The thesis deals with the issue of strengthening the competitiveness of an engineering company based in the South Moravian Region, whose object of business is the manufacture and sale of electric motors, pumps, mixers, generators and derived devices. Proposed solutions are focused on the extension and improving of existing services with the aim of competitive advantages developing and also on the extension of activities and scope of company that will lead to the acquisition of new customers. Based on the conclusions of the analyzes is defined the future direction of the company, its strategic objectives and concrete proposals leading to the development of competitive advantages and strengthen the competitiveness of the company
Marketing strategy for CRM IS

The Master’s thesis deals with the issue of the proposal of a marketing strategy in Melzer company in the area of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) of Information Systems (IS). It concentrates on modern marketing conception and emphasizes the necessity of effective CRM. It explains important factors in connection with successful CRM IS implementation. It analyses domestic market of CRM IS including information system QI which is supplied by Melzer company as well as an internal CRM atmosphere in the firm. In the practical part there are analytical conclusions and recommendations leading to the proposal of the marketing strategy. This should significantly enable the firm to penetrate into the market of CRM IS and become successful.

This thesis discusses the philosophy of customer relationship management. Main goal of the work is to analyze the processes in a specific company and to recommend a solution for customer relationship. Thesis is divided into three parts. Theoretical part presents readers with basic concepts of customer relationship management, its principles, development and strategy. Furthermore, pays attention to customer and their value. Methodical part defines the method of analysis, which is applicated in practical part. Practical part is focused on a specific company, on its introduction, history and analysis of internal and external environment. In conclusion of this thesis individual recommendations and improvement proposals are listed.

The subject of business is the production and sale of leather shoes for men, women and children. The proposals are aimed at activities by which the company deepen and reinforce relationships with its customers. Based on the analyzes and mystery shopping I’m able to examine the competition and define the steps that will lead to building a strong premium brand and increase customer satisfaction. My goal is using a specific approach to create the consumer shopping experience, develop the businesses activities and promote product sales. The basic standard applied in the creation of the proposal, is to develop customer value.

The suggestions for improvement of this business focus on the development of relationships with customers and on the expansion of activities that will lead to increased business awareness and attracting new customers. On the basis of conducted analyses the thesis specifies the recourses defining the future direction of the business. These recourses include vision of the business, mission, corresponding strategic objectives and specific steps to strengthen competitiveness. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused mostly on the importance of the customer value and on the comparison of individual approaches to its management. In the analytical part these approaches are applied to the company in order to identify qualities and failures of its business performance. The results are then the base for suggestions to improve the current situation.
