Validity of Local Positioning System
Németh, Filip ; MPA, David Prycl, (referee) ; Hanák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this presented thesis is to verify the validation of LPS, which runs on the principle of wave radiations, UWB technology in particular. The testing protocol verifies the precision of system functions in various places and two diferent altitudes of the pitch. The ultimate precision of monitoring was recorded in the middle of the pitch, vanishing to the sides. In a higher altitude, with no surrounding walls, the recordings from the middle of the pitch were nearly similar to the sides of it. The anchor altitudes of the mechanism affect the overall monitored results. In comparison, the accuracy of tag placed approximately in a plane of anchors was lower than tag placed in a vest of an athlete.
New directions for waterproofing of underground transport
Čech, Tomáš ; Čížek, Luboš (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of waterproofing of underground constructions using an LLDPE membrane hinged on anchors. In the future, this method will replace the commonly used waterproofing system in Scandinavia with extruded polyethylene foam. This method of tunnel construction and waterproofing is compared with the NRTM method, often used in Central Europe. The thesis describes the installation of a waterproofing system, especially materials, accessories, welding devices and auxiliary installation equipment. The main focus of the thesis is to verify the reliability of the individual types of welds and to assess the waterproofing system in terms of implementation and environmental demands.
Religious symbols and their using in current society
SZARVASOVÁ, Michala
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the use of religious symbols in present times. The first part describes the symbol, the religious symbol and ten selected symbols, these being the Star of David, cross, anchor, fish, Hand of Fatima (Hamsa), crescent, yin and yang, tree, elephant, skull. Furthermore, the thesis describes the use of religious symbols in present times, which is followed by research, which was carried out in the form of questionnaire, its processing and evaluation. The research draws conclusions from the current use of religious symbols, respondents' relations to religious symbols, society's awareness and beliefs in religious symbols.

Use of the anchoring effect in marketing communication
Režný, Michal ; Vranka, Marek (advisor) ; Báča, Ladislav (referee)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the study of the anchoring effect, one of the most common cognitive biases, and its potential use in marketing communication. The first section of the first part provides a theoretical summary of the anchoring effect as a psychological phenomenon in the form in which it was defined by Amos Tversky and Daniel Kahneman in the early 1970s. It addresses the possible explanations of anchoring and also gives a brief introduction to related cognitive biases, understanding of which is crucial for further orientation in the use of anchoring in marketing communication. The main body of the first part is formed by a theoretical research of academic literature and consequently conducted studies and experiments. The terminological discrepancies between fields when it comes to anchoring in marketing communication are dealt with special attention. A considerable part of this section is dedicated to the different types of use of anchoring in marketing communication. The second part of this paper is an empirical one. It describes an experiment conducted by the author of this work with the objective of studying the effect of anchoring and its usability in practice on the example of fictitious car commercials. The results of the experiment suggest that while there is an evidence...
Analysis of structure of watertower
Roudný, Tomáš ; Bažant,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The work deals with design of load-bearing structure of watertower. The solution include design and assessment of all main parts of watertower according to ČSN EN 1992 in the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state (crack limitation).
DC motors for general purposes.
Randa, Daniel ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
This work deals with innovation DC permanent magnet motor for low power. The work is divided into three tasks. The first part is to survey serially produced DC motors. The second part is to choose one particular DC motor drawn from the survey and carry out its analysis and detailed description. The last part is to design innovations to selected DC motor.

The Structure of the Atypical Family House in Vrchlabí
Vondráček, Vít ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The subject of master’s thesis is design and assessment of steel load-bearing construction of atypical family house in Vrchlabí. Structure is designed as multi-storey steel structure, cooperating with stiff concrete core. The design was considered in four different options which combines possibility of using steel, steel and timber with different way of stiffness for whole structure. There is also composite steel-concrete alternative floor trimmer for selected option. Design and assessment was conducted in accordance with the applicable standards and by using software Scia Engineer.
Design and analysis of electromagnet
Macek, Pavel ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This work deals with a proposal and an analysis of electromagnets. The first chapter is an introduction into solve of the problem. In the second chapter there is a general discussion about basic relations of the electromagnetic field. The third chapter is dedicated to the operation principle and construction of electromagnets and is supplemented with their common classification. The fourth chapter introduces the Finite Element Method and the FEMM programm. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the DC electromagnet, the sixth chapter analysis single-phase AC electromagnet. In the seventh chapter there is a review of results of general analysis of both electromagnets.
