Laboratory exercises explaining network technologies using various simulation instruments
Vaľuš, Dávid ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Bečková, Zuzana (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the preparation of an operating system, a simulation environment and the creation of two laboratory exercises explaining network technologies. In the theoretical part protocols DHCP, FTP, TFTP, HTTP, and NAT service are described. The practical part focuses on the installation of ns-3 and GNS3 programmes and their utilization and settings on OS Ubuntu 18.10. Moreover, it deals with the preparation of laboratory exercises created in the simulation programmes mentioned above together with tutorials, self-check questions and HTTP server in the Python programming language.
Matlab environment potential for cooperation with other applications and programming languages
Štefek, Jiří ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Atassi, Hicham (advisor)
This thesis is focused on possibillities of Matlab enviroment. Mainly shows the possibillities of sharing and processing data between Matlab and other programs and programming languages. The main goal is to create an introducement and overview in these possibillities and shows potentialities to present data through web sites.
The monitoring system for smart concrete construction condition
Brouček, Jan ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis describes designing of a wireless system which allows to transmit measured data of sensors made of smart concrete. Measured data are transmitted from measuring points to the collecting unit, which stores them, and pass them to the server which is connected in the Internet network. The design of the system is focused to achieve low power consumption of all used components to provide the longest possible operation time, when using primary lithium cell. The design should be also able to provide possibility of easy modification of the measuring points.
Automatic configuration of virtual infrastructure
Kadlíček, Jan ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Uher, Václav (advisor)
This master thesis focuses on the issue of automation of virtual infrastructure and available tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Puppet. The individual tools are compared here in sequence for installations or configuration creation. The result of this semester thesis is the selection of a suitable tool for automation of virtual infrastructure.
Specifics of and differences in the development of server applications on the JavaSE and .NET platforms
Varga, Ondrej ; Pfeifer, Václav (referee) ; Kovář, Petr (advisor)
Nowadays, in this modern world full of technology, it would be very difficult to find someone, who could live without using the computer. The computer applications are made by the always developing programming languages. The one of the newest and the most modern platforms are the JavaSE and the .NET, which two I needed to use for this bachelor's thesis. The newest developing platforms can be used in a lot of section of computer programs, in the network applications as well. Some classes dealing with exactly this section are implemented in them. Some of the commands are already programmed in these classes, so it helps to be easier our job at programming an application like this. Nowadays, a very frequently used network application is the FTP server, which uses FTP (File Transfer Protocol) for the communication with the client. It is a well established internet protocol defined for transfer data (and information about files) thorough computer networks, which uses TCP. Goal of this bachelor's thesis is to check abilities of development of the server side of the network applications on the JavaSE and .NET platforms. It means, to develop an FTP server application on both platforms, which includes the basic services, and after programming this network application resume the pros and cons of the used platforms. Chapter 1 describes the theory of platform JavaSE, developing language Java and used developing environment NetBeans. Properties of platform .NET, developing language C# and developing environment Visual Studio are described in chapter 2. Chapter 3 contests the realization of the practical part of the layout. Next chapter includes the basics of networking and the general characteristic of the FTP. In the last chapter are all the achievements and knowledge.
Camera Recording Management System
Šulc, Ondřej ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a network security system focusing on compatibility with the widest possible group of IP cameras from various manufacturers and support for remote access to records even from places outside the local network. This problem is solved using two closely cooperating applications. The first application runs on a device in the local network (in our case miniPC Raspberry Pi). The application creates the records by receiving and storing RTSP transmissions from individual cameras. It then modifies these records into a form usable for display on websites and sends the second application from which the user can access them. This application is referred to in the text as agent or agent application. The second application has a web user interface and serves the end user as a tool to manage agents, IP cameras and captured records. By principle of the application, it is important for it to be accessible on a publicly available domain. This application is referred to in the text as web or web application. The use of this architecture does not violate any of the network communication standards, which include, in particular, the initialization of communication from the network behind the NAT service.

Board Game User Interface with a Camera
Dále aplikace analyzuje stav hry a rozhodne o svém následujícím tahu.
New laboratory exercises in OMNeT++ simulation enviroment
Petrůj, Jakub ; Sládok, Ondřej (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis illustrates a draft and creation of two lab exercises in a network simulation environment of OMNeT++ with INET Framework extension on behalf of Communication Technologie course. Initialy, simulated environment itself is defined and, including NED language and its modules, then the process of simulation and analysis of its results are presented and discused. Further more this work describes theoretical network knowledge required to create the simulation and treat its results. The first methodical part of this work compares HTTP, FTP, Telnet and VOIP protocols in simultaneous and non simultaneous running, with increased occurance of errors on line or its complete outage. The second methodical part of this work observes dynamic network configuration using DHCP protocol more in detail. Futhermore, this part studies the question of both non-efective and efective subnetting and handles issues concerning static adressing of network.
