ECG data recorder
Hruškovský, Antonín ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the issue of long-term ECG recording, used in medicine for monitoring of cardiac anomalies. Author focuses on explaning the general concepts in the first part. Author describes measuring methods and issues associated with measuring. Comparison of existing devices and design of solution with own features are in next chapter. Next is comparison and selecting of formats for recording measured data and description of device connectivity. In next chapter author focuses on hardware design and implementation of device. After that author describes software solution design for microcontroller, Bluetooth module and smartphone. Author introduces possible improvements for future generation of the device and then describes results of testing at the end of this work.
Hybrid Control System for Quadrocopter
Sojka, Stanislav ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Dittrich, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and theoretical description of the hybrid control system for quadrocopter. First, a mathematical model is presented, sensors needed for development and their principles. This work shows the system architecture design and scheme of communication channels between the blocks. Implementation section discusses specific uses of computing nodes/sensors and their settings. In this thesis there are illustrated messages sent between computing nodes and the control loop machine. It also describes how to test the sensors, measurement results and techniques for improvement.
3D controller
Hrubý, Lukáš ; Fujcik, Lukáš (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
The following work deals with problems of scanning of device position in space, processing of collected data about its position and sending these data to end device. In scope of this work will be created special controller which will use accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer to scan its actual position in respect to Earth and it will wirelesly send its position to controlled device. Individual components for proposal will be chosen based on previous experience and available documentation.
Design of Electric Hand Drill
Burjeta, Josef ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design an electric hand drill, respecting the functional, structural, technological and ergonomics requirements with emphasis on the aesthetic value of the proposal. My goal is to improve ergonomics of the device and to facilitate its usage. I would also like to enhance its function using modern technologies and brighten up existing market.
Robot Controlled by PIC Microprocessor Unit
Heřman, Petr ; Luža, Radim (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes design of a cheap robot. It includes implementation of firmware of low level control unit based on microcontroller PIC. The firmware drives motors, gains sensors data and communicates with the high level control unit. Furthermore the thesis presents realisation of connection to the robotic operation system ROS and its standard structures allowing usage of existing packages for the robot teleoperation and displaying sensor data on the remote computer. The thesis finally reports experiments with the robot. The constructed prototype is the model of the robotic lawn mower, however the whole solution has universal usage.
Flight Characteristics Control System for Autonomous Drone
Červenka, Ondřej ; Strnadel, Josef (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor thesis is to build a drone and implementation of safety measures in case of RC signal loss and also stabilizing the drone in the air using GPS and other available sensors. The thesis describes on history and development of the drones, their construction, components and parts of which it consists. Practical aspect focuses on building the drone, implementation of code for autonomous behaviour and testing of the final product.

Řezníček, Pavel ; Dlugoš, Jozef (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with possibility of using a mobile phone to measure vehicle dynamics and determine the accuracy of this measurement. In the research part, it is first mentioned what methods are used to produce sensors for mobile phones. Next, a description of individual sensors that can be used for vehicle dynamics measurement, the principle by which the sensors record measured values and their inaccuracies. The practical part shows with which professional device the accuracy of the mobile phone is compared, how data can be collected from both devices and how the comparison measurement was performed. This section also describes the ways in which the measured data of the mobile phone can be improve for better accuracy, and finally the comparison of the measured values from both devices from different points of view.
System for Trajectory Tracking of Objects Moving in Space
Jakubíček, Patrik ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with a system for tracking the trajectory of the moving object. Further, also for obtaining additional motion data and other information. Thesis focuses on flying objects. There are described all system components and way of their communication. Next, the progress of the expansion unit for measuring by the BeagleBone Black platform. Also there is described testing that took place during aerobatic gliders races, including the demonstrations of recording data and their processing.
9DOF module for orientation measurement
Hojdík, Matej ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design of 9DOF module for the evaluation of orientation in space. The thesis includes a theoretical description of sensors, mathematical apparatus for rotating and the Kalman filter. The practical part deals with the design of hardware, firmware and software, whereby the mathematical formulas set out in the theoretical part are applied. In the last part a testing of the created module is presented.
New features for real-time positioning system locator
Studený, Jakub ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the detection of falls and impacts, based on data obtained from inertial sensors, and by measuring the distance using a laser. The aim of this thesis is to extend the functionality of locators from Sewio. The thesis describes the procedure for designing algorithms for detection of falls and impacts. Then there is a procedure for development of hardware and software solution, for laser distance measurement by locator, together with presentation of achieved measurement results realized by locator after implementation of proposed solution. The work also emphasizes the minimization of energy consumption of individual solutions. In conclusion, there is a discussion of achieved results with evaluation of efficiency and usability of proposed solutions.
