Digital Image Noise Reduction Methods
Čišecký, Roman ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
The master's thesis is concerned with digital image denoising methods. The theoretical part explains some elementary terms related to image processing, image noise, categorization of noise and quality determining criteria of denoising process. There are also particular denoising methods described, mentioning their advantages and disadvantages in this paper. The practical part deals with an implementation of the selected denoising methods in a Java, in the environment of application RapidMiner. In conclusion, the results obtained by different methods are compared.
Use of data mining in business processes
Procházková, Vendula ; Luhan, Jan (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the sales analysis of the products of a specific brand, focusing on the selection of TOP products. The thesis aims to automate this process and make the product selection process transferable to other brands in the company's portfolio. In order to realize the set objectives, I use a TOP product selection metric created by me. The results obtained by applying my solution are compared with competitors to determine the quality of my proposed TOP product selection process. Additionally, I compare my solution with selected data mining techniques and show its suitability for this type of analysis.
Image object detection using Haar-like features
Mašek, Jan ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with the image object detection using Haar--like features and AdaBoost algorithm. The text describes methods how to train and test an object detector. The main contributon of this thesis consists in creation image object detector in Java programming language. Created algorithms were integrated as plugin into the RapidMiner tool, which is widely used and known worldwide as tool for data mining. The thesis contains the instructions for created operators and few exaples for executing in RapidMiner tool. The functionality of image object detector was demonstrated on selected medical images.
Data Preprocessing
Vašíček, Radek ; Beran, Jan (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis surveys on problems preprocessing data. Forepart deal with view and description characteristic tests for description attributes, methods for work with data and attributes. Second part work describes work with program Rapidminer. It pays pay attention to single functions preprocessing in this programme describes their function. Third part equate to results with using methods preprocessing and without using data preprocessing.
Recognition of emotions in text using artificial intelligence
Vylíčil, Radek ; Karásek, Jan (referee) ; Mašek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the recognition of emotions from text using machine learning. The text describes methods how to train and test an recognition models. The main contribution of this thesis consists in creation decision tree in Java programming language. Created algorithm was integrated as plugin into the RapidMiner tool. The thesis contains some created examples for executing in RapidMiner. The functionality of decision tree was demonstrated on created database.
Web Application for Managing and Classifying Information from Distributed Sources
Vrána, Pavel ; Chmelař, Petr (referee) ; Drozd, Michal (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with data mining techniques and classification of the data into specified categories. The goal of this thesis is to implement a web portal for administration and classification of data from distributed sources. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to test different methods and find the most appropriate one for web articles classification. From the results obtained, there will be developed an automated application for downloading and classification of data from different sources, which would ultimately be able to substitute a user, who would process all the tasks manually.
Knowledge Discovery in Public Semistructured Data on the Web
Kefurt, Pavel ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The first part of the thesis deals with the methods and tools that can be used to retrieve data from websites and the tools used for data mining. The second part is devoted to practical demonstration of the entire process. Web Czech Dance Sport Federation, which is available on www.csts.cz , is used as the source web site.
Data Mining
Slezák, Milan ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The thesis is focused on an introduction of data mining. Data mining is focused on finding of a hidden data correlation. Interest in this area is dated back to the 60th the 20th century. Data analysis was first used in marketing. However, later it expanded to more areas, and some of its options are still unused. One of methodologies is useful used for creating of this process. Methodology offers a concise guide on how you can create a data mining procedure. The data mining analysis contains a wide range of algorithms for data modification. The interest in data mining causes that number of data mining software is increasing. This thesis contains overviews some of this programs, some examples and assessment.
Use of Data Mining in Company Processes
Měchura, Dalibor ; Kříž, Jiří (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
This masters thesis focuses on data mining techniques and business intelligence analysis. In accordance with the analysis of the current situation in the company, a complementary solution to the problem is proposed and a view of the existing data is provided from a different perspective, namely using RapidMiner. The output of the thesis is thus concrete analytical outputs for decision support in the company.
