Equipment for drying durable "Biltong" meat with warm air
Gabriel, Jan ; Foltýnová, Dana (referee) ; Čípek, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design proposal of a meat dryer of the "Biltong" type. The aim of the thesis is to design the construction of the device according to the given parameters. The first part of the thesis consists of a research of current principles and equipment used for meat drying. In the second part, possible conceptual variants are described. Based on the conceptual part with regard to the assignment, suitable components of the dryer are selected. The practical part then deals with the performance design and construction solution of the dryer.
Upgrading the Subsystem for Testing of the Safety Function of a Valve
Němec, Petr ; Fiedler, Petr (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this work is to develop a theoretical basis for the modernization of the subsystem for testing the valve function, the subsequent design and implementation of the visualization. The thesis briefly describes the steam turbine circulation and bypass technology. Thus, the technology of the system in which the safety function itself is located. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the functional safety analysis and describes the development of three analysis methods FTA, HAZOP and FMEA. The thesis also deals with the analysis and description of an existing application using a state diagram. From the subsequent analysis, the design of a new visualization is realized. The visualization is tested in the thesis using simulation which is performed on a real PLC and also using PLCSIM software.
Steel interior staircase in the polytechnical building in Bratislava
Redecha, Martin ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design and assessment of the supporting steel structure of the staircase in the multifunctional building in Bratislava. The staircase is located in the entrance atrium in an open space between the 1st floor to 3NP with a total height difference of 6850 mm floors. The approximate ground plan dimensions of the staircase construction are 5500 x 5100 mm. The construction of the staircase was designed from enclosed SHS 50x4 steel profiles in steel S355 J2. The construction system represents truss beams of various shapes that are connected to each other by horizontal and oblique dams. All rods are from the profile. Anchoring is rebuilt by anchor plates with a thickness of 15 mm with 4 chemical anchors and threaded rods M12, 8.8. The static calculation was the program by RFEM 6.06. Subsequently, manual calculation and assessment of the most stressed rods were made by internal forces and design and calculation of anchoring. The C-Fix Online program 1.1.58.1 Fischer was also used to design chemical anchors.
Concept car design for 2030
Bartůněk, Jan ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The automotive industry is constantly evolving and facing new opportunities and challenges. In this thesis, a concept car for 2030 has been proposed that focuses on electromobility and autonomous driving mainly in terms of interior space. The proposal also addresses the trend of the constant increase in the size of cars. The concept is designed to be compact but also spacious thanks to the use of a special chassis for electric propulsion. The design has been conceived in a minimalist and sustainable way. This work represents a different approach to the future of passenger cars, and may help to further the development of electric cars.
Design of Electric Pruning Shears
Žigo, Adam ; Křenek, Ladislav (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of cordless pruning shears. It´s aim is to design such pruning shears, which fulfil ergonomic, structural, and functional requirements and align with secondary goals. First, we made research of currently available commercial products with focus on their appearance and technical side. Thanks to this research three concepts were designed, from which one final was chosen. This resulting final design complies with basic functional, ergonomical, and aesthetic needs and adds another functions and improvements for a better experience.
GLASS, LIGHT, OPTICS
Ilič, Andrej ; Fulínová, Katarína Kudějová - (referee) ; Tobola, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a glass pendant interior light. The author utilizes optical principles to achieve the desired lighting effect while contextualizing the piece within an interior space. The light design is conceived as a modular system, enabling the customer to assemble multiple units as a construction kit. The result of the thesis is a prototype ready for mass production.
Design of Alarm Clock
Šmahel, Martin ; Rubínová, Dana (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of alarm clock design. The primary goal is to create such an alarm clock that will fulfill all the expected functions of a classic alarm clock, but at the same time will be an added value for the user from an aesthetic and functional point of view. The alarm clock must also meet safety, ergonomic and user-friendly requirements. The design is based on market research and user needs analyses, which allow finding room for innovation and product improvement.
Smart Mirror
Peňas, Dalibor ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
A smart mirror is a smart home device that extends the standard function of a mirror by adding information features displayed on its reflection surface. The main goal of the thesis is to define the concept of Smart Mirror and specify one of the possible applications and its realization. The creation of the mirror includes its design using the FreeCAD program and then construction using 3D printing technology. As the main software, the MagicMirror platform is used. It offers a quality solution for transmitting information to its user, which is extended by a module that offers a certain form of locking its user profiles and personal data using a fingerprint reader. A motion sensor is also used, which helps save display usage and creates statistics. The statistics can be used to link up the users’ routines to other smart home appliances.
Design of Game Cockpit
Bališová, Natália ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a modern cockpit designed for both gaming and work use. The main goal was to create a cockpit that combines aesthetics with ergonomics and practicality, thereby providing the user with maximum comfort and efficiency. The thesis emphasizes the combination of form and function, focusing on details such as the solid attachment of the backrest, the dynamic and adjustable seat and footrest, as well as the freely attached headrest using a magnet. The result is a cockpit that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical and comfortable, enhancing its value for users seeking an efficient and stylish solution for their gaming or work needs.
Design of a Self-sufficient Residential Module for Desert Areas
Novotný, Viktor ; Blaha, Tomáš (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
A growing number of today's travellers are realizing that deserts, despite their apparent emptiness, have much to offer. Those who want to experience the desert intensely go on multi-day walking pilgrimages in large groups accompanied by guides with camels carrying food, equipment and water. Not everyone is necessarily comfortable with the level of unfreedom that comes with dependence on a group. This thesis offers a solution by designing one of a set of living modules between which a pair of travellers can wander independently. The design of the module is inspired by local buildings. The modules are adapted to desert conditions, easily transportable to the site, providing basic comfort, sufficient water and electricity generation.
