereafter, non-daily commuting data is analysed and compared with the absolute values of daily commuting. I also focused on the intensity of non-daily commuting and the relationship between non-daily commuting and long-term migration to Prague. The next section describes the survey, which confirms the results stemming from the analysis of data from the 2011Census. A review of the investigation and analysis has demonstrated a strong dependence between non-daily commuting and migration to Prague. Within Czechia, non-daily commuting reaches its highest intensity in the Southern Region. The only region that has an even higher level of commuting to Prague is the Central Bohemian Region, but this case is not involved in non-daily commuting lasting more than 24 hours. Development of socio-spatial differentiation in region Severovýchod using the results of census 1980 - 2011
Komárek, Marek ; Netrdová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Semian, Michal (referee)
Bachelor's thesis covers the development of socio-spatial differentiation in region NUTS II Severovýchod at the base of the data from the last four nationwide census. Monitoring is executed at the local level represented by municipalities. The region is also introduced in the Czech and European context. Quantitative research confirmed the expected trends. The concentration of core and peripheral areas has increased from the census in 1991 (the first census after the fall of socialism) regardless the population size of municipalities. Also the concentration of the population often exceeds the boundaries of municipalities with extended sphere of action. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

At the higher are compared three basic populations defined on the basis of religion. On the lower the internal structure of the population of person's "confession" is examined. The analysis shows that the number of people who belong to any religion between 1991-2011, greatly decreased, and that they form the part of the population which aged rapidly. The population is also according to the census more feminine. It turns out that it was more a result of the age structure than the tendency of women to declare their religious beliefs. Analysis also has shown that the characteristics typical for the population "with confession", are largely determined by the three most frequent confessions: Roman Catholic, Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and Czechoslovak Hussite Church.
