Development of WAAM process parameters for thin-walled components made of magnesium alloy AZ61

The thesis deals with the development of WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) process parameters for thin-walled parts made of magnesium alloy AZ61. The aim of the thesis is to find suitable process parameters and describe their influences on the welding process. To achieve this goal, these parameters were experimentally tested. It was found that the parameter of boost phase current and the duration of its application have the highest influence on the weld geometry. The stability of the welding process was then influenced by the electrode feed rate during the boost and burn phases. Based on these results, a final set of parameters was created, which successfully welded a thin-walled part composed of 50 layers and reaching a height of 130 mm.

Crayfish as a Model Taxon in Primary and Secondary School

This thesis brings a review of the crayfish topic. It aims to be useful for teachers who decide to explore the topic deeper with the class. The theoretical part stars with crayfish seen from the historical and cultural point of view and crayfish as an important source of food for humans. In the following chapters, systematics and global distribution of crayfish is disscused as well as their morphology and anatomy with the aim to highlight facts, that can be used in lessons. After that, six species living in the Czech republic are introduces, all the native species and signal crayfish, spiny-cheek crayfish and marbled crayfish. Than we focus on the position of crayfish in food webs and also on all factors that threaten the populatons of native species: influencing and regulating the riverbeds, competition with invasive species (vectors of crayfish plague), other parasites and pathogenes and also the influence of drought and the climate changes. The last chapter of the theoretical part discusses the different approaches to crayfish protection, repatriation of the native species, but also the approaches which aim to limit the spreading of invasive species including their elimination. Characteristics of fire equipment and fire extinguishers

The topic of this bachelor thesis dealt with the characteristics of fire safety equipment and fire extinguishers. The theoretical part is the emphasis on obtaining information related to the issue. Legislative sources and expert texts related to the properties of fire safety equipment were searched. The aim of the theoretical part was to summarize the classification and disposal associated with fire safety equipment and fire extinguishers. Furthermore, the characteristic was listed with the introduction of manufacturers on the Czech market for selected fire safety equipment and fire extinguishers associated with a basic understanding of chemicals and their toxicology. In the practical part, persons who have professional and non-professional knowledge of the issue were addressed and data were obtained in the form of a questionnaire survey, which was evaluated. Using 16 questions, which included a questionnaire survey, it was found that respondents from both surveyed groups are sufficiently informed across the topic related to fire safety equipment and fire extinguishers. Some respondents without expertise had surprising results with the volume of their practical and theoretical knowledge. Part of the practical part was a summary of fire extinguisher products that are on the market in the Czech Republic. This market summary pointed out the variability of technical parameters of fire extinguishers, which are available products in the Czech Republic. The monitored factors for the evaluation of products on the Czech market were: manufacturer's name, type of fire extinguisher handling, type of fire extinguisher, extinguishing ability, type of extinguishing agent, amount of extinguishing agent, discharge gas and type designation stated by the manufacturer. The bachelor's thesis can be used in practice as a material used to increase awareness of the issue, expand knowledge and reduce the risk associated with the handling of fire safety equipment and fire extinguishers.

Female Characters and the Relationship of Women to Children in Roald Dahl's Children's Fiction

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is a literary analysis of the characteristics of female characters in Roald Dahl's work for children's readers. Roald Dahl became known as the author of grotesque prose for adults, and his work for children is characterized by black humour, hyperbole, grotesque elements and some controversy of his works (The Witches, George's Marvellous Medicine, etc). The work will firstly introduce Roald Dahl and his work in different categories of readers (children and adult readers) and then will deal with the topic of the author's anti-feminist approach to female characters, especially in Dahl's prose The Witches. The theoretical basis of the work will compare the concept of female characters in the classic fairy tale by Grimm Brothers (Bettelheim) and the characteristics of female characters in Dahl's work for children's readers. The practical part of the work will further assess the influence of role models and model characters on the child reader in Dahl's work for children, including possible controversies in the reading and interpretation. The role of humour, hyperbole and grotesque will be the subject of final analysis within my research as part of the Bachelor thesis.

Tragicomedia de Lisandro y Roselia: characteristics of the braggart soldier stage type

This bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of the type of braggart soldier or fanfaron in the play Tragicomedia de Lisandro y Roselia by Sancho de Muňón. In the theoretical part of my work, I first deal with the issue of how the character of a braggart soldier is generally defined by authorities. Then there is a brief characterization of the play, where I mention the most important factors of the play and based on that, I state a research question on which character would best fit the profile of the fanfaron soldier. The practical part consists of statements of this character and their detailed analysis.

Master's thesis deals with newly emerging forms of public preschool education. The research objective was to describe and evaluate the Center for preschool children, to characterize and compare it with the system of education in nursery schools. Evaluate their contribution to society and educational effects. Monitor vision and expectations of parents. To identify the necessary information, I used methods of observation of the educational conditions, observation of the work educator, interview with a educator, interview with the head of the Center and questionnaire for parents.

Breeding of invertebrates and their use in school teaching

The submitted Bachelor thesis has a retrieval character. It focuses on general characteristic of the selected groups of the Invertebrates and also on its breeding, which is suitable for home and school environment. The handled topic relates to my subject of study, it includes the guide, the possibilities of breeding of the Invertebrates and the selected species. It can be used by the teachers, but also pupils and students of Biology. Some parts are also dedicated to the basic elements to which is important to pay attention during the lessons and which can be well observed on the organism. The introduction concentrates the brief characteristic of the Invertebrates, it includes the list of used terms and it generally informs about the principles of breeding. The following chapters consist of the characteristic and breeding of the selected species, examples of the suitable variets and also the problem issues, which can appear during the breeding. Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia

Title of Work: Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia. Objectives of Thesis: The main goal of our work is to compare team game performances of Group C and compare the final results of the Czech Republic representation in detail with its rivals at the European Championship in 2013. Partial target is a comparison of average merits between groups of teams which made it to the second round of the tournament of the European Championship 2013 which didn't succeed. Methods of Work: The chief method of the writing was a quantitative analysis of video records of all of the games of Group C, European Championship 2013 with detailed final results of the Czech Republic and its rivals. While using the method of observation, we registered the characteristics of the games and then compared it within the participating teams. In the second part, we compared the final results of pointers of the moving teams to the qualification and teams which didn't' succeed in Group C, European Championship 2013 in Basketball.
