Battery pack for an electric car
List, Jaroslav ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
Thesis deals with the design of a battery box with lithium-ion technology, for the largest possible driving range of the BUT SuperEL II electric car. Based on the analysis of the electric vehicle available space and the parameters of the electronic system, the maximum size of the entire set of 84s130p batteries was designed. 18650 cells with NMC technology were selected due to the very high gravimetric and volumetric density, which reaches 274 Wh/kg and 564 kWh/m3. The total nominal capacity of the designed battery boxes in the electric car is 138 kWh. The total gravimetric energy density of the designed box is 215.6 Wh/kg. It allows the electric car to reach the theoretical range with a consumption of 14 kWh/100 km of almost 1000 km. The individual battery modules of the battery box are controlled for optimal operating conditions by means of a BMS. The whole set is divided into 5 battery boxes. These boxes are manufactured using the technology of bent welded sheets from aluminum alloy EN AW 1050A and steel 1.4301. FEM analyzes were performed to verify the mechanical strength of the designed structure. The work also deals with the design of battery modules and their connection.

Selected crimes related to addictive substances Abstract The thesis deals with selected offenses related to addictive substances, namely three crimes, illegal production and other handling of narcotic and psychotropic substances and poisons according to § 283 of the Criminal Code, the possession of the narcotic and psychotropic substance and the poison according to § 284 of the Criminal Code and the endangerment under the influence of addictive substance according to § 274 of the Criminal Code. Selected crimes are detailed in terms of the aspects of actus reus and mens rea, complicity and participation, the developmental stages of the crime and of qualified actus reus. In the case of individual crimes, the object is first analyzed, the need for protection of such object and its definition in the literature is examined. Next is investigated the actus reus which is defined by the examples illustrated by the different types of conduct by which the crime can be committed or by other aspects of the actus reus of the crime. For each of the crimes, the subject and the subjective aspect are defined. In the case of complicity and participation, the different types of complicity are analysed and also how the theory distinguishes them, then there are analyzed examples illustrating the kind of complicity in the...
The thermodynamics of DNA-hairpin formation
Sgallová, Ráchel ; Římal, Václav (advisor) ; Profant, Václav (referee)
Serum response factor (SRF) is a transcription factor which binds to a highly conserved DNA sequence called the CArG box. According to the nucleotide sequence of CArG box it could form a hairpin structure or a cruciform. In this master thesis, the structure of the CArG box in a human gene c-fos was studied by nuclear magnetic resonance. 1 H spectra at temperatures 274{356 K, two-dimensional 1 H{1 H NOESY spectra, and two-dimensional 1 H{13 C HMBC spectra for DNA sequences with lengths of 12, 14 and 16 nucleoti- des were acquired. The thermodynamic parameters of formation of the secondary structure in the samples were determined from the measured temperature depen- dencies. The hairpin formation in the samples was con rmed based on the NOESY spectra and the lack of dependency of the melting temperature on concentration. The observed difference of the secondary structure from B-DNA could serve as a possible explanation of the high a nity of SRF to CArG box. 1

The burgher chronicle of České Budějovice of the Early Modern Period
KVĚTOVÁ, Miroslava
This thesis deals with the study of historiographical narrative sources of České Budějovice from the early modern period. Research is set in a European context. Especially in the German-speaking countries, a number of challenging studies have already emerged from which it is possible to draw suggestions and comparisons. Methodologically, the work is focused on the research of historical-anthropological issues, which could reveal the thought-world of burghers in the early modern period. However, the basis of the dissertation is a codicological analysis of the external and internal features of the manuscripts and their comparison. First, the thesis introduces individual sources, including biographies of scribes overlapping into the 19th century, then the research interest of historians in these sources is presented up to the present day. It is essential to identify the types of sources in which chronicle or memorial records can be found, and to determine the forms of their preservation. Emphasis is also placed on the authors and motivations that led them to create the chronicles. The aim of the analysis of thematic areas of records and their mutual comparison is to find out whether urban historiographical narrative sources could create urban identity and could form the image of the city. The main contribution of this work is to deepen the understanding of historiographical narrative sources of cities and to research of the thinking and action of early modern urban inhabitants. The work also deals with the comparison with other important writing centres in the 16th to 18th century and examines the impact of historical events and artistic and cultural directions on the form of these sources. Part of this work is a list of narrative sources for the history of České Budějovice from the early modern period, which can be used for better understanding the issue and could support further research on the city's history.
Analýza různých technologií odchovu telat
HAMPLOVÁ, Michaela
In cattle breeding, it is necessary to pay great attention to calves, especially to the quality of their housing. Calf rearing is one of the riskiest parts of the whole breed. This requires a thorough development of biological, nutritional, ethological and technological factors of breeding. The aim of this thesis was to compare two different ways of housing calves (individually vs. pairs) in roofed outdoor individual boxes with feedeng twice a day and evaluate their influence on the course of growth and health from birth to weaning. The experiment was carried out at the Číčov farm, which i sone of the centers of Alimex a.s. Nezvěstice, farming in the district of Plzeň - South. The actual monitoring of the calves took place from 1. 1. 2018 to 31. 7. 2018. Both groups of calves included in the experiment were fed the same amount of feed (native milk, milk replacer, TMR). Each group had the same number of pieces - 12 calves (heifers) of the Holstein cattle breed. At the end of the reporting period, calves that were raised together in pairs at average weight of 227.17 kg during the dairy period, while calves reared individually during the same period reached a final weight of 215 kg. The average daily increase in calves with a common rearing was 0.89 kg, in calves of the second group this value was lower, namely 0.83 kg. However, tthe difference between the mean final weights of both groups was not statistically significant (p > 0.05). All calves included tn the exxperiment were fed with appropriate quality colostrum (immunoglobulin content of 100 g/l or more) within 2 hours of delivery. Immunity of all experimental calves was sufficient, so the level of immunoglobulins did not fall below 50 g/l, with more than 85 % of calves having an immunoglobulin content above 55 g/l. In calves reared individually during the experiment, diarrhea was noted in three animals and respiratory disease in four animals. In rearing together, there was diarrhea in five calves. Respiratory disease occured in four calves. In both experimental groups of calves, it was observed that immediately after drinking, the animals were mutually sucking mules, but the calves housed together with a lower frequency also licked the polypropylene plates separating the VIB and nibbled empty buckets.

Melting of a methylated CpG-containing DNA double helix
Bušková, Hana ; Římal, Václav (advisor) ; Hanyková, Lenka (referee)
The melting of a DNA double helix into two single strands is a crucial process for life on Earth. Previous experimental data on the self-complementary sequence CTTm5 CGAAG containing 5-methylcytosine suggests that the melting of an oligonucleotide might be a three-state, rather than two-state process. To assess this, 1 H NMR spectra were measured at varied concentrations of the oligonucleotide in temperatures between 274 and 366 K. Through analysis of the chemical shifts of aromatic hydrogens undergoing fast chemical exchange, we have determined that the most likely intermediate state between a double helix and a single stranded random coil is a structure consisting of two oligonucleotide molecules rather than a structured single strand.
Using of the GeoGebra software to solve problems of mathematical analysis
VAVRUŠKOVÁ, Radka
The present thesis deals with the solution of examples of mathematical analysis, specifically from the examples of derivatives of functions using mathematical GeoGebra. Derivative taught in secondary schools, but in practice, the school will meet them, especially in the last years of grammar schools. In this thesis, we will show examples of different solutions using GeoGebra. These examples are selected from different collections of tasks so that the whole issue has undergone differentiation. Calculated model examples should assist students in practicing derivatives. Together with examples and their solutions are given basic definition of derivatives, which are necessary knowledge to himself counting derivatives.
